Barry's POV

Something weird is going on...i have been losing my speed and i don't know why.

"Okay Barry run as fast as you can on the treadmill" Caitlin says to me on the other side of the glass window

I feel the ground move below my feet and i begin to run but i feel slower

"Faster Barry" Cisco yells towards me

I try to move faster but i don't know i still feel like I'm not going as fast as i can. The treadmill starts to slow down and i can see the confusion coming from both Caitlin and Cisco

"OK Barry maybe you should rest for awhile" Cisco says walking out

"Hey you okay?" Caitlin asks walking over to me

"I am now" I grab her and pull her close to me, i lean in for a kiss but she stops me

"Hey i have a question"

"Okay what is it?"

"Why haven't you taken me on a date. We have been dating for like a week and you haven't even asked me out?"

"Your right"

I get down on one knee and take her hand in mine, i see her face and she looks surprised

"Caitlin Snow will you..." I start to say but get interrupted by Cisco

"Whoa what are you doing! You realize you guys have been dating for a few days right?" Cisco questions us

"Calm down man i am not asking her to marry me. Caitlin Snow will you go on a date with me?" I ask as i see her face begin to calm down

"I would love to"

I stand up and turn to face Cisco

"You know i am gonna go" Cisco says walking out

"So how about tomorrow night?" I suggest

"That sounds perfect"

"Great now i am going to see if Cisco is alright" Caitlin says as she walks out

Now that that is taken care of it's time to figure out what is causing my speed to slow down

Later that day...

"So this guy started attacking people...i chose to call him tar pit. Get it because he is practically tar" Cisco explains laughing at his name

"Okay so tar pit? That's what were calling him...so he attacked Daniel Burge. Do we have any idea on who is doing this?" I ask

"Not yet but this guy has been connected to an underground drag racing...so I'm guessing that one of the people he pissed off did this to him" Caitlin assumes

"Not endless one of them is a meta"

Ring Ring

"Barry there is an attack downtown" Cisco yells running over to the computer

I quickly rush out and head over to see tar pit standing before a man

"Hey clay remember me...i remember you and your buddy holding me over a tar pit and dropping me in. Well news flash I'm alive and i decide it was tie to get a little revenge for what you put me through" Tar pit says quickly making his hands into tar

"I killed you Joseph" I quickly grab clay and run his to a different part of town , when i get back i see that tar pit is gone

At S.T.A.R labs...

"He just disappeared i have no idea where he went"

"Well i have an idea..." Caitlin says walking over to the computer

"There has to be a reason why Joseph went after both of these guys, not just because they killed him. When i look up there names and seems they are both involved in the underground drag race. If Clay is gonna be there i would check there first" Caitlin explains

"You are perfect"

I see her blush in the cutest fashion as i lean down to kiss her but no before Joe walks in

"Barry i need you to go and get Iris. She is at the drag race doing research for her article and i can't get a hold of her" Joe explains

"Barry you need to hurry, if that is where Clay went I'm sure that tar pit will show up" Cisco says

I quickly run and grab my suit

"Be careful, i found out that since everything has an opposite so does tar. Water...the water dissolves it somehow" Cisco explains before

I begin to run down there when i hear Cisco and Caitlin talking about me through my earpiece

"How is this possible. It's like his speed is getting drained every time he runs" I over hear Cisco

When i get there i see Iris being yelled out by Clay Parker.

"You don't belong here. Now leave before i make you" He yells towords her grabbing her arm

Before i can get there i see the ground start moving below me and the the drivers. AS car begin tipping over i quickly race to get the drivers inside. I run over to Iris and take her back to the lab, but before i go back Cisco hands me a bomb to throw at tar pit. I get back to see tar pit standing before clay once again, and all the drivers gone.

"Sorry for the mess but your buddies were kinda in my way" Tar yells just before throwing tar at my me

I quickly dodged all of his shot, i took my chance when he wasn't looking to throw the bomb at him. It destroyed his form all that left is an unconscious man laying on the ground. I run him back to S.T.A.R labs and put him in the cell. I walk out o the cortex to see harry standing in the middle facing all of them.

"Whats going on?" I question everyone

"I don't know. Harry said he had something to tell everyone" Iris explains

"Is it how we closed the first breach?" i ask

"No..It's this" Harry says as he walks over to my suit taking off the the emblem and reveling some sort of device

"What's that?" Cisco asks

"It's a machine i used to drain your speed everytime you ran. I have been gathering it up so i can give it to zoom" Harry explains

"You did what!" I approach him

I see Joe quickly take Harry by the arm and walk him over to one of he cells downstairs, i don't know what he was trying to accomplish but now i know that zoom will do anything for my speed even use the people closest to me.

" I can't believe he did that but wow...this device is amazing" Cisco say studying it

"Well now that we know what zoom is trying to do we can figure out a way to stop him. But first we need to close the breaches" Caitlin explains

"Yea. Well now we are gonna head home. You coming Barry you haven't been home all week" Iris asks

"Maybe later" I say as i put my arm around Caitlin

"So what do you want to do tonight" I ask

"let's watch a movie" She suggest

I pick her up and run her over to her house. We both walk in and take a seat on the couch. She turns the TV on to see maze runner playing.

"The maze runner?" I ask

"Yeah don't you remember what happened last time we watched this movie" Caitlin says

"So what have you got planned for our date tomorrow?"

"I'm not telling you" I tell her as i see the saddest in her eyes

"Fine be that way" Caitlin says taking her eyes away from me and onto the movie

"Can you at least tell me what i am going to wear?"

I look at her not answering the question because she should know the answer

We watch the movie from beginning to end and when i look over i see Caitlin has fallen asleep on the shoulder. I pick her up and take her to bed. I decide not to sleep yet since it wasn't that late so i went out to the living room to watch the TV. After a while i see Caitlin walk out.

"Hey you realize it the 3 in the morning right?"

"Yeah i just wasn't tired" I say pulling her next to me

I wish i woke up next to you" she says kissing me

I kiss her back but more passionately, i begin to pull her on top of me not disconnecting her lips. I hear her moan as my hand begins to explore her body. Just as i start to pull off her shirt she stops me.

"What is it?" I ask

"This couch is not comfortable...take me to the bedroom" She whispers as she starts to kiss my neck. I run her to the bedroom to finish what we started, eventually we both drift off to sleep wrapped in each other's arms.
