"its been so long since i have been in school." i clapped my hands together once i have entered the gates

I begin to get inside when i noticed there wasn't much students inside which made it scarier

I know im a detective i must be confident but once im not in detective mode im just a normal teenager

I was getting scared because at a time like this the lights were open and nobody is in the school right now

I heard the principle of this school come early so atleast im not alone

But, where is the principles office?

Dang it, there is no one around to ask from.....

I started to wonder around, passing by classrooms that i will soon be in learning stuff

There's letters in each section?

I didn't know that....

"what are you doing?" a voice thunders behind me scaring the living soul out of me

"don't! Scare me like that" i started to calm down after the jump scare

"if your looking for the principles office go straight then turn left straight again and the third door to the last hallway" he pointed

Straight then left then.... Straight? And then... Third door to where? The last hallway..?

I guess so.

Just what the red orange dude just told me i knocked on the door after hearing a 'come in' i opened the door widely

As i enter there sitting was a older version of the kid earlier. Ah~, probably his dad

"we have been expecting you" i voice behind me said

Turning around doing karate poses I faced a tall man and a serious looking girl

Then at the principle

"you are assigned to this class" the tall man gave me a paper then a picture of the teacher

"i guess your uncle already told you about it" he said then left

I just stood there not knowing what to do

"come follow me to our classroom, i will also be your teacher for Pe and another girl will be your Language teacher and the rest of the subjects will be teached by this, creature?" he said walking pass almost all of the classrooms

Huh? Then where is my classroom if...

Right before i left the building i saw the guy again at the door of the building just looking at us

Ignoring him because this tall guy walks fast i don't want to trip

"umm sir, where is my classroom?" i asked

"there" he pointed up at a mountain

As i look closely i noticed there was a shed there

Their expecting me to come up this mountain just for this mission.

Later

After minutes of trying to climb up i finally reached to the top

"never, again" i panted

"i thought you were the greatest detective in asia what are you doing leaning over a tree?" the tall man questioned

"well im sorry mr, tall guy i just wasn't trained to exercise i was trained to find out hints and clues about the missions" i rolled my eyes entering the big shed

"follow me to your class" he walked infront of me

Just because you have long legs....

Few minutes later

"class, i welcome you our fellow co worker and detective Saki"

I waved at them

There were two seats behind that were empty so i guessed no one really sat there

After the introductions i sat on the last chair

"hey isn't that Karma's chair?"
"but she doesn't know he sits there he's cutting classes again"

The class was stopped when the door flew open revealing a guy with red hair

As red as my eyes

"im sorry miss but that's my seat" he put his hand on the table

"im sorry then" i stood up passing by him then onto the next chair

But what made everyone laugh was when i move my chair farther to him

"come on now thats not nice" he laid his arm resting his head on it

"that wasn't really nice either" two can play this game

I may look smart but no, i'm still that little mischievous girl deep in my heart before that ha-

I guess it was his first time losing to a teasing game then sucker....

Then like the flash an octopus came inside

The red head or what i heard from the other students say was Karma looked at me teasingly

What i ended up did was just push my table beside his

We looked infront to meet the students eyes teasingly smile at us with the teachers whole head turning bright pink even a hint of blush could be seen

"wut..." i mumbled

"its like you two were made for each other..." one student said

"anyways i guess Karasuma has already introduced her to you but let me give you more details" the teacher sat down holding a red clipboard

"Name is Misaki Ato detective name is Saki, age 14 and well thats all that she wrote in her introduction paper" the teacher closed his clipboard and stayed until

Everyone stood up and there they started shooting

I studied the teachers moves

This could help me investigate

I started to write down notes with no one noticing

Sometimes panics and when he does loses balance

Incredibly fast but looks weak

Can regenerate quickly

But loses energy at the end

He does looks like an octopus but from that image something else could be noticed

It looks interesting to investigate so this could be helpful

I came closer to Karma secretly grabbing the knife then pretending to accidentally slip off and land on his lap making all the girls and boys blush and squeal

Including the octopus so it was my time to use this moment till he was distracted

I then threw the knife

And lemme tell you i never lose my aim and it was directly going to hit it when... He moved

Gosh dang it!!

I thought i almost had it!!

I forgot i was still sitting on Karma

I got up and left, after that i sat down on my chair staring the person in front of me like it was the most amazing thing

"so you know... Amazing response coming from Asias greatest detective" the teacher clapped

The students looked confuse so he started to explain

"i noticed Saki throwing a knife right at me so then i knew her plan, it was to distract me, right after her plan she threw the knife right exactly trying to hit this" his tentacle pointed at the middle of his tie
