Why does she have to experience all those things? Is it her choice? Or was it because it's her fate?

When was the last time that she smiled? When was the last time that she felt happy? When was the last time that she felt love?

Shea

A girl who suffered all her life just to protect the people around her. She's strong, powerful, brave.

Pero naging masaya ba sya? Did she even experience a full happiness? She is the Queen of Darkness, and she's also living in it.

Pain makes people change. Even the Queen of Darkness cannot control it. She was hurt.

And now she is bound to face her fate. To face her exact opposite, and to whom she shared one of her most unforgettable memory.

She descended from the dark clouds of the Underworld. Her friends looked at her with pain and sadness in their eyes. Ayaw nilang saktan si Shea, pero ito ang nakatadhana sa kanila.

Nagtagpo ang mga mata nila ni Eloiny. At isang butil ng luha ang pumatak mula sa mga mata nito. Nanghina ang tuhod nya at napaluhod.

Seeing your bestfriend becoming a monster is like your heart being shred into pieces. Wala syang nagawa kundi ang umiyak.

"H-Hindi. Hindi ko sya nailigtas."

Tuluyang kumulimlim ang paligid. Thunder began to roar and lightning strikes everywhere. Biglang sumeryoso ang aura ng mga apostle. Eloiny never saw this side of them at nakakakilabot ang pwersa ng liwanag na nanggaling sa kanila.

Lahat sila nakatingin kay Shea. At hawak na nila ang kanya-kanyang weapon accessory.

Kiyan flew up high. He released a ray of light straight to his apostles. Biglang nawala ang demonyong sumapi kay Trevor at bumalik sya sa normal. Naramdaman ni Eloiny na bigla syang lumakas. All of them are healed.

"Anong nangyayari?"

Biglang umilaw ang buong katawan nila. Until they found themselves being dressed in a full battle armor. And each armor are specialized according to their powers.

They are like the knights of heaven. Kiyan created this armor in which hindi ito basta-basta maaapektuhan ng kapangyarihan ng kadiliman. They look like the gods and goddesses in greek because of their perfect features.

Tumingala si Eloiny para tignan si Kiyan pero wala na ito.

"Bakit kaya lagi syang wala sa tuwing may laban?" she wondered.

"Hello Kiyan. Do you like my new disciple? How does she look?" dumagundong ang boses ng Goddess sa buong Underworld.

Shea can't be recognize as a human anymore. Her eyes were in intense blue, her skin were covered with black scales na parang isang dragon, she has a long pointed tail just like the devil, she has four bat-like wings and her horns are spirally pointing downward. Her nails are now recognized as claws. Hindi na sya ang Shea na kilala noon.

She's not even beautiful.

It is a demon. A monster.

Behind her was once a part of their bond. At nangakong hindi iiwan si Shea kahit anong mangyari.

Si Paxton. Nakatayo sya sa likuran ni Shea. His eyes are full of desire to protect her queen from any attacks coming from anyone. Handa nyang patayin kahit sino. Kahit kakilala nya pa ito. He looks like he's been reformed. He is indeed the familiar of Mistress.

"May the guidance of God be upon us. May his grace cover us from the penetrating power of darkness. God, may our faith strengthen us to deliver darkness away and free the suffering souls from evil. May your light shine upon us and let your love overcome everything. May this holy war give end to every individual who suffers. We trusted you with everything we've got. For without you, we are nothing. Thy will be done." bulong ni Vishna and the rest of the apostles. Except kay Eloiny.

Tulala parin sya at hindi alam ang gagawin.

A prayer before the final battle.

"Alpha." tawag ng headmaster sa kanila.

Flynn and Eloiny found him in a run down building few kilometers away. Sabi nya, kailangan nyang tumulong sa Alpha dahil hindi na basta-basta ang kalaban nila. They might be the apostles but they are still his students. And a student need the help of his teacher in tight situations. 'Yan ang paniniwala nya.

Itinaas nya ang mga kamay nya at may ilaw na nanggaling dito.

"This will give you additional strength to fight. I will do my best to support you and defeat Shea." sabi ng headmaster with eyes full of determination.

They bowed as a sign of respect at sabay lumipad pataas upang pantayan si Shea.

Eloiny didn't move an inch at tulala lang. Patuloy parin ang pagpatak ng luha sa kanyang mga mata. A hand reach out to her.

Napatingin sya dito. As their eyes met, her heart skipped a beat.

"It's time. You are bound to fight each other Eloiny. Light and dark are destined to fight because that is what we're made of. Ayaw rin naming kalabanin sya, pero ito ang nakatadhanang mangyari." malungkot na sabi ni Trevor.

"Trevor, naging masama ba akong kaibigan?" she asked. Tears running down her cheeks.

Yumuko ang binata upang mapantayan sya nito, "Don't blame yourself. Alam ni Shea kung gaano ka kabuting kaibigan. To the point that even the King chose you to be his strongest apostle. It's just that, fate loves to play sometimes."

Napatingin sya sa gawi nina Shea. The Goddess is grinning at them. While Shea shows no emotion at all. She's not even holding back to fight them.

Tumayo na si Trevor at handa nang bumalik sa mga kasama nya.

"Love controls all Eloiny. You don't know how strong you are. Di kita pipilitin ngayon, but we will be expecting you."

Lumipad na sya pataas kung saan kapantay nila si Shea. The 7 apostles assembled into a sphere-like formation. They are covered with light, and an image of an eagle flashed before Eloiny's eyes. A very majestic view seeing the apostles of light fight together. Lahat sila ay nakatingin kay Shea, with their weapon accessory pointing towards her.

"How beautiful."

Nakakapanindig balahibo ang boses na dumagundong sa buong Underworld. Ang boses mula sa reyna ng kadiliman.

Shea gave them an evil smile. Napatalon si Eloiny sa likod ng headmaster dahil sa takot ngunit ang mga apostles ay walang pinakitang ni katiting na takot manlang.

"I've always been dreaming to have a battle with you. I want to know what Kiyan sees in you that he chose you to be his apostles." kasing lamig ng yelo ang boses nito.

"You never fail to amaze us Shea. Mataas talaga ang tingin namin sa 'yo. You really are full of surprises." sabi ni Alison sa kanya. Her golden hair shines amidst the sky of darkness. And her armor reflects from the ray of light Kiyan gave them.

She replied them with a grin. Nakatingin lang sina Seraphina at Zephyr sa kanila. Pero di maitatago ang lungkot sa kanilang mga mata. Lalo na ang ama ni Shea.

Tahimik lang itong tinitignan ang anak nya.

"It's not fair that only the light has apostles." A dark smoke came from Shea's body at kumalat sa buong lugar.

Ilang sandali pa, an extremely powerful magic just came out of nowhere. Mas lalo pang lumakas ang kulog at kidlat at dumilim ang kalangitan. A shadow of nine creatures descended from above. Showing the nine apostles of hell.

"Wew. Sa wakas." the Apostle of Violence roughly said while grinning. His eyes are burning red like he was being possessed.

They are terrifying. Monstrous. They are immensely covered with dark energy. A bone-chilling presence that you never wish to experience. Their eyes gleamed in crimson red. Demonic tattoos covered their body and their skin are painted in black and red.

A ray of darkness came from Shea and struck them. Nabalot ng usok ang katawan nila until they found themselves being dressed into a full battle armor just like the opposite side. An armor that cannot be easily penetrated by light. They assembled themselves into a sphere-like formation katulad nang sa Alpha.

They surrounded Shea at sabay-sabay na sinummon ang kanilang weapon accessories. An image of a raven flashed before Eloiny's eyes.

"That's why I like you, Shea." sabi ni Livius. The Apostle of Lust.

"Address her properly dumbass. She's our queen." sita sa kanya ni Ehra. The Apostle of Envy.

"I never thought that this day would come na magiging isa ulit tayo ng kaharian. Na magiging kakampi ulit natin ang Reyna. That offering was great though. Hihi." Sorah giggled and hugged her doll. Her doll has a huge scar on the face and its eyeball is hanging from its socket. Nakatahi ang isang mata nito at nakangiti. Naka braid sa dalawa ang buhok nito at nakasuot ito ng madumi na puting bestida.

She is the youngest among the Apostles. The Apostle of Sloth.

"Kelan pa nagsanib pwersa ang Underworld at ang Apostles?" tanong ng ama ni Shea kay Seraphina.

"H-Hindi ko rin alam. Hindi ko alam kung ano ang ginawa ni Shea upang magkasundo sila." may bahid ng takot na sabi ni Seraphina.

"Masama ito. Alam niya kung ano ang ginagawa nya. Hindi sya kontrolado ng Goddess." singit ni Headmaster sa usapan nila.

Nagulat ang lahat nang biglang pumana si Paxton patungo sa kanila. It's arrow traveled so fast na halos hindi na makita. But Alzena acted fast and countered it by a gun that she's holding. A huge explosion occured in the sky kung saan nagsalubong ang tira nila.

"That's unfair. You just attacked without informing us." pilyang sabi ni Vishna.

"Dapat kami ang magsabi nyan."

The smoke subsided at nakitang may hawak na sphere si Paxton. Nasa harapan sya ni Shea. Judging from the light surrounding the sphere, nanggaling ito sa kabila. A sphere made of ice. Unti-unti itong natunaw at naging abo sa kamay ni Paxton.

He once pointed his arrow towards the apostles of light. Hinarap naman sya ni Alzena and pointed her gun at him.

Paxton is in his fox form. Ganon rin si Alzena. She has wings of an eagle and her hair became colorful feathers. Her feet turns into sharp talons that can slice up to anything.

"What about a battle between familiars?" the Goddess grinned.

Biglang nag iba ang paligid. From the sky of the Underworld, the setting changed into an arena. A very huge arena that is perfect for the battle between opposite forces.

A seat was prepared para sa Goddess, kay Shea at sa kanyang mga Apostles. Ganon rin sa kabila. But Kiyan is still missing.

Parehong nasa battle ground na sina Paxton at Alzena. Kahit sa aura palang ay nagtatalo na ang kadiliman at liwanag. No human or average being can survive this intense pressure and power. Parang hindi sina Alzena at Paxton ang nasa gitna ng arena ngayon. Both of them have the desire to fight each other. Like they were being trained and prepared for this historical battle.

Never in the history of this world na naglaban ang dalawang familiar. This is the first time na hindi lamang ang Hari at Reyna ang naglaban kundi pati ang familiar nila.

Biglang nagsalita ang Goddess na ngayon ay nakaupo sa kanyang trono. Katabi nya si Shea.

"The rules are simple. Who live wins and who die loses. A draw is not allowed. One of you must die and the other shall live."

Gulat na napatingin si Shea sa Goddess, "But Master..."

"No objection from God. So I guess it agreed."

"I won't allow it!" biglaang sigaw ni reyna.

"Do you not trust your familiar, disciple?"

Natahimik si Shea at tumingin kay Paxton. Nagtagpo ang mga mata nila. Paxton's eyes were saying something na silang dalawa lang ng Mistress nya ang nakakaintindi. Biglang umiwas ng tingin si Shea at naikuyom ang mga kamay nito.

Both familiars put themselves into a fighting position. Each holding their weapons.

A/N: Almost 2 months na akong walang update. Sana nandyan parin kayo. Haha. Pasensya na at maikli lang yung UD. Let me bawi nalang hehe.

At oo, patuloy parin ang story. Wala akong sinabing di ko na tatapusin 'to. Sadyang busy lang talaga to the point na di ko kayang pagsabayin ang watty at ang studies ko. At sa mga nagtatanong kung bakit 60 parts yung nakalagay sa story pero 55 palang ang chapter, sa 60 parts na yun nandon na ang Intro, announcements, trailers and rants. Kaya naging 60 parts sya.
