Caitlin's POV

It has been a week since Jay came to earth one and not only that but it's been a week since that almost kiss with Barry. Neither one of us had mentioned it.

"Hey Caitlin" I hear Jay say behind me

"Hey" I respond turning around in my chair to face him

"I have been observing you guys for a while now and you are very smart"

"Thanks. But we are all pretty smart here"

"Yeah but you are the only Doctor which makes you smarter than the rest" Jay says with appreciation in his voice

"Thanks"

"So do you know a good place to have lunch?" Jay asks

"Definitely Big Belly Burger"

"Okay...Do you wanna come with me?" He ask catching me by surprise

Did I just get asked out?

"Sorry i can't" I told him without trying to sound like i was lying

"It's cool Cait....Can i call you that?" Jay asks turning around before walking out the door

"I prefer Caitlin"

I only let Barry call me that, but i didn't want to sound rude. It's just Cait is kinda a name for people who have known me for more than a week.

"Ok see you later" Jay says walking out

I turned back around to finish what i was doing but i was so caught up in my thoughts. I started to think of Barry and what would've happened if we weren't interrupted. Kissing him last week would have been perfect, the way he would put his hand on my cheek...how gently he would start to kiss me at first, it would start to get heated. I would feel his tongue lick the bottom of mine asking for and way in and i would gladly let him. He would bite my lip.....

"Cait?" I hear Barry say snapping me out of my little daydream

"Oh sorry Barry i was just thinking" I quickly say trying to hide the embarrassment

"Well i was just wondering how you were doing? Because i have been trying to get your attention" Barry says walking closer to me

"I was just thinking about zoom"

"Don't worry we will catch him, and it will be easier now that Jay is here" Barry says trying to cheer me up

Later that evening...

"So how do we figure out where this zoom guy is?" Cisco asks as we are all sitting in the cortex

"I don't know. How did this guy even get his speed, let alone the ability to send meta to other earths?"

"Same as i did.....Harrison Wells" Jay exclaims

"What?"

"Harrison created and particle accelerator similar to the one here, when it exploded on my earth it gave both of us our speed" Jay explains

"Even after he is dead he is still ruining my life"

"Barry all he did was create the accelerator, its not his fault it exploded...unlike your wells he wasn't trying to kill you" Jay says trying to make Barry feel better but it wasn't working

I see Barry walk out and go into the hallway, so i decide to follow him.

"Wells killed him Mom and tried to kill him" I hear Cisco say to Jay as I'm walking to find Barry

I walk into the hallway to see Barry crouched down on the floor:

"Hey you okay?" I ask crouching down along with him

"No. I thought he would finally be out of my life. And now i have to deal with zoom who for some reason has a grudge against me"

"Barry zoom is clearly out to get you and no matter what happens we will all be here for you. I promise we will stop him"

"How did i get so lucky?" Barry says standing up and pulling me into a hug

"I feel pretty lucky too now do you mind giving me a ride home?" I ask as we both let go of each other

"Sure let's go" Barry say picking me up

I feel a gush of wind as he is running, he eventually stops right on my front porch. He sets me down so I'm able to unlock my door

"Hey thank you for everything and don't hesitate to call if you need me to stay over" Barry says as he is about to leave

"I will, Thanks Barry" I say just before he runs off

The next morning....

Barry's POV

I have noticed that Jay has been spending a lot more time with Caitlin. I don't trust him that much. And now things have gotten much worse since there had been a new guest at S.T.A.R labs.

"So you're from earth 2?"

"Yes i came to help you fight zoom" Harrison explains

Caitlin,Cisco, and I all exchanged looks.

"You already know?" Harry questions

"He has been sending metas here to try and kill me" I explain to him

"Jay is here and he kinda explained who he was" Cisco says looking him up and down

"What are you doing here!" Jay yells storming in

"I'm here to help him defeat zoom. Something you couldn't do! What are you doing here anyways? To scared to face him yourself?" Harry yells towards Jay

"I got pulled here by the singularity"

"No matter what happened....we still need to figure out who zoom is and how to stop him" Caitlin intervenes both of the guys

"Fine, I will be back" Harry says walking out

"This is going to be great" Cisco say depressed

I had to get out of here. I can't believe someone who looks just like the man who took my mom's life is going to be here trying to save mine. I walk into the medical room for some space. As I'm pacing i see Caitlin come over to me.

"You okay?" Cait asks with sympathy in her voice

"Would you be? Every time i look at him i can picture my mom dying over and over again" I explained to her

"Come here" Caitlin gestures me into a hug which i gladly accept

We stay like that for a few minutes until someone finally interrupts us.

"I will come back later" Cisco says with a huge smile on his face

"So Barry do you wanna come over tonight and watch a movie....i bet that will make you feel better" Caitlin suggests

"Of course"

Later that night...

Caitlin's POV

I started cleaning up my house because tonight is the night I'm finally gonna tell him how i feel. I hear the door and i quickly change into something cute and a little more reveling than my usual pajamas. I opened the door to see Barry

"Hi Barry"

"Hey Cait"
