A/N - THAT IS LIKE, THE BEST EDIT EVER. WATCH IT.

"Margret and Eloise are two of our best agents," the camp director was trying to promote some of his trainees. Peggy and Eloise had been there some time, and the two had become rather important. Both competitive spirits wanting the same thing - to excel.

The two had gained quite the friendship as well. Peggy had heard everything there was to know about Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers. Eloise had heard everything as well. Why she enlisted, why she lied on her age. Eloise didn't blame her though. She had bigger confidence than Eloise ever could, she could be serious, but she could be inappropriate and reckless. Just like Eloise.

Edwards had been discussing with Chester Phillips, a man known for being in the Strategic Scientific Reserve. He had some seriously secret stuff going on, and both girls wanted in on it.

"We'll take them," Phillips said, nodding to Eloise and Peggy, both of them perking up. Visibly, they looked serious, on the inside, they couldn't wait to start working.

-

"You seriously didn't have any love interests?" Peggy asks, walking with Eloise to her room to pack. Peggy didn't always act like it, but she could sure be the little sister thorn-in-your-side kind of person. Pestering Eloise constantly on who she liked, who she had crushes on. She never lost her beautiful accent, and it only matured with her, no matter immature she may be.

"I keep telling you the same answer whenever you ask," she sighs. "Not really."

"But that's not an answer!" she whines playfully.

"No, it's an answer, just not one you may enjoy."

"What do you think we'll get to do at the SSR? Do you think there's going to be any super cool tech geniuses?" Peggy asks, practically bouncing off the walls from excitement.

"Probably," Eloise says with a shrug. "With our luck that Stark guy will be wandering around."

"Howard Stark," she mumbles. "He sounds like an asshole."

"He probably is, Peg," she giggles. "No doubt he's got about fifty different girlfriends."

"Oh, definitely."

"I'll never date someone like that," she admits. Though, over the past few years she'd been talking with Bucky, he's had several girlfriends. And she's had some feeling towards him, she always had, but this time, everytime he had a girlfriend, she felt some sort of jealousy.

Eloise packed her few uniforms, pajamas, lounge and workout clothes into her bag. She slung it over her shoulder and left at Peggy's side.

- Now we start the Captain America stuff yaaaaaaaaay-

"Project Rebirth," Chester Phillips says, handing Peggy a file full of papers about the topic. Eloise glanced over, looking at it curiously. While she was older, Peggy was taller than Eloise. "The serum we're using is highly advanced. Agent Margret Carter will be the advisor for the subject. Agent Eloise Rogers shall be of assistance to both Agent Carter and the subject, while also conducting her own orders to Mister Stark."

Eloise sighed, unexcited over the name "Stark". He was having an expo back in Brooklyn tonight that she'd be brought back in for. She hadn't seen Steve or Bucky in forever, and couldn't wait to see them again.

"Agent Eloise Rogers, you'll be going to the Stark Expo tonight to assist Mister Stark in coming here promptly after the expo is over," Phillips says sternly. Of course, Eloise wouldn't be around the millionaire for long, not wanting to hang around him to much. Nonetheless, Eloise nodded and looked to Peggy with a small smile. Her friend returned it gratefully.

-

"Hey! Pick on someone your own size!" Steve hears, he's getting beat up in another alleyway, of course. Bucky swings his arm at the loud jerk that had been beating up Steve. The jerk runs off. "Sometimes, I think you like getting punched."

"I had him on the ropes," Steve says sheepishly.

Bucky rolls his eyes and picks up Steve's enlistment form that'd been strewn on the ground. "How many times is this?" he asks, glancing over it. "Oh, you're from Paramus now? You know, it's illegal to lie on the enlistment form. And, Jersey?"

"You get your orders?" Steve asks, changing the topic from his Brooklyn betrayal.

"The one-o-seventh. Sargent James Barnes," he says proudly, bouncing on his tip toes slightly. "Shipping out for England first thing tomorrow!"

"I should be going," Steve says, beginning to push his way around his friend. Eloise had told him she'd be home soon.

"Come on, man! It's my last night! Gotta get you cleaned up!" He says, slinging an arm around his best friend.

"Why, where are we going?"

"The future," Bucky answers, smacking a newspaper to his chest.

"You were always the dramatic one, huh? Also, Steve, stop getting beat up," the two hear, looking up to see Eloise. Her uniform snug on her thin frame, pins on her collar piece. "Nice outfit." her voice noticeably wavers and hollows at her compliment at Bucky, giving him a soft smile.

"Eloise," the two say in unison.

"Yeah, yeah, come hug me," she begs, opening her arms. The boys run to her, enveloping her in a huge hug.

"He leaves tomorrow morning, are you staying longer?" Steve asks.

"Sadly not, I'm the advisor for," she glances down at the newspaper that is held in Steve's hand. She taps it lightly and smiles. "This thing."

"The future." Bucky states. "It'll be really cool! How'd you manage to be an advisor?"

"I know a guy, several, actually. I'm here until tomorrow morning when I return to England with Mister Stark," she sighs. "I wish I could stay longer."

-

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Mister Howard Stark!" Eloise addresses the man she only met about twenty minutes ago. He comes out on stage, several women shouting about loving him.

How? Is the only thing she could ask herself.

She hopped back offstage, rejoining her friend and brother.

"Hope you didn't go find dames to flatter without me," she laughs, walking up to them.

"Very funny," Steve rolls his eyes playfully, socking her in the arm.

"Ow, hey, you've got a mean punch," she complains, rubbing her arm, feigning hurt. She smiles and Steve returns it.

"I'll be off now, don't go lying on enlistments anymore, Steven," Eloise says, narrowing her eyes. She smiles playfully, then remembers Peggy's orders. She had leaked them before they had touched ground.

They were looking for someone unfit. Someone they were sure would never succeed normally.

They'd never take Steve, right?
