Natsu P.o.v:

I heard footsteps behind me and ran faster, hoping it wasn't Laxus. I made my way out of school and into the student parking lot, only slowing down when I got to Lucy's car.

"H-holy shit, ho- how can you- r-run so fast!?"

I turned to see that it was Lucy running after me and not Laxus. I shrugged as I regained my breath.

"Adrenaline? I'm not quite sure myself to be honest with you."

After we had finished dying from lack of working lungs, we got into her car and she pulled out of her space. We drove in silence for a while before she glanced at me.

"You okay?" She asked softly. I thought for a while about how I felt after setting my bully on fire.

"Well considering I just showed the entire school and my family that I'm a dragon slayer after denying I have any magic ability for sixteen years by raging out on the school asshole... I'm great." I smiled a little.

"Shocked as fuck but great nonetheless."

Lucy laughed and nodded.

"I'm really proud of you Natsu you know that?" She said with a massive grin on her face.

"Um... Thanks?" I said with a quizzical look. Confused that she's proud of me for doing something that insane.

"Don't look at me like that. I've never seen you use your magic before, You looked so cool! And besides, Laxus deserved it so..."

I thanked her for the compliment and we fell into a comfortable silence for about ten minutes before I realised something.

"Hey... Where are we going anyway? You normally go to the local mall if you wanna go shopping."

She smirked and glanced at me.

"Normally I do yeah... But today's the day my friend."

"Today's the day? For what? What's happening today?"

She didn't answer me and I huffed in annoyance, grabbing the AUX cord and plugging my phone in.

"Don't play any of your weird shit."

I ignored her comment and put on 'King for a day' by Pierce the veil.

She smiled and we drive along with the windows down and the music blasting from the speakers. We often do this when we have nothing to talk about. We love getting weird looks from people we drive past.

*time skip to le secret place*

Lucy shook me awake slowly, because apparently I had fallen asleep.

"Where are we? What time is it?" I asked, before stretching with a groan.

"It's ten past four and you'll see in a minute. Now get out of the car slowpoke." She said, jumping up and down excitedly.

I got out and followed behind her for a while before she stopped suddenly.

"Shit I almost forgot! Come here." She ordered and I shot her a confused look before stepping closer to her.

She took a long silk scarf from her bag and wrapped it around my eyes, careful not to touch me too much.

"You're kinks are going to far Luce." I said jokingly and she hit my arm lightly.

"You love it." She laughed before linking my arm gently. "No, it's a surprise remember, I don't want it ruined."

She guided me along for four minutes and thirty two seconds (Yes I counted) before I heard a bell jingle and warmth engulfed me.

"Okay... Natsu, you sit here." Lucy said, pushing me into a seat of some kind.

"Not like I have much choice but okay..."

She ignored me and I heard her walk away to talk to someone.

"Hey Mira, it's not my turn today... I brought someone else along." She said with a giggle.

Not her turn? What the fuck have I gotten myself into...

I heard someone in heels walk over, followed by Lucy's soft pumped footsteps.

"Oh great! I would say hi but you can't see me." A soft female voice said and it made me smile.

"Blame that one." I said, pointing in the general direction Lucy was standing.

The lady laughed and then asked Lucy what she wanted but Lucy didn't respond.

I heard paper being ripped and then the scratch of a pen. She was writing so that I wouldn't hear 'what she wanted.'

Ooh, this is beautiful Lucy! I didn't know you could draw."

Wait she drew? I'm so confused.

"T-thanks... Could you do that?"

"Oh yeah this is easy. It'll be done in no time."

"Thanks Mira. Hey Nat... Do you want some coffee?"

"Um... Suuuree?"

I waited a few seconds and a cup was pressed into my hand. I lifted it to my lips slowly, so I didn't spill any and took a sip.

"Mmm, this is really good." I said with a smile.

I finished the drink and waited for Lucy to do or say something else that would give me a clue as to what was happening.

I started to yawn after a few minutes. Once, then twice, then three times. What's wrong with me?

"L-loosely, so sleeeepy. Why am I so leepy?" I said, getting confused and muddling up my words.

"It's okay, go to sleep, you'll feel better when you wake up."

But I was already drifting out of consciousness, and unable to hear her.
