Chameleon plopped down on his bed with a sigh .

He couldn't just get his hands on what was off with her . Definitely something . But that was the question , what is that something? .

Now now , Chameleon . She's just a friend , nothing much .

Ugh , but he just couldn't stop thinking about her . Her long , wavy red hair . Her shimmering yellow eyes like the sunset- Wait What? .

It's like she had some sort of magical affect on him . No girl , Not even one had been able to capture his heart like she did .

The door opened and Cassandra came in . She was wearing a red T-shirt and jeans shorts . Her copper hair was in a braid . Her amber eyes sparkled in any light .

"Hey bro" She sat down beside him on the bed . "Hey Cass" .

"Watcha doing?"

"OH MY GOD! STOP ASKING ME!" He threw his arms up in frustration .

He lightly punched her shoulder and she giggled "Oooooooooh . You do like her" . Even though she was just 12 , she knew all these things . Sometimes his friends would say she was crazy , but he still loved her .

"What else about her?" She asked .

"Um.... She's beautiful . Like real beautiful , inside out . Her smile is so adorable . She seems innocent . But she's a really interesting girl . Oh I could go on and on about how wonderful she is" .

"Remind me to somehow set you two up on a date" She whispered .

"Don't you dare say anything to her" He warned . "Or else what?"

"Or else this" He started tickling her aggressively . She started laughing "Stop it" .

He stopped to let her catch her breath .

Then she stopped looked like she was listening to something .

Then she looked at him "The stars told me about your future" . Well , that was her , Alright . The reason she didn't have friends . The stars could talk to her  . The told her the future . How one is gonna die or who they will marry or how many children they will have .

"What is it? What did they say?"

"Not telling" .

"Please"

"No"

"You can have all my chocolate"

"No"

She wasn't gonna tell him anyway but he tried one last time "Please?" . "The coming future will tell you that . For now , you can , mourn about why Cassandra didn't tell you" .

"Hey Kestrel . Since it's Friday night , we're sleeping late . For now , we're playing games . You coming?"

"Sure"

Asha and Hvitur both put one finger down and the brunette whispered "Darn" .

Kestrel snickered . She had said that on purpose .

Hvitur and Asha blushed before putting one finger down .

"Aw" Dune said "So you guys must've had se-"

"Okay . My turn" Asha interrupted , blushing furiously "Never have I ever shot someone" .

Kestrel , Dune and Hvitur lowered one finger .

Hvitur had 7 left .

Kestrel had 9 .

Webs had 10 .

Dune had 9 .

Asha had 8 .
