3rd POV

Brec opens her eyes quickly and jolts up from the floor. Clutching her stomach while groaning in pain.

Yume wakes up first. Startled. When she see's Brec she imadiantly goes to her quickly.

"Brec?! What's wrong!?"
"It--Hurts--!"
Is all she can manage.

Panicking. Yume shouts. Causing the others in Honoka's living room to wake up.

"Yume...? What's wrong?"

Honoka says. Still half asleep.
"It's Brec! She says that something hurts!"

Honoka jolts up and rushes over to Brec.
"Riku! Ryuu!"

She calls the brothers. They rush over quickly. Riku and Ryuu's family are doctors. So of course they know a bit about medical stuff.

Ryuu imediantly starts to examine Brec. Asking her to lay down.

Yume and Honoka help gently to lay their sister down. After asking Brec some questions and examining her body a bit Ryuu nods his head to himself.

"What's wrong with her!?"
Riku asks. Worried and scared.

Ryuu stares at Riku for a bit. Then looks around the room at everyone. Ako is staring. Worried. Mahiru looks like she's praying. And Lily is staring at Ryuu straight in the eye. Frightened. Basically, everyone is looking at him worried and terrified as too what's happening to their friend.

"She's in labor."

All it took was those 3 words. And the room became dead silent. Nobody moves an inch for a few seconds.

That is until a loud groan of excruciating pain comes from Brec. And everyone snaps back into reality.

"How!? She's barley 6 months in!"
Riku yells almost crying.

"I don't know! That's the one thing I can't figure out!"

Ryuu balls up his hand lightly and places it on his head.

"And mom and dad haven't taught me how birthing works!"

Yume's eyes widen as she remembers something.

"'I sigh as I stare back onto the words. I had found a text book that I'm pretty sure Honoka won't read. I know it sound weird but it's about birth.....'"

"I can deliver the baby...."

Every stares at Yume.
"What?"

"I can deliver the baby..... I read a few months ago a text book about birth and how to do it and help. I can deliver my niece!"

Everyone stares at her shocked. While Brec yells,"Well then please Yume! Deilver her!"

Riku turns to Brec.
"Bu--But she said a few months ago! What if she forgot! What if--"
Brec cuts him off.

"Riku. She's my sister--I trust her--And she's the only one here who has at least the basic knowledge as too how to do it!"
Brec yells while groaning in pain between sentences.

"I trust her! And you need too also!"

Riku look at Brec. Then at Yume. He closes his eyes and takes in a deep breath.

"Alright."

Yume and Brec smile. But Brec bends over slightly again yelling in pain.

"Okay!"
Yume starts.

"Sora!"
Sora jumps at his name slightly.
"You're the oldest out of everyone here! The hospital isn't far from here. I need you run-drive-I don't care! You just need to get a doctor here quick!"

Yume yells at him in a serous tone. Sora nods in reply. She turns to Honoka.
"I need you to get me an apron!"

Honoka nods and as soon as she left, comes back with a light pinkish and purplish apron. Yume ties it around her waist and nods at Sora.

"Go! Now!"

Sora nods and bolts out of the house. She turns to Riku.

"I need you to get me some boiling water Riku!"
"Got it!"

He runs off to the kitchen. Yume turns to Lily.

"Lily! I need you to get some towels alright?!"

Lily nods."Aye Yume-Sama!" She quickly scrambles up to her feet and runs to the restroom. Remembering that she saw quite a few towels in there.

Yume looks at Honoka.
"Honoka, do you have any rubbing  alcohol for disinfected!?"
"I'm pretty sure I saw some in the cabinet!"

Yume nods.
"That's perfect! Go get it quick!"

Riku and Lily both return around the same time while Honoka returns rather quickly.

"Okay! I'm gonna need all the males besides Riku to go to Honoka's room!"

While the boys leave the living room Subaru stops besides Yume real quick.
"Yume... Are you sure you can do this?"
"For the sake of Brec I will. I may not come from a family of doctors like Riku and Ryuu. But I know how to do this. As much as I'd appreciate your support Subaru I need you to leave!"

Subaru is slightly taken aback from Yume's words but quickly nods and leaves.

Yume crawls over to Brec.
"This is gonna hurt a lot... I just want to know if you're ready Brec...?"

Brec nods.
"I am.."

"And you do know that the baby might not survive right...."
"I know..."

Yume nods quickly. And before she begins she looks at the clock.

It's 3 am. So that means its January 14th...

Yume shakes her head and gets to work.

Lily is in the corner praying with tears falling down her cheeks. Ako, Mahiru, and Laura are all holding each other in a tight embrace. And Riku is holding Brec's hand.

Another scream of agony and pain fills the room. One after another.

"Brec! I need you to push harder!"
"I'm trying Yume! But it hurts! So much!"

Riku places his hand on Brec's cheek and lays his head near Brec's.

"I know you can do this Brec... Please..."
"I've got her head!"
"See! We're so close Brec! So close to being actual parents! Please!"

Brec gives Riku's hand one last tight squeeze.

Honoka's bedroom door opens to Honoka leaning against it and tumbling over and holding herself up from the ground.

"Honoka!"
"I'm fine..."
She points at the living room.

"Subaru... Yume needs you...."

Subaru races out of Honoka's bedroom along with Ryuu.

The first thing he see's is Yume on the ground. Tired and out of breath strangely.

"Yume!"
He runs over to her and gently places his hands on her shoulders. Noticing the blood on her arms a bit, her gloves. But mostly on her apron.

She doesn't reply. Rather she uses the last of her strength to point at Brec.

Subaru looks over and his eyes widen.

Brec and Riku are gently holding their baby. As Brec smiles lovingly at her baby girl.

"I'm an aunt...."
Is all Yume can mutter. A small smile appears on her lips.

"What's her name?"
Lily asks. Fascinated by the baby.

"I don't know... We've never really discussed it--"
"Bree."
Riku says cutting her off.

Brec turns to him
"I wanna name her Bree."
He says once more.

"A--Are you sure? It sounds so similar to my name. Just replace the 2nd e with a c and you have Brec."
"That's why. She looks mostly like you.. So I want her to have a name like yours."

Brec seams taken aback. But then smiles and nods.

"Welcome to the world... Itona Bree...."

Bree gives a cute smile and giggles at her name.

'2 months.....'

Brec thinks.

'Just 2 more months until I die... Now that Bree came here early....'
