Chapter 10: A new beginning

HOLD MY HAND JUST ONE MORE TIME SO I CAN REMIND MYSELF THAT I CAN"T GET ENOUGH OF YOU..YOU ARE MY ONLY DESIRE..MY WANT..MY INTOXICATION..I WANT YOU KHUSHI..I WANT YOU..!

Her trace been broken by karan voice.

''Khushi try to listen..'' He try to make her understand to not release him.

''No karan I had decided..'' She stated looking straight at the police station and moved out of the car.

''Wait I will come..'' He locked the car and started to walk along with her.

''No..I don't want to risk you again because of me..you go back home and rest, your wounds are still fresh I will directly reached home till then handle arohi.. we need to keep her away from all this mess..'' She instructed him which definitely irked him.

''Are you nuts..i can't let you go alone..he is too dangerous to handle what if he again tr-..''

''I m not a kid karan..i m going to be mother and I know how to protect my baby from her father..'' The statement is too bitter to blunt but so true. 'I mean from asr..'' She stated shortly and gulped down and took out her mobile to message inspector before walking inside. A few more minutes and she going to be hysterical for sure. She didn't waste more time to argue with him and went inside the headquarters to meet him.

Lavanya was sitting on the bench showing worry glances while Aman was giving side of explanation to the police officer. But inspector was nowhere to listen until he got the message from khushi. Lavanya sigh in relief once she saw arnav coming out of bar.

''Asr you okay?'' She asked touching his cheeks. He began walking without saying a word and stood in front of inspector. ''How could someone put false accusation on you?'' She cursed that girl which is heard by inspector.

''He is not saint miss kashyap..Mr Raizada kidnap one girl for 5 days and not only that he beaten one guy..You should be grateful to that girl who had taken back her case otherwise your fiancee couldn't be out so soon ..'' Lavanya eyed at inspector who was mumbling unnecessarily without any proof..she thought.

''That's ridiculous.. Who the hell file case against him..tell me who is that bit**..'' She greeted her teeth.

''Enough lavanya..'' Arnav yelled signing her to shut up. His heart reacted in a way which he hadn't expected. Despite of his all bad doing, there is a solemn feeling gripped him which he wasn't aware of. His reaction surprise her.

''That girl put false accusation on you and you are defending her..I hate her asr..she was the reason you was in jail whole night..'' She cried. He wrapped his arm around her and trying to calm her down. He paused trying to find any reason which wasn't give her away. Aman was going to reveal it was none other than her friends, khushi and karan but asr one glare rooted him.

Few minutes passed and all the formalities were done. Without a word, he stalk toward the door. They were about to leave when khushi walked in the police station. Lavanya was startled at first seeing her. Arnav lifted his gaze and their eyes met. They were standing exactly in front of each other.

''Hi asr..'' Finally the wait is over ..when khushi walked in. Arnav lifted his gaze and their eyes met momentarily.

''So Mr raizada how was your new experience staying behind the bar whole night? I hope you enjoyed a lot..'' Her wicked taunt impulse fury inside him.

''You did grave mistake releasing me!'' He gave a dangerous glare.

'''Should I be scared?'' She countered pretending to be scared.

''You really had guts to stand in front of Arnav singh raizada but this time I will torture you until you beg me for mercy..'' She raised her eyebrow.

''Oh god You really scared me..someone please help me out..'' She laughed out and he look at her sharply. He was surely going to teach her lesson for messing with him.

''Where were you khushi?'' their heated conversation been interrupted when lavanya approaches them. ''Thank god you are safe..'' Khushi weakly smile and both reached outside to have a talk. But arnav concentration was on her.

''Where you went missing?'' Lavanya asked worriedly. Arnav sign to lavanya he was waiting outside for her while aman followed him and drove off. Khushi saw him walking out.

'' Lavu- Why don't you ask your fiancee he know better than me who is my kidnapper...'' she stated at the matter of fact and he stopped at his track hearing her. And then started walking.

''One minute Mr raizada..'' He clenched his fist which she turn him forcefully. His neck turn and went to stand in front of her. She gave a cunning smile.

''What the hell you want now..'' He try hard not to shout her in front of lavanya and shrugged her hand off.

''I guess you know what I want..even more than you wanted my body in past..'' She whispered in his ear that couldn't be heard by lavanya.

''Should i tell lavanya how I satisfy you on bed..she should be aware her would be husband like bold and mad woman like me..''

''Apni bakwaas band karo aur dafa ho jao yaha se..'' (Stop your non sense and get the hell out of here..)

''Well your wish and my command..sooner your wish going to be fulfilled darling..'' Lavanya notice them mumbling something standing in a corner.

He didn't wait anymore longer and strode to walk but she pull him back, giving a cheesy smile.

''Not so easy..'' She smirked.

''Stop your bloody non sense and let me go..'' He try hard to not loose his calm but find it difficult due to her..''

''I can't believe Arnav singh raizada running from me..someone pinch me'' She chuckled. That's it he lost his patience and about to pounce her when lavanya come in between.

''Lavanya tell your friend don't mess with you..i m in no mood to fight..'' He look away frustrated while khushi had still gripped his hand.

''Itni bhi kya besabri ghar jane ki- Jijaji..'' (Why so much desperation to go home..jijaji) She winked and turned toward lavanya before saying further.

''Actually I want to confess something, specially to you Mr raizada..'' He looked at her disinterested and she bore her eyes toward lavanya who had confused expression.

''Lavanya..the girl who send him jail was ME...'' her brow frown. That was biggest blow for her to bare. She inch back unable to grasp the news.

''What?'' Khushi nodded looking directly into his eyes. He had no idea what is she plotting.

''You mean arnav was the person who kidnapped you..'' She completed and went to deep thought. It was evident there was lot going in lavanya mind.

''No he didn't..I put false accusation at him..he is innocent'' She uttered. He was astonished like anything. Why is she lying? If this was her trap, he would not going to fall in it.

''But why?..how could you do this to MY ASR..'' Lavanya asked.

''BECAUSE I HAD LOVED HIM..'' Shock tore through her body and she went rigid. His eyes popped out as he haven't expected this from khushi. ''Did she going to tell her we had sex..?'' He was only assessing her.

''What do you mean?'' Lavanya start to feel anxious.

You heard me right.. I was been in love with him but it was only one sided love he never loved me..its me who was hell behind him..'' Shock would be understatement for both of them. She continued and he glare her with shocked expression.

''I have no control to not fall in love with me..Its was me who brought Radhika to broke your engagement because I wanted him at any cost...'' That's it a slap landed on her face making her step back with a force. She looses her balance and arnav embrace her before she fall down. Their eyes locked and he drowned into her. Lavanya don't know how to react. She was loosing her patience seeing them close to each other. Arnav come back to his senses and furiously pushed khushi away from him.

''Stay in your limits Miss gupta...lavanya is my girlfriend and for your kind information we are getting married within a week so don't you dare brain washing my would be wife..'' He gave a warning glare.

''Of-course Mr raizada i know my limits..'' Khushi spoke.

''How could you do this khushi..you were my true friend..I trusted you with all my life..I didn't expect this from you at all..'' Lavanya feel dishearten. She never imagine khushi could stoop so low.

''Let it be lavnaya..these middle class girls are like that..always need chance to trap rich men that's why i used to warn you to stay away from these cheap girl..'' He commented arrogantly and in return she passed a big smile.

''You are so right Mr Raizada.i should have known my limitation and for that I came here to clear the matter and take back the report henceforth.. I really don't want to come between two lovers ..You both are truly made for each other and I wished you to have a happy married life in future..'' She took lavanya hand and place her palm with his conveying then they are meant to be together and bless them. He was too stunned by her moves. It was totally unexpected.

''He love you a lot lavanya..there was a time when I used to attract him and you know what not even once he try to get close to me..he said he only love you and would never imagine in his wildest dream to cheat you...that day I realize I was so wrong..i can't be selfish anymore..you both genuinely deserve each other..'' Khushi pretend to be sad and look at her feet feeling bad. He was still in shocked, can't believe could say such things which was literally untrue. She look at arnav and paused before continuing.

''You never took advantage of me when we are in London..you would have done anything that day when we are staying together..i wouldn't have stopped you but you did nothing and I m very grateful for that..'' She said pressing each and every word purposely. His eyes still locked on her. The past rolled in front of his eyes which is exactly opposite uttered by her. Her changed demeanor puzzled him.

''I m sorry lavanya ..I..I..'' She seek an apology and lavanya give in seeing her guilty.

''Why the hell she was lying back to back..what is cooking in her brain?'' He wondered unable to digest her changed behavior.

''Its okay khushi..you realize your mistake that's all matter to me..'' Lavanya smile back and both share a hug.

''Keep her happy JIJAJI..'' She purposely said it just to remind him and left from there. It was shocking that she had accepted so big. Has she gone mad due to kidnapping or what? He saw her disappearing figure and lavanya cling to his chest. His confused state of mind couldn't find valid answer.

''Asr we are getting married..i m so happy..You know I can't wait to be Mrs raizada..I love you so much..'' He weakly nodded and they drove toward the destination.

Khushi was walking in the lonely street when a sharp headlight flashes her eyes. Before she could recover, a car landed in front of her. There arnav came out charging her.

''Why are you following me?'' She didn't gave him attention and started to walk away but his one grip and she crashed against him.

''Why you lied to lavanya..what is your plan? He pinned her against the car and moved on top of her.

''Plan? What are you saying Mr raizada!' He look at her closely to observe each and every expression.

''Don't act smart khushi..You are reacting like nothing happened!''

''Nafrat hain na apko humse hamari aukat se toh khush ho jayegi kyunki apki zindagi se hamesha ke liye dur ja rahe hain..ap kabhi lautke nahi ayenge..'' (You hate me and my middle class status then you should be happy because I m going away from your life..forever and will never come back to show my awful face to you..'') His heart stop to pump for a second.

''What the hell you are talking..How could you go like this..we made love the why you lie to lavanya that i did nothing to you..''

''Not love..it was a plain meaningless s**..you wanted my body and got it without any protection and made me pre..g..'' She stopped in an instant to gulp her forbidden pain. He eyed her.

''Oh come on arnav..that's what you want..You always told me to move on and forgot all happened between us so that's all i m doing..there is nothing left for me to loose..i lost my everything in your love..you should be happy you get rid off me and now there is no hurdle between you and lavanya..Marry her and live your rest of your life with her i will not create any problem anymore'' Blood rushed his veins and he held her both hand behind her back pulling her close.

''I hope whatever you saying was true but if you again create any drama then I will not spare you..'' She smiled in assurance.

''I promise i will not come in between you and lavanya...'' He flinched. How could she behave so normally? He can't believe this. She pull him off and stood in front of him.

''Listen arnav whatever done is done..we cannot change our past but we can make our future better..from now on I will not cross your path neither i will see your face again just keep lavanya happy..'' It was impossible to withstand it.

''You should be happy that I am nothing? Finally you defeated me in worst way!'' He didn't understand the hidden meaning of her phrase. But he was happy finally her chapter was over.

''Its good you accepted you are nothing in front of Arnav singh raizada..I m marrying lavnaya I hope tumhe koi farak nahi padta..'' He remarked purposely to see her reaction but she was seen as happy than before.

''Bilkul nahi..'' (Not at all) She gave him sly smile and his heart unknowingly bleeds.

''Wishing you a happy married life..'' She wave him bye and retreated back. He keep on staring her disappearing figure with vacant eyes. It was dead end of their relationship.

''I have made appointment for you..Dr akshat is best gynecologist..you are getting weaker day by day and your face looking pale..so get ready we are leaving now..'' Karan commanded khushi who was eating grapes seating in front of TV.

''Could you hear me..i m talking to you..'' She made a face.

''I m not going anywhere..'' She said disinterested.

''What?''

''Yes I m not going and that's final..'' She rejected roughly.

''Khushi this is not acceptable..your monthly check is necessary..''

''Did you see baby..uncle always trouble mumma..'' She mumbled caressing her two month flat baby. He try to convince her but her she keep denying.

''What happen to di?'' His neck turn only to found arohi coming toward khushi.

''Di are you not well? What happened to you..'' She asked touching her cheeks. Both exchanges worry glances. ''I m fine Aru..it was routine check up..''

''Then I'm coming along with you..'' Her eyes popped out. She had a fear what if arohi find out the truth which she is hiding.

''No aru..you don't need to I will manage..karan would accompany me..'' She finally agree when karan made any lame excuse and khushi heaved in relief.

''Thank karan you saved me! You are my sweetheart.. Gosh I m feeling so hungry..'' Khushi pleased him.

Once she done with her check up, she insisted karan to stop the car near ice cream parlor. Khushi keep on blabbering and enjoying the flavor deliciously. He didn't say anything and he keep on observing her for.

''I can't believe this..what's wrong with you khushi?'' he shake his head in disbelief. Her weird behavior confusing him. She was reacting like nothing had happened.

''What can you believe haan?'' She asked. ''And stop staring me like I did any crime..''

''What happen karan? He lost his temper and handed her brown envelop to get any reaction but came nothing. There was arnav and lavanya marriage card but it had least effect on her.

''Whoa..Card was so beautiful..wasn't it..?'' She admire it feeling overwhelmed. There was fury in his eyes at the same time pain which she was hiding within her heart.

''Liar you are a liar..? Stop you drama and tell me what you hiding? Why you doing this khushi..doesn't it matter to you?''

''No! At this point I hardly care..'' She replied without any emotion and keep on feeding herself making a sound.

''You know karan..this is my favorite flavor..can you bring one more please..'' She divert his attention knowing well where their conversation leading.

''How could you be so calm khushi? He ruined your life and made you pregnant and instead of punishing him you put all accusation on yourself saying its you who trap arnav..What you got by all this..Nothing!'' Lavnaya will surely hate you if you keep doing all this..! His voice was rough enough. She passed a bitter laugh.

''Let's go karan..we are getting late..'' She avoid looking at him.

''Stop this marriage..Arnav already ruined your life and doing the same with lavanya..'' He almost pleaded loosing his patience. ''Lets do the DNA test and prove to lavanya that you are carrying his baby and stop this marriage..''

''I don't need to justify myself and if they are getting married why should I bother or interfere in their personal lives..'' she spoke before switching on the music player. He stare her continuously which she was enjoying.

She was acting so calmly as if nothing had happened and it was definitely strange. It was impossible to take her words, whatever the reason behind them.

''Stop it khushi..how could you forgive him so easily..!'' He threw her mobile in some corner getting frustrated.

''And Who told you I forgive him?'' There was deep intensity in her tone.

''Khushi save lavanya please! She had a blind faith on him and we need to do something very soon..'' She look disinterested.

''Its her life and If she is happy in marrying him then who I am to spoil their happiness..let them do whatever they want..'' She countered and turn her eyes to window side to enjoy the cold weather. He was frustrated by her behavior totally oblivious what is running in her mind. It was almost impossible to understand her. But what she told him next really shocked him.

No!!!!! His eyes widen.

As the day passes, his restlessness and frustration began increasing. Arnav had an strange urge to meet her. When it became impossible to hold anymore, he reached her house to see her only to receive the biggest shock when he saw lock at the main door.

Where is she? He roared.

She is not here..she left the house few days ago..'' one of neighbor spoke. He went frozen.

''NAFRAT HAIN NA APKO HUMSE HAMARI AUKAT SE TOH KHUSH HO JAYEYE KYUNKI APKI ZINDAGI SE HAMESHA KE LIYE DUR JA RAHE HAIN..AB KABHI LAUTKE NAHI AYENGE..BAHAT DUR..JA RAHE HAIN HUM.. HAMESHA HAMESHA KE LIYE..''

''GOOD BYE MR RAIZADA''

''KEEP HER HAPPY..''

Her voice was constantly echoing him and making him vulnerable.

''Dammit..'' He kicked his car and closed his eyes feeling horrible. She left? Where she gone? He have no idea where to found her. He was confused of his own emotions. A part of him wanted to be happy but other side he was feeling like someone had cut a part of him. Every pore of his body was burning in pain. To his utter surprise, he could feel a drop of tear escaping out from corner of his eyes. He looked at it strangely.

Khushi!!!!!!!!!!! It was hard for him to absorb the changes. Nothing and changed everything is as beautiful as it was. He reminded himself but there was sadness in his heart which was yet to discovered.
