Joey's POV

        Someone is shaking my shoulders and calling out my name. I must have drifted off again. I look up to see Caleb is the one that woke me up. "Hey Caleb." I say. "How long have you been here?"

        Kelsey steps up beside her husband, "We just got here, Joe. We thought we'd give you a break." She motioned behind her where Chad, Fallon, and Madison stood. "Alan wanted to come too, but he's too far away. He should be here tomorrow."

       "I don't know if I should leave her." My eyes drift to Susanna again.

       "Come on, little bro. Come with me and Caleb and we'll get you some coffee. The women can stay here." Before I could protest, he guided me (surprisingly gently) out of the room.

        Fallon gave me a reassuring look, "Everything will be fine. If she wakes up Kelsey will run get you." She tried to lighten the mood, and her and Kelsey made a silly face at each other.

        We went to a coffee shop just outside the hospital drive and sat down. And just talked for a few minutes. The guys were trying to get my mind off the accident, when my phone rang. It was Alan. "Joey. I heard what happened, man. I'm so sorry. I'm on my way back now." My phone rang again and it was Sus's parents telling me they would soon be there.

         Just as we were hanging up, Caleb's phone rang. And he answered. I could tell he was talking to Kelsey. "Got it, babe. We'll be right there!" He hung up and I saw joy in his eyes. "Joey. That was Kelsey. Susanna is waking up!"
