(I worked really hard on this chapter so I hope you all enjoy it! Oh and prepared to get triggered..... A lot)

3rd POV

Yume takes a deep breath. Trying to calm herself.

She was at the hospital visting Brec and Bree when Riku-who had gone home to grab a book for Brec-had texted her that Lily's father showed up at their home out of nowhere.

He told her to come over and act like she forgot something at their home or that she needed a place to study. When in reality. She would be going up stairs to Lily's room to calm her down. And protect her if she had too.

Yume decided to pretend that she had to study. It would give her an excuse as to why she was going to stay in their home for an extended amount of time. And Ryuu would open the door and play along also.

She takes in one more deep breath and knocks. When the door opens it reveals Ryuu with a nervous expression on his face.

"Yume!? What are you doing here?"
He asks as if everything was not planned.

Yume gives him a fake but very  believable playful expression.
"Ehehe.... I need a quiet place to study for my test next week. And your home is the only quiet place that I'm aware of. So... Can I study here for a bit?"

Ryuu nods.
"Of course."

Yume fakely smiles at him and walks inside. She imediantly spots Lily's father. His most noticeably feature was that he was tall. Real tall. And had dark pale pink hair.

She wanted to glare at the man for causing her friend pain and sorrow. But she couldn't break her character. Rather, she nodded at him politely and went up stairs.

The second she was out of sight, she bolted through the hallway towards Lily's bedroom. Luckily, the floors were sound proof. So Lily's father wouldn't be able to hear Yume run.

The second she opens the door to Lily's room she spots her on the bed holding her knees up to her chest with her head resting on top of her knees.

The sound of the door opening brings Lily's attention up. And Yume swore she would never forget the look of fear in Lily's face and eyes when the door opened.

Lily imediantly gets up and runs to Yume. Throwing her arms around Yume's figure. Tears falling down her cheeks.

"I--I thought you were my f--fa--father..."

Yume placed her right hand behind Lily's head and her other on her back and gently rubs her back.

"I'm here now Lily. And I'm going to protect you... That's a promise."
Yume whispered to her. She looks at Lily and whispers,"We have to be quiet okay? We can't make any sound."

Lily nods her head. Yume motions for her to go back in the bed. Lily quietly walks over despite the fact that the floor is... Well you. Sound proof.

Yume slowly turns around and locks the door. She then walks over to Lily and joins her in the bed and hugs her like how a mother would hug her child.

Then... They wait.

"Really?" Yume says in a hushed voice.

"Yeah. Ryuu told me that tied around our ring finger is and invisible red string. And that the other end of it is tied to your soulmate."

Yume smiles. She then turns towards the door.

"Yume-Sama?"

Yume gives Lily a comforting look.
"Don't worry. I'll be right back."

Yume slides off the bed and walks over to the door. She opens it slowly and takes one last look at Lily.

Yume closes the door and walks down the stairs. Only to be greeted by a hand grabbing a fistful of her hair.

"Ow!"
Yume shouts out in pain. She looks up and see's him.

There. Lily's father is glaring at Yume with a sick smirk.

"Let go!"
Yume shouts.

"Where. Is. She."
Is all he says. No hint in his tone of consideration of Yume's pain.

"Mr. Hanami! I demand you let Ms. Nijino go!"

Ryuu yells. His voice stern. Lily's father pays no attention to the older sibling. While Riku is slowly inching closeer to something on the counter.

"Let go of her!"

A small voice yells. Everyone turns to Lily. Staring at her father.

Lily's father lets go of Yume's hair and walks towards Lily. When he's about a foot or two away from her Lily yells,"That's close enough!"

He stares at her.
"Young lady you will not talk back to your father!"

Lily scoffs.
"As if you've ever actually been a father to me!"

(Play song up top! But don't read the next part until a women's voice starts talking(More like yelling.)

"Do you have any idea how mortifying it is to find out that your child has been spending every night in somebody else's home and you didn't even know it!? You told me you were going for a walk-!"

"Since when does it matter to you where I am?"

"You never came home. I--I've been looking for you everywhere and-"

"Father."

"What!?"

"I left two months ago."

He pauses.
"You just up and walked out of my home and left like I didn't even exsit! And join these people!"

"They take care of me."
"They're not related to you!! Hey!! That's not your family Lily!"

"They actually feed me!"
That. Was the first time Lily ever raised her voice at her father. And the first time the gang heard her yell.

Lily's father looks down. A dark aura around him.

"You're coming home."
"Never."

He looks at Lily.
"And stay with these people!? They don't know you!"
"And you do!?"

He chuckles slightly.
"I thought I did!"
"What!? What do you know about me!? You don't know anything about me! You don't even talk to me like I'm your daughter!"

That's when it starts.

"You know what you un-grateful brat! At least I let you stay inside the house! At least I gave you food to eat-"
"Stop." Lily mutters.

"At least I didn't hit you with all my strength sometimes! I left you blaket to sleep! We didn't even have to waste money cuz all you ever wore was that white dress! Granted it was the only piece of clothing you had but-"
"Stop talking...." Lily mutters a bit louder this time.

"And then you let these worthless people walk into your life and buy you clothes and-when did you cut your hair!!??"

Lily snaps. Why? Well, it's one thing to talk shit about her. It's another to talk about her friends that way.

"They!! Are the only!"
She pauses for a second.

"They're the one good thing that ever happened to me father!! Sorry I didn't put you on the list of people who care and love me."

She walks away. Her back facing him. Making her way back up stairs. And she almost makes it until....

".... Well if you take people's pity as love and caring go on ahead..."

Lily freezes. She turns her head slightly to stare. No glare at her father. Her mouth slightly opened.

A sudden burst of anger hits her. Which gives her one thing she's never had in her entire life.

(Music starts)

"So I found a place where the grass is greener."
Lily starts.

"And I jump the fence to the other side. You ask,"Is it good?" Are they giving me a world you could never "provide"."
Lily does quotation marks on provide.

She turns fully to face her father and walks towards him.

"Well I hope you're proud of my big decision! Yeah, cause I know it's all you wanted and more. Cause now your free! From the againzing life you where living before!"

She turns away from him. Her fingers motioning like scissors.

"And you say what you need to say. So that you get to walk away."

Her scissors hands become a fist.
"It would kill you to have go stay trapped!" She turns to face him again.

"When you've got something new. Well I'm sorry you had it "rough". And I'm sorry I wasn't enough."

"Thank God they rescued me!"

"Cause now you got what you always wanted! Now you got your dream come true! Good for you! Good for you! You! You!!"

"I got a taste of a life so perfect! So I did what I had to do! So, good for you! Good for you...."

(Talking again)

"Why would ever run away?" Lily's father says in a fake caring tone.

"What?" Lily replies.

"I gave you everything you needed! A home! Food! A place to sleep! And then, all of a sudden you run away!? I don't get why you would do that!?"

"Don't pretend to care about me cause you really don't!"

"Like how these people do? I can't believe you forced them to hide you from me.."

"Why do you keep on telling yourself they don't care about me!? Cause they do!"

"Beacuse they watched over you?! Or beacuse I don't know, maybe you gave a treat to these boys every night!"
Lily glares at her father. Shocked by his sentence.

"Because they know what it's like to feel invisible! Just like me! To feel invisible and alone and like nobody would even notice If I vansihed into thin air! But of course you would never know what that would feel like!"

Lily's father glares at Lily with full hate and anger.
"Really!? You felt invisible!?"
He scoffs.

"That's so wrong and hilarious! Like you were ever lonely!"

"I did feel lonely and more! But they took all of it away!"

"Maybe you should remember who you're true family is! Me! Your father! Who never give you pain!"

"That's such a lie! You knew I was in pain and you didn't care! I have the bruises to prove it!"

He steps back. Angry. No. Furious. And Lily knew it. She knew what he would do when he was furious. But she didn't care. She wanted to show this man what pain he caused her and the scars he forver left on her.

He looks at everyone and their expression and he suddenly realized that they knew what he did to his daughter.

"So I did!! So what!!??"

Lily pulls her pink long sleeves down.
"So what!? What you did was illegal!" Yume shouts in anger.

Lily shows her scratched scars that were once red and bleeding that forever rest on her wrist.

"This!! Is what you made me!! Do to myself!!!"

"Oh so you became one of those pathetic emo teens who do nothing but cut themselves to become popular!!" He yells back at her.

Lily is enraged. She can no longer stand this man and wants him out. Out of here home. Out of her life forever.

(Wait until music/singing starts again)

"DOES IT CROSS YOUR MIND TO BE SLIGHTLY SORRY!?" Yume starts.

"DO YOU EVEN CARE THAT YOU MIGHT BE WRONG!?"
Lily starts.

"WAS IT "FUN"? WELL I HOPE YOU HAD A BLAST WHILE YOU DRAGGED ME ALONG!"

Lily then pushes a part of her hair out of the way to reveal the ear piece. She yanks in out and holds it in the palm of her hand.

"AND YOU SAY, WHAT YOU NEED TO SAY! AND YOU PLAY, WHO NEED TO PLAY! AND IF SOMEBODY'S IN YOUR WAY CRUSH THEM!"
Lily crushes the ear piece in her hand. Her father stares at her. Enraged.

"AND LEAVE THEM BEHIND!"

She then closes her eyes and gives her dad a fake sweet smile.
"WELL I GUESS IF I'M NOT OF USE! GO AHEAD YOU CAN COULD CUT ME LOOSE!"
She motions her thumb over her neck as if she was slicing it.

"GO AHEAD NOW! I WON'T MIND!!"
She turns her palm over and lets the ear piece fall. She then violently steps on it while walking towards her father.

"I'll shut my mouth and you'll let me go..."
She starts softly.

"That was our deal. But I guess that wasn't good for you! You! You!"

"I guess punching and kicking your daughter! I guess her pain was more good for you! You! You!"

(Lily talking)

"I always wondered as a kid. Why mother just walked out.. But now I don't have to wonder!"

"As much as I hate her for leaving me with you! I'm glad she left you! I know you loved her with all your heart! Unlike me! But now I have some news for you. You're losing the last thing mother ever left for a pathetic excuse of a father that's you! And guess what it's me thAT YOU'RE LOSING!"

(Music/Singing starts again)

"NOW YOU GOT WHAT YOU ALWAYS WANTED! NOW I GOT MY DREAM COME TRUE! GOOD FOR YOU! GOOD FOR YOU! YOU! YOU!"

Lily looks down. Tears of anger, saddness and pain fall down her cheeks. Her eyes closed.

"I FINALLY HAVE A LIFE SO PERFECT! AND THIS LILY IS SOMEONE NEW! SO I GUESS GOOD FOR YOU! GOOD FOR YOU! GOOD FOR YOU! GOOD FOR YOU!"

Lily's father raises his hand up to Lily. Ready to slap her.

"LILY!"
Yume shouts.

Right as it's about to make contact. A hand grabs it. A small female hand. Lily's hand. She looks up glaring.

"SO YOU GOT WHAT YOU ALWAYS WANTED!!"

He stares. Stunned. Lily never protected her self nor did she fight back against her father when it came to her father hitting her.

He moves his other hand. Motioning to grab her head full of hair like how he did to Yume moments ago. When Lily finally notices it but by then its too late.

That is until another hand stops him. Her father looks up at the figure. He is glaring at this man. With full hate and anger in his eyes. Eyes that say is he tries to hurt his Lily, he will end up regreating it.

Lily looks up to see who it is. And there he is.

Itona Ryuu. One hand holding her fathers wrist with all his strength and the other in front of her in a protective way.

"Mr. Hanami. I demand you leave my home. As the oldest sibling in this house while my parents are away. I'm in charged and what I say goes."

Lily was stunnded. Ryuu never acted this way. He was always gentle and calm and kind. So, what was triggered inside him to act this way.

"You're still a kid! I don't have to listen to you!"
"Well what about me? Mr. Hanami."

All heads turn to the front door. And there stands Mr. Itona. Ryuu and Riku's father.

"Sh--Shintaro-San!?"

Shintaro pays no attention. He turns to his son.
"Let go of his hand Ryuu."

Ryuu listens and lets go. He quickly grabs Lily and pulls her away from her father.

"Mr. Hanami. I will ask you kindly to leave my home. And never come back. And to stay away from Lily."

Lily's father scoffs.
"She's my daughter. I can do whatever I want with her. In fact. I'll report you all for kidnapping her! So HA!"

"Actually."
Riku starts. Everyone turns to him. He has a phone in his hand.

"The reason my fathers here. I texted him. And I have proof that we didn't kidnap her. Why? Cuz I recorded the whole thing. And sent it to all of our friends. So good luck trying to destroy it. And knowing Shiro. He's probably made about 50 more copies of the voice recoding."

Riku turns to Lily.
"It's your choice weither we call the cops or not Lily."

She turns to her father then at Riku.
"Don't. But."

She turns to her father. Only realising that she can't move that much because Ryuu's arms are loosely wrapped around her shoulders.

"If you come anywhere near me again! Then we will!"

Lily's father was trapped. The only thing he did was scoff and make his way to the door. Shintaro(Riku and Ryuu's father) moving to the side.

When he's finally gone, Lily falls into Ryuu's arms. Whimpering slightly. Ryuu embraces her. Holding her tightly.

The danger was done. And in the end, everyone. And I mean everyone showed up at the Itona household besides Brec and Bree for obvious reaons. But saying over the phone,"He would be in the hospital bed instead of me if I was there!"

Yume had to calm Subaru, Honoka, Asahi and Laura down when they saw the small bump he left on her head when he grabbed her hair.

Shiro clutching his fist so tight in anger that his nails drew a bit of blood.

In the end. The gang decided to spend the night at the household. Watching over the youngest member in their group.
