Susanna's POV

       Christmas is getting closer, but I have at least got some shopping done. Yesterday?? I went shopping with the Anthem Light wives, while Alan, Chad, Caleb and Joey kept Avery and Presley. Don't you think they had lots of fun together?

      I'm thankful I already had my friends and families parents back home bought up, I had just forgot about storing them in our out building before I left.

      I have got a few things, I was glad to have the others with me, for suggestions. I got Caleb a book called "Mocha with Max" by Max Lucado and one of those cool sets , where you get two mugs, bags of cocoa mix and some snazzy spoons. I have to admit he's an easier one, and I was so happy to find a set that came with Mario and Princess Peach in mug form. I already have stuff in mind for some of the women's presents, but thought I'd wait until today... hopefully Joey will go shopping with me.

       Anyways back to what I have bought. I got Alan a digital photo frame key chain, and Brycie and I are going to put a bunch of pictures on it, for him to keep with him whenever he's filming a movie. I also got him a music not mug for his new love of coffee.

       Chad... I'm not going to lie, I very seriously thought about getting him a gag gift. Finally I went with a model race car that he will have to build and a dog mug. Fallon and I laughed, because I first picked up a ugly Christmas sweater with a cat on it.

       Joey? Yeah I haven't decided what to get him.

Joey's POV

       I am super excited right now. I just got a call from Jamie Grace, and she has agreed to the tour with all of us. We start in the spring! I can't wait to tell Susanna, but I have a little plan up my sleeve. I'm thinking I will have Jamie tell her... in person. He he, I feel so sneaky!

      Before I can even hardly get in another thought, my phone starts ringing, I smirk getting an idea. "Yo, who dis? Yo better no be calling about dat Joe dude, he ain't here." I answer disguising my voice, holding my stomach and doing my best to hold back my laughter.

       "Hi, Joey." Susanna's voice answers on the other end of the line, her voice calmer then ocean waves on a non-breezy day.

       "Seriously? How'd you know? That was good stuff." I protested.

        "Sure... Anyways, would you mind going shopping with me today?" I can hear the smile in her voice.

         I groan. "Sus.... I really would rather..."

        She interrupts me, "I need to go by a toy store, to pick up Avery and Presley a present."

        Okay. I could so do that kind of shopping. "Sure. When will you be ready?"

        "By the time you get here, I'll be ready." I know she's feeling pretty happy with herself about convincing me, I can hear that in her voice too.

        I finish up and head out, and soon I'm at the apartment. Susanna is waiting for me smiling. "Couldn't resist the call of the toy store, eh?" Before I can make a reply, she adds, "Don't worry neither can I." We make our way to the mall, and she shoots me a sheepish grin, "Did I mention I need to pick up stuff for Fallon, Brycie, and Kelsey too?"

       "Let me see... hmm... no. I think you left that part out." I reach over and poke her. She leaps away and dashes away into the nearby toy store. "You won't get away that easily." I whisper to myself, laughing.

       When I step into the store I don't see sight of Susanna. I peep down a couple of aisles, but still no luck. I hesitantly walk down the Lego aisle, man Caleb would love this place. Suddenly, a foam sword smacks me right in the face. Susanna stands grinning at me. "Gotcha!"

      "Think again!" I jump towards her and tickle her till she hands over the sword. By that time she's grabbed a shield and is backing away. I catch her again...

      "Aww, aren't they sweet, Leonard? They remind me of us, when we were their age." An elderly couple is smiling widely at us, the woman spoke and her husband said something about, "And you know what happened to us." He grins and winks at me, flashing his hand with his wedding ring on it.

     Susanna and I break apart and her face is as red as mine feels. We rushed away picking out some thing's for Alan's little girls. She runs into a few more stores, getting Fallon and Brycie some gifts. Our final stop in the mall stores is the Disney store, where she plans on getting Kelsey's gift. We both have a blast in there, Susanna is a huge Disney fan. I think her and Caleb's wife will be great friends, with that being a fact for both of them.

       We browse and I enjoy listening to her ooh and ahh at the different things in the store. Especially a Beauty and the Beast necklace, that is an open book and has some lyrics on it. As she's checking out a few more things and then purchasing what she's decided on, I pick up a Aladdin mug and wait in line, "You go ahead and get us a seat at the food court, I'll catch up after I get done here." She just smiles and leaves the store. I turn to the cashier, "I'd like to get this and that." I point at the necklace rack behind the counter.

      I leave the store smiling and catch up with Susanna at the food court, we make our orders and eat. I have to admit... today has been a good day.

Susanna's POV

      This has been a great day, I smile at Joey as we eat and talk. I'm so glad God brought me here and let me meet these people. Especially the totally silly, but loveable and handsome man sitting across from me right now.
