Caitlin's POV

"So are you excited for tonight" I hear Barry whisper in my ear

"Yes we have been dating for like a week and i think its time for a date...just you and me"

"I love you...you know that?" Barry says putting his arms around me

"I had no idea...why don't you tell me" i say turning around to face him

"I love you so much that i would give up my speed to be with you. I love you so much that i would crawl to the ends of the earth just to be with you...i love you so much"

It surprised me how much he actually loved me. He made this huge declaration of love and all i can do is try to show i would do the same

"Thank You" I say before giving him a quick kiss. It soon turned more heated, more passionate. i felt him bite my bottm lip causing me to open my mouth

"Not that i wouldn't want to continue this but i need to get to work and you need to get to S.T.A.R labs. We should have been there 20 minutes ago" Barry says pulling me out of the house

Way to ruin the moment

I feel Barry pick me up and run me over to teh lab. I see Cisco as me and Barry walk into the cortex.

"Now that you two are dating you tend to be late a lot more often"

"Well Cisco if you had a beautiful girlfriend who you want to spend all of your time with...you can be late"

I can feel my cheeks getting warm when i hear him say that about me.

"Okay i get it.. Now get out of here before i puke" Cisco says with a disgusting yet supportive look on his face.

"I'm going...Cait i will come by in a couple hours. Call me if there are any metas" Barry says giving me one last kiss goodbye

I quickly stop him before he can leave to give him one last kiss

"What was that for" He asks with a confused look on his face

"Something to last you a few hours" I whisper causing him to start blushing as well

I see Barry run out, i turn around to see Cisco staring at me

"And i thought Felicity and her boyfriends were bad" Cisco remarks

"I am in love Cisco. This is what happens when people are in love" I say taking a seat next to him

"You happy?" He asks

"Absolutely"

The Police Station...

I just came from the most beautiful women in the world, i get to see her in a couple of hours and take her on a date tonight. She will look beautiful even more beautiful than usual. Nothing can ruin this day.

"Well you look happy today" Joe says walking into my lab

"Life is wonderful. And now that i have Caitlin everything will be great...especially tonight. I am taking her out on our first date" I tell Joe as i can feel the excitement inside

"Did you tell Iris?"

" What do you mean?" I ask a bit confused

"Remember you were supposed to help her with her article tonight. Did you forget?" Joe asks looking at me like i should have remembered

I totally forgot i promised to help her on her flash article. She wanted me to tell her about zoom and all of the metas i have been fighting lately

"It's our first date...She will understand. Right?" I ask looking at Joe who has just a straight face on

"I hope so" Joe says walking out

I decided to give her a call and tell her that we can do it some other time

Ring Ring

"Hello? Iris I need to talk to you"

"Go ahead"

"I can't help you tonight i have a date with Caitlin" I tell her hoping she won't be upset

"You and Caitlin? I didn't think you guys were so serious"

"Well we are i hope it's okay that we cancel tonight?" I ask

"Sure go ahead" She says before quickly hanging up

Well now that that is out of the way i think it's time to actually doing my job

A couple hours later...

Caitlin's POV

"Jay...All we have to do is close the rest of the breaches" I try explaining to him

"That won't stop him. Nothing can" Jay says back

"Yeah i know" Cisco says depressed

"Way to have confidence you guys" Barry says cheerfully walking into the cortex

"Hey i didn't think you would be back so soon" I say walking over to him

"One of the advantages of having super speed now come on i am taking you for lunch" Barry says taking my hand a leading me down the hall

I can not wait for tonight...

Later that night...

It's nearly the time for my date with Barry. I don't know where he is taking me but i know it will be amazing.

"His favorite color is blue. Right" I ask Felicity over the phone

"Yes. Now would you stop worrying, Now Oliver is back call me and tell me all about it later"

"I will" I quickly hang up and take a look at myself in the mirror. I decided to wear a deep blue dress that goes to my knees

I take a look in the mirror one last time before going out to the living room to wait for Barry.

Barry's POV

I take one last look in the mirror before heading downstairs to grab my jacket, i see Iris on the couch reading.

"Hey I'm sorry to cancel on you"

"Barry it's fine just go on your date" Iris says not looking at me

I decide to leave it at that. It was time to head out to Caitlin's house.

10 minutes later...

I walk up to her door preparing for what i am about to say and what i am about to see. I knock and wait for her to answer

"Barry Allen on time. I never thought i would see this" Caitlin says in a joking matter

I find myself staring at her beauty, the way her red curls fall around her neck, her deep blue dress that fits her body perfectly.

"Cait...you look beautiful" I can barely get the words out

"Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself" She says walking out and locking the door behind her

"So you ready?" I ask sticking my hand out

"Absolutely"

I drove her over to the place where the boats dock.

"Barry are you taking me on a boat?" She asks

"Technically it's a yacht, i borrowed it from Oliver. Hopefully i won't sink like the last boat he took a ride on" I joke causing both of us to laugh

We got on and the captain led us over to the dining room. We enter to see a single table set with sparkling lights everywhere and a chandelier above it.

"Barry it's beautiful" Caitlin expresses as she begin to walk to the table

"Not as beautiful as you" I say pulling her seat out for her as she takes a seat"

We order our food and drinks and begin talking about our lives and our interests. I found out what her favorite color is and what she likes to watch on TV. I know it doesn't seem like much, but i am glad i am learning so much about her. I told her about my life growing up and everything i liked. I love knowing more about this beautiful women sitting before me.

"Barry did it hurt to get struck by lightning?" She asks

"Yes at first but then i just saw darkness. I am glad it happened or i would have never met you" I take her hand in mine and i lead her to the front of the boat so we can look over the water

"Oh Barry. Tonight has been perfect" She says before giving me a kiss

I instantly kiss her back, but something was on my mind

"Cait, now that were in a relationship. I think i should tell you something" I say getting a bit nervous

"Barry i love you...you can tell me anything" She replies grabbing my waist pulling me closer

"When we went out for karaoke, i took you home and you kinda..." I start to say

"Kinda what? What did i do?" She asks confused

"You started stripping in front of me" I confess

"Wow...Well that proves i shouldn't get drunk. Thanks for telling me" She says a bit surprised

"Your not mad?"

"No. i was drunk but i am surprised that you didn't stop me. I was your best friend and you were looking at me practically naked" She says surprised but i little but upset

"Hey in my defense i had a crush on you and i did eventually turn around. But you did look pretty good" I tell her but end up getting hit across the chest

We both stood there laughing as the boat began to dock

"Let's get off this boat...I want to take you home. Maybe you can strip for me once again and maybe i won't have to turn around" I whisper in her ear as we are getting off the boat

"In your dreams" She finally says hitting me in the arm once again.
