"Dad your gonna be okay" I whisper to him as i watch unconscious on the hospital bed

"How is he doing?" Cisco asks who is now in the room with me

"No change. Zoom broke him" I explain to him

"I'm sorry man" He says as i feel his hand on my shoulder

"Where is Caitlin?" I ask

"Outside with Joe, Iris, and Harry. They are trying to figure out a way to find zoom"

"I already figured it out...I'm gonna make a deal with him. He wants to be the fastest speedster than lets seem him try. I will race him, if i win he will leave forever and never come back and if i lose i will give my speed to him" I explain

"No! That is not how this is gonna work. Do you see what zoom did to your father! Do you remember what her did to you. How stupid can you be?" Joe yells towards me

"I can't let him get away with this. I won't lose. I have a plan" I tell him getting up from my seat and facing both him and Cisco

"Barry you can't" Caitlin says pushing past both men and walking towards me

"I have to. But i need to talk to Harry first" I explain walking out and over to Harry

I decided to only tell Harry my plan and he agreed that it could possibly work. I hope it does.

"Go now. But hurry back" Harry says just before i walk out of the hospital

Caitlin's POV

"Where is Barry?" I ask

"Getting something"

"Where is he Harry" Cisco asks

"He isn't here. He ran off to go and get something that could stop zoom. He will be back later" Harry explains

"What is he planning?" I ask once again

"You will have to wait and see"Harry says walking off leaving me very confused

a few hours later...

Barry's POV

I just got back and i think i have everything planned. Now all i have to do is tell the rest of the group so they can help me prepare for what is about to happen...well if Harry hasn't already. I walk into to S.T.A.R labs to see everyone standing around waiting for me.

"Where did you go?" Cisco asks

"I went to the past to grab something that could help us defeat zoom" I explain

"Then where is it? Where is this thing you ran back in time to get?" Caitlin asks walking closer to me

"Everything will work out i promise"

I can tell by the faces everyone is giving me that they aren't so sure but that doesn't matter, this is gonna work out and everything will be okay.

"Cisco i need to and Harry to build a raceway type machine that can track how fast we are both going as we are running on it. It needs to go around in a circle" I explain to both Cisco and Harry as i take Caitlin's hand in mine

"We will get right on it"

"Now what do you need me to do?" Caitlin asks facing me

"Do you trust me?"

1 hour later...

I have tried to figure out a way to get zoom here but nothing have worked. I know that he is watching us from somewhere and he knows i want him here. So i do the only logical thing i could do, i understand this might be going a bit far by hey...she said she would do it.

"This has to be done" I say holding Caitlin bridal style over the edge of the building. I quickly drop her, i look to see she is falling to the ground. I start t panic once i realize that nothing is happening...then i see it. A streak of blue lighting. I look down to see Caitlin safely in jay's arms. Thank god.

I run down to see Jay gently set her down on the ground

"You know there is better ways of getting me here than throwing your girlfriend off a building! What if i didn't show up!? Jay yells towards me

"There wasn't i needed you here"

"What do you want Barry?" Jay asks

"A race to prove who is the fastest speedster"

"Why? You know I'm gonna win" Jay says rather confident

"Maybe, But i have a deal for you...if i win you will leave forever and if you win i will give you my speed"

I look over to see Caitlin speechless about what just came out of my mouth, probably still trying to get a handle of me throwing her off a building

"Fine. I will be here tomorrow night. Better prepare yourself Allen because this city is gonna be mine" Jay says before running off back into a portal leaving me an Caitlin

"Are you okay?" I ask pulling her in for a tight hug

"Well my boyfriend just threw me off a building and an evil speedster is threatening to take over our city...seems normal to me" She replies with a little humor causing both of us to laugh

"Come on we should go help Cisco and Harry with the track" I tell Caitlin picking her up and running in the building

The next morning...

"Barry how could you make a deal like that? How do you know you can beat him?" Joe asks

"Because i have a plan"

"I know. What is this great plan that you will only let Harry know about?" Iris asks now entering the room with both of us

"You all will find out. Now i need to train for tonight: I tell them running in the next room

As i start running on the treadmill i see my beautiful girlfriend enter the room

"How come you won't tell me the plan?" I hear her ask as i slow the treadmill down

"Cait you know i want to but...i can't" I explain to her

"I trust you...just please be careful, i can't lose someone else i love " She whispers pulling me into a hug.

"I will"

Later that night...

I wait in the parking lot where the track has been recently finished, along with the rest of the team standing by. My plan is simple...i decide to go back in time and convince my past self to give up his life in order to put zoom in the speed force. Hopefully we will all be going fast enough for the speed force to open, a time wraith should come out a get one of us...that's when i will push Jay in. Simple. Right?

I stand by to see a breach open and a blue streak run at me

"You ready flash?" Zoom asks in his usual evil voice

"Let's do this"

Cisco and Harry built us a large ring and we have to run until one of us start conducting more electricity than the other...or until someone gets tired of running. Which is very unlikely. We get in position and get ready to race.

"Go!" Cisco yells

We both begin running as fast as we can around the track. I can see the different lighting coming from both of us, it seems he is faster than me...or so he thinks. As i am am running i look over to the faces of my friends, all having nervous looks but as i look out i see the speed force beginning to open. I start to run as fast as i possibly can but Jay quickly catches up with me causing the breach to open more.

"Barry get ready!" Harry yells

I look over to my left to see the other Barry running on the other side of me. I quickly see the other Barry push zoom towards the time wraith that had just flew out of the speed force, causing the time wraith to grab Jay pulling me and my past self into the speed force.

I stop running just in time to see the time wraith tear Jay's body limp from limb

"Nooo!" Jay yells just as the breach closes

I look over to everyone, it appears they are all on the verge of tears. I can see the happy looks on everyone's faces...i did it. I actually did it. I run over to see them.

"Barry you a genius!" Cisco yells

"Thank god your okay" Caitlin says pulling me i for a tight hug

"Good Job Barry" Joe says placing his hand on my shoulder as Caitlin finally lets go of me

"I think we need to celebrate"
