Chapter 34: Turning tables

''I will kill myself and my baby if you force yourself on me..'' She meant each and every word she spoke.

''How dare you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'' He grabbed her shoulder in his tight grip.

''Dare to harm yourself I will burn everything including you whoever dare to separate us..you are mine..Samjhi tum!!!!!!!''

''I love you, can't you see that..'' He was loosing his patience.

''What kind of love you have that only cause me pain..''

''I think you need a little demonstration. May be you will realize the depth of my love..'' There was a new wave of aggression in him.

With that he grabbed her body with such a force that made her difficult to move. He pull her underneath him and look into her eyes with his deadly glare, conveying her she only belong to him no one else.

''Now who will save you from me..'' She went horrified when he buried his head and started to kiss her neck without caring about her approval. He didn't gave damn to her scream and struggle. Monster resurface him and were almost ready to take everything from her. He ripped her clothes and she let him do that giving up the fight. She was laying numb.

''You were wrong..you can't desire a heart..a person like you never value it..'' He smirked devilishly.

She was angry, disgust on himself because this person had reached a place inside her within matter of seconds. His eyes were fixed on her and his body was working on her.

''I able to reach your mind and very soon I will reach your heart and soul..'' Slowly he opened the knot while every inch of her body pressed with his.

No!!!!!!!! Khushi woke up with sweat on her forehead. She was startled with the terrified dream she just experienced. From the loss she just witnessed. Endless tears were streaming down her face. Her heart sank with this nightmare getting into reality. She grabbed her head with both hands to control the throbbing pain. It was getting hell painful. She got up and throw everything on the floor not getting any other source to let it all out. But nothing was giving her peace. The pain was slowly spreading all over body like a poison. There is only one thing that may gave her relief from all kinds of pains.

With that single thought in her mind, she rose from her feet and began to search something in her cupboard. After a while of finding maniacally, she got hold of alcohol bottle in the corner of a shelf. Only thing that can erase her pain from time being.

''I won't be able to bear it..'' She cry and then dreadful silence filled her room. She remove the lid of bottle and went to gulp it. But suddenly a crying voice from inside halted her act. She clenched her fist in sheer anger as this feeling of motherhood had a deep connection with her life.

Throwing the bottle on the floor, She kneel down and burst into tears.

''Why god why?????'' Hearing the sound of glass, Arohi woke up and came rushing into her room.

''Di what happen to you..?'' She switch on the night and went running toward her. Khushi was sitting in a corner staring on the floor. Arohi try to touch her.

''Don't come near me..'' Khushi shouted with shaking voice making her to step back in fear. She is not looking in her proper sense. Anyhow she made her lay on the bed and try to made her relax giving her sedatives. Pain was evident on her face even though she was in her slumber.

''Why you did this to me Arn--..'' Arohi's legs halted when she heard her soft muffle voice. But unfortunately she couldn't able to heard that monster name who is the reason of all her pains and miseries.

''Who is he?'' She asked her but there is no reply from other end.

Arohi was feeling extremely distraught looking at her broken state. She wanted to help her but not knowing what to do. From past few days, she does notice some drastic changes in her.

''Was he back in her life?'' A doubt arise in her mind. What is she hiding? Why no one telling her truth? Many questions was revolving in her mind. When she make sure her sister went in deep slumber, She went to checked her wardrobe and cupboard. A small sign that may lead her toward that man. She wanted to know who destroy her life and why her condition deteriorating day by day. She was trying to search any clue about that man by checking every damn corner. To her bad luck, She got nothing that can be beneficial.

''Ofcourse why should she keep his awful memories with her when it only prick her..'' She collected all the things to kept in the places so that her Di wouldn't found it suspicious. Putting Khushi's clothes inside, she turn to close her wardrobe when something fell on the floor. She knelt and grabbed it in her hand to view it. There was a greeting card when she open it. It look like someone had gifted her. But why she still keeping that jerk's gifts with her till now. A sudden rage develop inside her for that person. Just once she get to know his name she would not going to spare him and made his life hell just like he did with her sister.

She observe the card keenly and there she saw a shredded photographs of a man with khushi inside.

''TO MY PREGNANT GIRLFRIEND..'' Written in bold letters.

There was a gift along with card Arnav gave her when he confessed his feelings to her for the first time. Along with that, he made Photoshop of their journey in London to relive their old memories but khushi destroy everything in anger.

Arohi look at a photo of a man with Khushi trying to recognize him. But his face brutally torn by sketched pen.

Damn! She throw it back on the place and raked her hand in frustration. Something click her mind.

''That mean he is still contacting Di!'' That was a sudden blow for her.

''He is from this city and Di is meeting him? Who is he?'' She was getting restless.

''How dare he!'' Now she understand why her Di now-a-days looking so depressed and tensed. Even in evening when she return back, she saw her in shaken state. Does he try to harm her? She look at her Di with lot of question in her mind.

''I need to find him..'' She sighed with determination and plant a soft kiss on khushi's forehead.

''Enough is enough now. Until I am alive that monster will never able to harm you and your baby..You had suffered enough Di. Its high time his real face exposed in front of everyone..'' She wipe the tear that rolled from the corner of khushi's eyes unconsciously.

''How are you, baby..'' Aman rolled his eyes annoyed hearing her voice on other end at the middle of the night. He rubbed his eyes.

''I am missing you so much..its so boring here..You know that good for nothing dadi and puja ki dukaan Anjali has made me nurse to look after Asr..Everytime I had to take care of his needs..''

''How many time I had to remind you don't call me at this time what if Asr wake up..''

''Chill sweetheart! You are worrying unnecessary..he is right in front of me under sedative effects..'' Lavanya said brushing Asr hairs while he was in deep slumber.

''If you are done with your stupid talk, kindly spare me and let me sleep..'' She frowned.

''I am observing now a days you are not giving me attention..do you got another girl to entertain you..''

''Mind your language..'' With greeted teeth.

''I know every night you only think about that girl, Arohi..Don't tell you started developing soft corner for her..'' His eyes widen in shock. He don't understand why she always taunt him bringing Arohi in between when he had nothing to do with her. He respect her and no way he is going to use her as his pawn as per lavanya wanted him to do.

''Tell me the truth..Did you sleep with her..?''

''Just shut up!!!!!!!'' If she was in front of him, he would definitely smack her face.

''Baby relax..its okay I don't mind if you get intimate with her. After-all it was a part of your plan. More you get close to her, more I will get peace because at the end it will only cause pain to khushi seeing her sister being used like it all happened to her.

''You know Lavanya you are sick..'' Angrily, he disconnect the call.

''Did you see Asr your most loyal and sincere employ, my boyfriend Aman falling in love with my biggest enemy's sister. Anyways its good for our relationship I know where and how to use my trump card..'' She smirked as she already plotted a fantastic plan in her mind.

Khushi brushed her long hair as she studied her reflection in a mirror. Its been a week since she had seen him last. Since the time she was unable to forget him and forceful act he impose upon her.

''I have no relation with you..its over..'' She took a deep breathe feeling quite well after such a long time. A knock on the door brought her attention toward her friend, sakshi.

''Hey khushi! Where you been its been since a long time. Are you alright?'' She weakly nodded and greeted her with a soft smile. Sakshi sat beside her and they had a small chat.

''Why you stop coming to office? I thought something had happen so came to check you. You know from the time you didn't come office Asr also didn't turn up..'' Her smile faded hearing his name. She rose from her place and turn to other side. While sakshi continue telling totally oblivious about her relation with Asr.

''I have heard from someone that he met with an accident and his condition is very bad..'' It took her some time to register her words.

What? Khushi turn around hastily.

''How is he?'' Sakshi felt strange seeing her reaction.

''No idea but why you're looking tensed..'' Khushi come back to senses and try to act normal.

''Its nothing..''

''I have heard someone beaten him very badly..'' Khushi looked at her with astonishment.

''Okay khushi I am getting late..When you feel better come back to office I have to go now..Bye..''

''Arnav..'' A million emotions ran in her mind. Her inside was burning just a mere thought of him. Unable to hold herself, she picked up her mobile and dial his number. She was getting impatient now. The bell rang and she was waiting to hear his voice. But it get disconnected. She try his number many times but no-one is responding. She wanted to know how is he? She was feeling guilty because somehow she is responsible for putting him into this state.

Every-time she rang him, the phone getting disconnected. Its look like he was deliberately doing that. She drop her mobile and sat on the bed with her hands on her head.

Why should i care? He had many people to took care of him. She convinced herself.

''What you doing with my mobile..'' Arnav snatched his mobile from her hands and before handling to him, she deleted khushi number from list.

''Woh I am checking doctor's number..he is coming today for your check up..''

''Did i ask you..?'' She shook her head instantly.

He was trying to take glass from side table. Lavanya help him out and he sat upright. She inch back before he again shout at her. Just then she was moving backward, a tugged in her hand halted her movement. She turn and found him holding her wrist.

''I am sorry Lavanya!'' Her eyes popped out.

''From past few days I am getting highly pissed off laying like this doing nothing and taking all my frustration on you..I didn't meant to-..''

''Its okay I can understand..'' She smiled in understanding and take a seat beside him.

''You know Di said it is right. You are a sweet, honest and selfless girl. You understand me so well but every-time i hurt you in some way or other..I never been able to make you happy..'' He sound guilty.

''Don't say like this..You are my world. All I want your happiness because I really love you Asr..''

''Me too..'' Lavanya couldn't believe what she had just heard. Does Asr said he love me. Oh my god! She felt her heart burst into happiness.

''I was always mean with you yet you never complain and look after me days in and nights..''

''I can do anything for you..anything..''

''I know Lavanya and from now I will try to give you a part of my love which you devoid of it..'' She was in cloud 9 and took him into his embrace feeling really happy. Totally oblivious there conversation been heard by someone standing in a door. She had tears in her eyes. It was khushi.

When it become impossible to hold, khushi decided to go Raizada mansion to know about his well being. She don't want anything serious happened to him because of her. But the moment she was going to enter his room, she get stunned seeing the sight in front of her. Arnav was laying into Lavanya arms confessing his love for her.

He is such a two timer! She was feeling so disgusted of him. At one time he confess his love by filling her partition claiming himself father of her baby and other time, he been with other girls. What kind of player he is?

Deep down she was happy seeing smile on Lavanya face. It was always she who come between her happiness and love. Currently it was getting very difficult to remain at this place and bear this sight. However, she decided to leave. Flower vase fell when she turn to leave. She immediately ran away from his room before any of them know her presence.

''Who permit this characterless women to step in my house..'' Dadi shouted at the servant eyeing at a pregnant lady moving near the main door of hall. Seeing her swell stomach, it didn't took her time to know it was khushi who came to see Arnav showing her fake concern. She was about to leave but hearing her taunts, She stop in her tracks.

''Now I have to purify entire place with gangajaal. (Pure water) Any prostitute come inside to harm our property and steal our things..'' This humiliation wasn't go easy to her.

''Did you say something old lady..'' Khushi turned and stood in front of her. Dadi was quite taken aback seeing her attitude.

''Don't you have manners how to talk with elders. Ofcourse you never get any good values from your family. They only learn you how to warm bed of rich men making yourself pregnant and grab their money..'' She passed a shooting daggers looking at her posture.

''Think before you speak..a women whom you are disgracing was going to become mother of your great grandson..'' Dadi started to laugh.

''You think I believe your lies? It is not so easy to manipulate me..A women like you don't deserve to exist in our society..Get out from my house before I had to call guard to throw you out and bas**** of your son..''

''Mind your tongue otherwise it won't take me time to cut it off out..''

''Don't create a scene here. Just leave!''

''Like I am dying to be here..I came here for my unborn because unwittingly he love his father more than he love me but my innocent baby don't know his father is busy entertaining other women in his bedroom..'' Saying this, she left from that place taking an oath to never step at this mansion again.

Anjali placed her hand on her shoulder confused, when she saw Dadi bubbling in anger.

'''Kya hua dadi..'' (What happen dadi?) Her eyes were splitting fire.

''Bahat hi batameez ladki hain..god know what chotte seen in her that he was hell bend to marry her..''

''Love is blind..'' Anjali spoke all lost. Her own said words reverberated in her mind.

Doctor came to examine Arnav's wounds. He pull the staple of nearly healed wounds causing him to hiss out in pain. Anjali grew panic shutting her eyes.

''Don't worry its just a matter of few days before the pain subsides..as you can see he can able to walk slowly but make sure not to over exert your arms and feet..i will give you pain killer now..'' Doctor stood up to leave. Aman who were already present there join him till door.

Lavanya step inside Raizada mansion with slow steps after meeting Aman making sure not to caught by anyone. On entering she saw darkness surrounded all around. She switch the light and call servant. To her utter surprise, entire mansion was empty. There is not a single person present there. The mansion was decorated was flowers and lights.

''Asr yeh sab'' She was pleasantly surprise. He come closer and took her hand.

''A little compensation for everything you did with ME..'' She look at him with bewilderment. Everything happening so fast she couldn't able to gather her victory.

''You are not embarrassing me..''

''Not at all sweetheart..its your right!

''Come! A big surprise is waiting for you!''

''Surprise!''

''Yup! This night going to be a memorable one..'' She raised her eyebrow suspecting him.

''What is your intention Asr..'' She smile sheepishly.

''A surprise that you never imagined..''

''Close your eyes..'' She did as he said.

''Asr I am waiting..please hurry up..'' She was getting curious. Within a microsecond, she felt a burning sensation on her cheeks. She fell on the ground with a hard jerk. She look up at him stunned with her hand rested on her cheeks.

''Didn't I told you a surprise which you never imagined..'' He said evilly and presented all the love letters and photographs of her's and Aman on her face he got from her bedroom

''What a great actress you are..Since 5 years you were having affair with my employee and I don't even get a bit of hint of it..hats of to you! How cunningly you use my Di to reach me..'' Shock would be understatement for her.

''What happened..shock are we..? He folded his arms and started to tell her.

''Well miss Lavanya kashyap for your kind information I got doubt on you on that day itself when I caught you and Aman in restaurant in a coffee shop. After that i get to know Aman is doing fraud with my company by selling my shares with rival companies. To confirm my doubt my men started to spy on every single movement of yours and him. For once I thought you cannot stand so low but I was so wrong. You not only played with my Di's emotions but with everyone who was close to my heart..'' She went motionless not knowing how to react. Never she thought Asr double cross her.

''Remember that day when you entered in lift and try to get cozy with me in front of khushi. That day i got the confirmation what actually you were trying to do. My recent accident when you put false accusation on khushi gave me clear indication about your so called intentions. However I decided to expose your real identity in light being around you. Actually didn't did any hard work as you confess it all out to your when I heard your conversation with Aman at night. Yes lavanya i was not sleeping. It was a acting. You think Arnav Singh Raizada is so weak that one injury put me to bed for days..I was quiet because i wanted to know what actually you were planning against me and khushi'' She went tongue tied.

''You know what I really feel bad for khushi. Because of your happiness, she is ready to sacrifice everything. She is so guilty for this pregnancy thinking she is responsible for coming between us. She wanted to protect you from marrying me when real devil resides inside you. Did you ever thought how she felt when she will know all your deeds. Shame on you! I hate myself for trusting you. I left khushi, humiliate her, rejected her true love for you. She begged me to accept her but i choose you over her. I wish I able to go back in past and do things differently. I deserve this..i deserve everything I made her go through. Now I realized how does it felt when someone deceive you..'' He punch his leg on the glass table letting every articles kept on the table fell on the ground breaking it apart just like his life.

''Asr I really love please believe me..its all a big lie..i hadn't any affair with anyone..trust me please..'' She cling him from behind. He jerk her hand away.

''Okay i trust you and ready to accept you only if your prove yourself innocent ..'' She got a ray of hope.

''Really?''

''But I have one condition..''

''I will do anything for you..''

''Okay then.. Kill yourself..'' With that he placed gun in front of her on the table.

''10 seconds..You have absolutely 10 seconds. If you didn't shot yourself than never show your face to me and my family again..''

''Your time is up, Lavanya..''

''Please gave me one chance Asr..'' She grabbed his legs begging him.

''Relax! If you are so hesitant I will do the honor..'' With that, he trigger the gun on her head. She trembled and even failed to move as the horror gripped her entirely.
