Second night

Jack was a little less nervous this night. Mark had slept long enough and had coffee to stay awake so Jack wouldn't have to work alone.
The green haired man looked over at the American. His eyes were wandering around the hallway, following the movement of his own flashlight in order to see where he was going.

Jack smiled.
This night was going to be different. If something was about to happen he had Mark to confirm it.
Said man noticed the stare of his best friend and smiled back at him, making the still worried man relax a little more.

They both reached the office.
Three minutes left until midnight and the start of their shift.
Mark placed their items in his backpack while Jack started the security cameras.

Two minutes left until midnight.
Jack sat down in the chair from where he could control the cameras while Mark leaned at the wall behind him. There he could close the heavy metal doors in case of an emergency. He didn't really expect something to happen but he took the place just to make sure.

One minute left until midnight.

"Still scared, leprechaun?", Mark asked teasingly. Jack stretched out his tongue to him.
"Shut up, shorty", Jack grinned, knowing Mark hated being called short.
"Oh no, you didn't" Mark said grinning. He didn't wanna hurt his friend but he had a perfect idea how to revenge his ego.
"Oh I did, whatcha wanna do, huh?", Jack grinned back, not knowing he already lost this battle.

"That!"
Mark jumped at his friend and started to tickle him, making Jack laugh, unable to take a breath in surprise.
He gasped behind his laughter, trying to fill his lungs with air.

The bell rang, showing the men that their shift had begun.

Mark released Jack, leaving him still laughing a little and gasping for air.
"Oh my god I hate you"
Mark only smirked at this comment and went back to leaning at the wall. After a few more seconds, Jack sat upright in the chair and started checking the cameras.

The first two hours went by.
It was painfully slow and beyond boring. They changed places every half hour so now it was Jacks turn again.
He watched the screen bored and scrolled through the different cameras while Mark was playing with his phone.
After a few moments Jack decided to check on the main room again and froze.
He looked at the time.
4 am.
He rubbed his eyes and took a sip of his coffee but nothing changed. The bunny animatronic was gone.

"M-Mark?" Jack turned around to see his best friend, scared.
"What's wrong?" The red haired man asked confused.
"B-Bonnie..." Jack said, pointing at the screen. He could only hope that he was hallucinating.

Mark went over to his friends side and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. He was wondering what was going on. Why was Jack so scared and what did that have to do with the animatronic? But one look at the screen answered his questions and was enough for himself to loose all Color in his face.

They had two more hours to work.

And the animatronic was gone.
