2. Grammy nomination!!

"A new post?? Let's see what it is...." I say as I click on the picture.

Oh. My. God!!

Pentatonix is nominated for a grammy!!

I immediately go to YouTube to check out the video for 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy'........

Pure enjoyment!!

I remember the poll I'd answered earlier (for no reason at all!!)......

How is it that these five highly talented people can make such spine-chillingly beautiful music every single time??

Well, for me, it was love at first note!!

The very first time I saw your brown eyes.....

Correction: The very first time I heard Pentatonix sing, I was captivated, right from the start!!

They're the (musical) love of my life!!

I had no idea I was going to love anyone this much.....

Then came along Avriel 'Avi' Benjamin Kaplan, Kevin 'K.O.' Oluwole Olusola, Kirstin 'Kirstie' Taylor Maldonado, Mitchell 'Mitch' Coby Michael Grassi and Scott Richard Hoying, or, in short, Skïrvītchin  (word courtesy Bud)!!

Skïrvītchin changed my life and the way I look at music, a cappella, especially......

Never had I thought so thoroughly of what went into making a song before I listened to Pentatonix.....

And, coming back to 'DotSPF', I listen to it and then 'White Winter Hymnal' starts playing. The catchy intro elevates me to cloud nine.......

'I was following the, I was following the,' I sing along. The carpenter at work to my side stares at me. Ever since I yelped (when I found out Ptx was nominated for a Grammy), the guy's been giving me a quizzical look.....

I silence him with a glare and a raise of my eyebrow and continue listening......

' I was following the pack

All swallowed in their coats

With scarves of red tied 'round their throats

To keep their little heads

From fallin' in the snow

And I turned 'round and there you go

And, Michael, you would fall

And turn the white snow red as strawberries

In the summertime

I was following the pack

All swallowed in their coats

With scarves of red tied 'round their throats

To keep their little heads

From fallin' in the snow

And I turned 'round and there you go

And, Michael, you would fall

And turn the white snow red as strawberries

In the summertime
