Chapter Seven
Susanna's POV
I got to watch the guys in action today. And let me tell you it was totally awesome! They recorded a song and I watched from outside, with another friend of theirs, as he run the sound board. They were doing a test run on a song, a cover, and the energy that flowed between them was so much better in person. I don't use the term idol, because I feel like it would be wrong. But I can say these four men had been heroes in my life. Each was their own person and had personality differences, but they each were followers of Christ and lights for Him. Appropriate, right?
They ended the session and the random thought popped into my mind of wondering if they knew how many people appreciated them. I mean they not only had a fan base on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. But they also had an every growing number of fans on Pinterest, Wattpad, and a brand new social network that the guys were already on called tsu.co. I smiled, I sure had some interesting stuff to tell my fellow Lightbulb friends that I've made.
The guys all made their way out and grinned, "So what'd you think of seeing recording in action, Susanna?" Caleb said first.
I couldn't stop myself from gushing with excitement. "It was amazing. My family has a smaller scale recording system and a pretty good Mic setup, but nothing like this. I recorded a CD back home with my family. I brought it along, would y'all mind..." I lost my steam and my nerve right along with, this was Anthem Lights I was talking to, surely they wouldn't have time to listen to a little nobody like me. Besides I'd already took up too much of their precious time.
"Do you have a CD with you?" Chad asked me, I was in such shock that all I could was just nod.
"Well, I tell you what. Let us borrow it and we can listen to it sometime." Alan said reassuringly.
That was all I could take, tears came trickling down my cheeks. "Thank you guys, so much." I dug in my purse and got out the CD my family had made back home. "I really appreciate this."
Joey's POV
I put a hand on Susanna's shoulder, patting her back and smiling at her. Tears were coming down her face and I could tell they were cause she was so thankful.
To tell the truth I was pretty thankful too, I hadn't even told the guys about my plan yet and already they were right on track with it. I just knew that God had a great plan for Susanna. And I was hoping and praying that His plan included her staying here in Nashville.
