Chapter 63 (Content warning!)
(Hey! Just another quick content warning for you all! You've been warned!)
"Stop it!" Aurora begged, instantly regretting the movement from the shout. Everything hurt. Physically and mentally. She wanted everything to stop and go back to the way it was just a few weeks ago, instead of this... chaos.
"I said to leave him be! Why can't you just let him go if I cooperate?" She coughed, the talking bringing up more blood from before.
The one who had a grip on Peter, glared at her but saw the man with the knives, sharp look. "Let him go." He ordered.
The man hesitated but when the other spun the knife dangerously in his hand, he let go of Peter. "Why do you care?!" He demanded.
"I told her I'd leave him be, if she cooperated." He replied. "Besides, he's not going to get far if he tries anything."
The man grumbled but left Peter there to try to catch his breath and make his head stop spinning.
The knife man turned back to Aurora. "Because little spider, if we just... let him go when he's clearly in our grasp," He slammed the knife into the wall beside her, cracking the concrete. "The boss would kill us instead."
Little spider. That little nickname just enraged her. She hated it. She flinched and quickly moved away (as much as she could) from the knife.
The movement resulted in nothing but more pain shooting from her wounds. A pained groan escaped her lips and she stilled. She was still seeing double, and it felt like her head was full of fog. "Maybe get a better job. Unionize or some shit."
The man laughed. "Unionize?" He repeated. "Bold you to think we'd be able to even try that."
The other men laughed a bit as well. "She's a stubborn one, huh? Still talking despite everything?"
The man chuckled. "She is quite talkative." He agreed. "Oh, that's right, I was going to pull that mask off... why don't we do that real quick, hmm?"
He reached to grab hold of it but Peter tried to reach out to web his wrist only to get it yanked to aim away from him.
Peter made another pained gasp as they pulled his arm behind his back, the man tossing two of his cuffs to them and they cuffed his arms behind his back.
"Nice try, but we aren't stupid." One of them growled at Peter.
Strangely enough, her body felt cold. She could only assume it was the blood loss, or the clouded thoughts stemming from the blood loss. She scowled at the men and gritted her teeth, continuing to strain against the restraints.
Although it wasn't really getting her very far. She was slowly getting weaker anyway. "You sure fooled me... Got taken out by a trash lid-" She laughed tiredly.
The man snarled and started to approach her but the one with the knife shot him a look and he backed down.
He then looked at Aurora. "It was a metal object thrown with a lot of force. It would've knocked anyone out." He pointed out to her.
Peter noticed they were distracted and carefully shifted to try to get to his feet but startled when a blade slid past his shoulder, embedding into the concrete and grazing his arm.
"Sit down. I won't tell you again." The man told him and Peter reluctantly sat down up against the wall.
"Or you're just weak." She instigated. It wasn't like she was trying to piss them off intentionally. It was just that she wasn't exactly in her right mind at the moment. She aches everywhere, she was bleeding out all over her suit, and she was exhausted.
—
"Did you get the location?" Matt asked over the call. It was hard to tell, but from what he could hear through the phone, it sounded like Tony had taken off in his suit. He could only assume it was what he thought.
"Roughly. It's still a couple minutes out and it's not exact." He replied.
"That's to be expected with the cards we've been dealt." It wasn't easy, trying to pinpoint all of what was happening, especially with it being so far from his apartment.
"Unfortunately." Tony agreed as he kept an eye out for any signs of them.
Kasey was curled up in Claire's lap on the bed, clinging to her like a life line as she cried. Claire rubbed her back and just spoke quiet and soft reassurances.
—
One of the men moved to throw a punch at her but the knife man grabbed their wrist and aimed the knife at their throat.
"Don't."
They stared at him in shock and after a tense moment he pulled away with a grumble.
The knife man looked at her. "Keep saying shit like that and I won't be able to keep them away from you."
They heard a van pull up and back into the alley way, effectively sealing the six of them inside.
The door popped open an a few more guys stepped out. "Well, what'd ya know... you weren't kiddin'."
The knife man rolled his eyes. "Just helped detain them and we'll get out of here before someone else shows up."
"Maybe I want them to come after me so I can shove that trash lid where the sun doesn't-" She slowed to a stop, rolling her head to the side as the van started backing in.
Shit-
She had hoped someone, anyone would come and find them before it had gotten here. Once they were taken to a secondary location, it would be over. God how she wished Peter wouldn't have come! Then at least the corporation wouldn't have two of the three spiders. It could've just been her.
Peter looked over when the van showed up and felt his stomach drop. This is really, really bad- He carefully and slowly started to try to get the cuffs off his wrists but couldn't figure out a weak point so he just started trying to bend them but that wasn't doing much either and just hurt his wrists more than anything.
The men talked amongst themselves, discussing how to transport them and looking at some of the tech they brought with them that Peter really wasn't interested in finding out what they did. So he took the deepest breath he could without choking and forced himself to leap up, pulling his arms under his legs and landing back on his feet but collapsed from the pain in his leg.
He gasped as he gripped at it, noticing their attention turning to him and before they could reach him, he broke the cuffs off his wrists with a strong yank and snapped the handle of the knife in his leg off and webbing it up. He pushed to his feet as they ran at him but made a strained cry as he felt another knife dig into his left thigh, sending him back to the ground.
His head was spinning when he hit the ground, coughing up more blood as he struggled for breath. He felt them restrain him again, his web shooters were taken and they cuffed his arms together in thick metal restraints. They covered his hands and most, if not all, of his forearms.
"Stupid spider. You're lucky we don't just kill you." One of them snarled at him but Peter's ears were ringing and he was barely staying awake.
—
Matt heard a quiet, strange sound from far away, but couldn't make out what it was from. It wasn't a pleasant sound, that much he could tell. "You might want to speed it up."

Aurora watched the men speak amongst themselves, trying to think of anyway out. If she could just grab one of them, maybe she'd be able to shock them. Though she didn't know if that would help or hurt them more.
She wasn't watching Peter when he acted, but it wasn't long before he caught her attention. She turned her head sharply, watching in hope that he'd somehow escape, only for it to be crushed. His cry sounded broken, and it crushed her to hear it.
"You.. assholes!" She growled out, wishing more than anything that she could rip them apart. Her muscles were heavy and damn did they hurt, but she'd push past that in a heartbeat to put those men down.
—
"I'm trying." Tony hissed a bit at him. Five minutes. Five minutes too long.
---
"Save your breath, Princess." One of them replied to her, with a roll of their eyes.
Two of them more or less dragged Peter over to the van while another two came over to help restrain Aurora.
The knife man hesitated for a moment. "She'll likely try to take a swing." He warned them, before removing a single one of the cuffs from her wrist.
She did indeed take a swing but they grabbed hold of it and got it into the cuff and did the same for the other.
The knife man watched them make sure it was secured. "Make sure you have a good hold on her." He told them and they grabbed hold of her and with a press of the button, the other two cuffs fell away and the magnets turned off dropping her into their arms.
—
Matt felt awful. This cursed leg had kept him from going out there and doing his job. Now all he could do was wait and listen. He just knew he never wanted to feel like this ever again.
-•-
Aurora watched them take Peter, cursing herself for all of it. Her first attempt at swinging at them failed, but she quickly tried to devise a new plan.
Everything hurt, and her vision seemed to be darkening. At this point, she believed she was running on pure adrenaline. She just hoped it would last a little longer. A whimper sounded from her as she dropped into their arms, the sudden movement jolting the blades in her body.
She decided to give it all one last go. She hoped they hadn't planned for much more than her strength with the cuffs on her hands. Starting low, she felt her fingers begin to tingle and spark. She put her all into this last attempt, cranking the energy output to as high as she could. Using her legs she tried to kick away from the men as well.
—
Tony pushed for any remaining unused juice in his suit, trying to go faster. Three minutes.
---
They all cried out in surprise, the knife man stepping away, unharmed. But the other two got zapped, one worse then the other and that one, the one who called her princess, collapsed, letting go of her causing the other to drop her as well, dropping her towards the ground, facing forward.
She was about to hit the ground and it would have been incredibly painful- Had the knife man not caught her.
"You really do have a death wish, don't you?" He asked her, an eyebrow raised. "That probably would've done it." He carefully resituated her to carry her in his arms over to the van.
They'd already fully secured Peter and he had passed out, his head hanging limply in front of him. There was a device around his ankle, blinking a soft red light.
—
Matt bit the inside of his cheek, straining his ears to hear anything. There was another cry, but it didn't sound like a teenager's.
-•-
Aurora panted slowly, her body feeling heavy around itself. She no longer had the energy to fight against the knife man, as her last bit of energy had been used on trying that last trick.
Her eyes were steadily growing heavier, despite her refusing to fall under. Her hope had dwindled as well, as they closed in on the van. She spotted the device on Peter's angle, squinting her eyes as she tried to figure out what it was. She gave up trying to think shortly after.
—
Two minutes- almost there.
---
She felt him place one around her ankle as well once he sat her down and started to secure her, not letting the others near her. He chuckled softly watching her fight to stay awake. "You're stubborn, you know that?" He asked her. "But don't worry. We'll get those knives out of you when we get there." He told her, finishing securing her where she wouldn't move too much during the drive.
The others cleaned the area up and hopped in the van and they headed off, easily sliding into the traffic as if they hadn't just snatched two spiders off the street.
Cmon, get there. Matt prayed he'd get there before anything severe happened to the kids.
