Atharva woke up the next day, still distressed about the situation with Riya. But he once again decided to call, just try once more.

And the phone rang. He'd once again expected that she won't pick up but alas! She picked up the phone! And a smile brightened up his face as soon as he heard the sound of call being picked up.

Riya, on the other hand, got the news from Avni, she was too hesitant to pick the call and even angry at Avni for picking up his call without asking her. But she knew Avni was right. She was happy about the fact that she got a chance to experience a true friend, other than Atharva of course. Her heart was about to burst from Avni's concern and her happiness knew no bounds.

As soon as she picked up the phone, she heard his inviting voice which instantly cleared her hesitance in speaking.

"Hello!"

"Hi" she said a bit lightly.

"I'm sorry for asking you to meet last time. If you don't want to, I understand. But I seriously want us to stay friends even if we don't meet." He rambled and his words made Riya feel guilty though she secretly found his rambling cute.

"Is it okay if I give you a reply about this tomorrow?"

Her words gave him a tiny hope. And his face brightened up even more.

And that's how their conversation flowed smoothly as if nothing had happened though a big change was about to happen...
