Subaru POV

I stare at the Kousaka family in disbelief and shock.

Yume lays on the couch. As Honoka gives orders to her family to help her.

"Mom. Bring me the blood packet."
"Alright!"
We were literally right around the corner from Honoka-San's home. So when she fainted all we did was carry her here and now we're all just staring at them in fear and shock as they work.

"Here!"
Honoka-San's mother comes back with this packet thing. She opens it and takes out this needle thing. My eyes widen in shock and I rush foreward but Honoka's little sister stops me.

"Stay here. If you want her to be fine let Onee-Chan do this."
She says with a stern face. I become less tense. But Yukiho-San's grip doesn't leave my arm.

I watch as Honoka places a little thing on the needle. She then uses her right hand to lift up Yume's left arm. She slowly inserts the needle into her arm.

I see Mahiru swiftly move her head sideways, and shut her eyes close. Her fists clutch and her face looks like she can't handle all this.

Yume's features look so different now. Her skin is more pale, and her face looks so drained out. My chest hurts so much seeing her like this.

"Mom I need her pills."
What the weird thing is, is that I have a feeling that even if Honoka was shouting her voice would still end up sounding so calm, and smoothing. And she concentrates hard on Yume.

Her mom comes from the hall and hands her a bottle. Honoka takes one in the palm of her hand. I step foreward and ask.
"How is she gonna take that if she's fainted!"

I say, trying to make my voice sound calm but it ends up sounding like I'm shouting at her.

"They're dissolving pills. They dissolve when they just get in her mouth with water, then they'll take effect."
I stare at her in disbelief.
"In case y'all are wondering how I'm doing this so calmly."-She turns her head to us. I notice that she's wearing a pink printed shirt with a white long sleeve shirt over it. With dark green shorts with brown boots.
"I've been doing this for over a year. I'm very used to this type of stuff happening."

My eyes widen in shock. I look down.

"When will she wake up?" I ask.
"In about thirty minutes to an hour. I suggest that y'all should get comfortable for now."

She slowly tries to pick up Yume, but I walk foreward and help her. Placing my right hand under Yume's head.

"Thank you."

We all sit in Honoka and Yume's room. I sit on a chair next to Honoka which Yume is laying on.

"Honoka-San?"
"Nani?"
She turns. She sits on a small stool by the door.
"Why........." I pause for a second. Then I open my mouth again.

"Why doesn't Yume go to school."

She looks down.
"I was afraid you or one of you were gonna ask that sooner or later......."

She turns to face all of us.

"Yume........refuses to go to school.......beacuse............. She thinks it's not worth her time anymore......."
"Why?"

"Beacuse.............becaus-"
Her voice breaks and her right hand flies to cover her mouth.

"I'm sorry......."
"It's okay........ You don't have to tell us if you don't want to." Koharu says.

Honoka-San doesn't say anything. She just nods her head, still staring at the ground.

I hear movement from behind me and quickly whip my head to where the sound was comming from, which was Yume.

I see her slowly trying to get up. Honoka-catching her do this-races to her side and places her hand on Yume's shoulder.

"Be careful. You can still hurt yourself." She says in a gentle caring voice.

Yume doesn't say anything. She just nods her head. She looks different now. Well for one her skin is no longer pale. But her strength seams to be drained from her. And her eyes also look very drained out.

The atmosphere is very weird. Like fear of worry. I try to change it.

"So Honoka?"
"Hm?" She turns to me.
"I heard that you're in high school."

She smirks and places her hands on her hips.
"Why yes I am. As a matter of fact I'm taking an extra year in high school to prepare me for college."
"Yeah you really need it. Rin told me once that both Kotori and Umi had to tutor you at the same time to prepare you for a test that you barley even passed." Yume says with something that looks like a smug face. Just without the smile.

Honoka's mouth drops.
"YUMEEEEE!!!"

I chuckle a bit. Then I start smirking.

"Well in that case I bet I'm smarter then you."
She turns to the side and gives me a death glare. Not to mention she looks extremely pissed off. She seams to be giving off a deadly aura....

(For example:)

I draw back.
Crap!

"Really. Are you saying that you, a person who's barley gonna start their second year in high school next mouth is smarter then me. A person who's taking an extra year so that when she enters college she'll know even more then what she's supposed to know."

I feel something like a lump in my throat. I swallow it thinking that it'll go away.

"N-No..."
I say in a quiet squeaky voice that basically gives away my fear.

"Good."

We hear a knock from the door. Yukiho-San walks in.

"Onee-Chan. Somebody's at the door. He wants to talk to you."

Honoka tilts her head in confusion. She closes her hands and places her left hand behind her neck and sighs.
"Okay."

When she leaves she closes the door.

"She's exhausted."
I turn around to see Yume talking. Her still look somewhat drained and a bit empty this time.

"I've been living with her for over a year. I can read the outside of her like book. Just like how she can to me."
"You two are that close huh?" I ask.
She shrugs.
"I guess."
Yume opens her mouth to say something.

"EHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
We whip our heads to the muffled sound.

"That was Honoka. I know that scream from surprise anywhere."

We hear footsteps racing on the ground. Honoka slams open the door in excitement.

"Are trying to break the door!" Yume yells.

"If I do it's not my fault!
"Anyway you remember about that boy I told you I was friends with when I was a kid!?"
"Yeaahh. What about him?"
"He's here!"
"What!?"

Hey guys! I feel like it's been forever for some reason. Also I'm sick;-;. But not the type of sick were I can barley walk and talk. It's just my stomach this time.

Is it just me or am I getting sick alot;-;. I didn't go tk school today tho.
(When I'm writing this it's Wednesday btw)
