At the office, Katsuna is working on a case. A group of people are suspected as they are selling drugs around Okinawa. Katsuna must plan an incursion into their place for her crew, which is at a harbor. She's investing the place with its graphic, but then Naval Captain Himoto comes in her office. Katsuna greets him : " Captain ! " and puts her hand over her forehead. " Free yourself, Sergeant Major of the Army, Ikanami ! ", said Himoto. Katsuna invites him some tea. 

" Sir, what brings you here ? ", said Katsuna. Naval Captain Himoto gives her a yellow file. " Lieutenant General Reimotsu requested me to help you with this incursion. I will help you with the force, as my crew are more skilled with aquatic incursions cases. Also, with my experience, I will help you to plan this incursion. ", said Himoto. 

Katsuna gives him her plan, which is still in complete. Naval Captain Himoto surprised with her work. She, although being a Sergeant Major, on land, made a perfect plan. " You surprised me. This plan is perfect. You, despite being a Sergeant Major, on land, are so good at aquatic incursions. Captain Kubashi is the one who raised you right ? He did a really great job. ", said Himoto. " Yes, he did. ", Katsuna replies, with such a prideful voice. Himoto then finishes the plan, as he will continue to do the rest of the job, Katsuna's duty is finish. " Captain, my crew, please take care of them ", Katsuna says, with a voice filled with concern. " Have faith in me, I won't fail you, Ikanami. ", Captain Himoto replies, with a smile on his face. " Then, here's my crew, all of them are very good. ", said Katsuna, who is giving Captain Himoto a file with some agents. Captain Himoto thanks her, as he leaves. 

Katsuna backs with her work, as advising the new soldiers in the courses and teaches them, guides them. This work brings Katsuna a lot of old memories, when Captain Kubashi receives her from the General. A little girl, 7 years old, whose eyes are filled with hopelessness and guilty. Captain Kubashi then looks at her, she was as tall as his waist does. Long, messy brown hair, falls of naturally. Captain Kubashi finds that she is a little filthy, so he wants to take her to her home first, so that they can start. "Little girl, where is your house?", asked Captain Kubashi. She points at a small, nasty house near by the training yard. A house, looks quite old, built in a old Japanese style. Kubashi leads her to the house that she pointed. The house is small, though it has a small yard in front. Captain Kubashi thinks : " Maybe General and the Government built this house just for her. Just a small cabin with a bathroom, a cushion, a blanket which won't be warm enough for winter in Japan, a bunch of clothes, small sized for the little ones in the army and a yard, only for her training purposes, otherwise for none. What were they thinking, a cruel way, full of blood, for a 7 years old girl? I cannot let her being ruined by their ambition. ". " Katsuna, is it ? Why don't you take a shower? Wait, do you know how to take a shower yourself ?" asked an awkward Kubashi. Luckily Katsuna knows how to bath herself. After she take a shower, Captain Kubashi teaches her. A life lesson, not a combat or battle lesson. He says : " Ikanami Katsuna, I won't teach you any combat or battle lesson yet. i will teach you to be yourself, I will teach you basic survival first. I will let you find your way, have your dream, I will teach you not to always kill, got it ? ". Katsuna replies : " Roger !".  

Back to the present 

Katsuna looks through the window. There're about 5 training courses, training in the yard. Then First Sergeant Magou comes in, along a small boy. " Sergeant Major of the Army ! ", he says. Katsuna frees him, along with the question : " Magou, who is this boy ? ". Magou replies :

- Sergeant Major of the Army, this boy is Juushi, an orphan. General Kamou wants you to in charge with this boy, to raise him. He said that you could lend him to the others if you wanted. 

- Since when the military and this organization adopts kids and try to turn them into killing machines ? - said Katsuna

- Lady Ikanami ? 

- Enough for this, Magou. We will lend him to Kibouri Orphanage. I want no more kids in the military, especially for this organization. That is my order. 

- Roger... - said a little concern Magou.

- Say louder next time, Magou. 

At this time, the General is Kamou Juushiki. Katsuna sees him as a cruel man, with no love and a disgusting man. But damn it he is great at leadership, and the Military needs him for occasions, so she cannot harms him, also he has a higher level than her, so she cannot be disrespectful towards him. " What was he thinking, having kids in the military? Am I not enough? Karma gets you! ", Katsuna thinks, with a little angry face. 

- Ah yes, by the way Sergeant Major of the Army, there's a special request from Colonel Haiki. - says Magou. 

- What is it?

- There's a thief from southern Kyoto, right at Genji museum. 

- Shouldn't that be the polices' job ?

- Miss, this is a special case. This thief, I heard it from the upper class that he's literally impossible to catch. They let you in charge with this one. 

- Any special requirements ?

- No crew added. 

- Ha...?

- In other words, you will be the only one who catches him. 

- Why ?

- Because they said that you were a special one and they thought that you won't need any helps.

- Wait...what... Okay, fine, got it. I will catch this guy.

- Then I'll report this to Colonel Haiki. 

Then Magou leaves. " I bet they're too lazy to catch this guy, now who is he ? ", thinks Katsuna, who is opening the small file that Magou gave her.

There's a A4 paper included. Katsuna takes it out, and reads it : " To the police, I will take the Emerald, 9:00 p.m. 7/4/2020. I hope you prepares to meet me out nice. ". " Well I had though for for a while that I won't let anyone catches you. We're just gonna remove the real emerald and then let you suffer from monophobia* to death -_- ", thinking Katsuna. But she's gonna catches him anyway.
