Taking a last deep breath, the two men opened the door to the Pizzeria.
They were extra early so they could take a real look around before their first night started.
Like it was made for their horror game vibes a flash lighted their surrounding quickly followed by a loud growling thunder. Jack yelped in surprise, earning a laugh from his dear friend. The lights were already out to safe energy. They were told that after they got the job and they definitely wouldn't complain. More energy for the doors and cameras, even though they were sure they wouldn't need the doors.
So since the lightning wasn't planned and they didn't want to waste energy, both of them brought a flashlight with them.
"We won't split up?" Mark asked. Jack shook his head in response, turning on his flashlight and walking forward. Mark did the same and followed him quietly.
"This Place gives me the chills..." Jack whispered as if a sudden loud noise would lead to something dangerous.
"Yeah, it's pretty scary at night..." Mark let out a sudden scream. Not to loud but loud enough for Jack to scream out in fear and turn around with widen eyes. The scared look soon changed into anger as he slept the arm of his laughing friend.
"That's not funny Mark!" The slightly taller one said in disbelief.
"It is for me" Mark grinned widely, making the Irish bean pout.
"Okay Okay, I'm sorry. But we should head to the office now" Mark still grinned but earned a nod from his still pissed off friend. With that said, both of them went to the office, ready for their first night.
"Exactly like in the game" Jack could hear Mark mumble. He was really excited even though he doesn't wanna show it. He had to stay calm. Mark looked at his watch. "One Minute left" Jack nodded in response and turned on the cameras. He had to say: His own camera was way better than those from this place. It really looked like back in the game, almost as if they wanted it to look shitty.
"Hey Jack?"
Called man spun around in the chair, facing the one that asked for his attention. He saw Mark, standing in the doorway, inspecting the buttons for light and to close the doors. "Yeah?" Jack responded wondering what he wants.
"Why do you think would we need those?"
Jack frowned in his movement. Were they going to get chased? Will they be in danger? Will they have to lock them selves to survive?
"Maybe in case someone breaks in?", Mark thought loudly as he saw the terrified face of his friend. With that thought entering his mind, Jack relaxed a bit. He wouldn't want someone to break in but that seemed way better than Killer robots or whatever he expected.
"Well, guess we'll find out. Twelve a.m., time for the first night!" Mark said smiling before he sat down. As soon as he was comfortable they heard a ringing noise. A phone.
