After classes, I headed to the mall to shop for the party that was going to be tomorrow, now that Aditi had challenged me, I had to win this anyhow.

I knew the only way I could get her to forgive me was fight for it, begging her for forgiveness wasn't working so maybe this would get her mad somehow and just work.

I missed the time when Aditi and I would always shop together or get our clothes custom made especially for stuff like this, I hope we were going to get back to that soon.

When it came to clothes, I was way too choosy so it took me forever to find the perfect dress, it took me almost three hours and a lot of trips to different places until I found something that really impressed me. And then it took me another hour just to find matching shoes and a bag, by the time I got home I was tired so I went straight to bed without having dinner.

The next morning I woke up pretty late so I had to rush to college, the party was going to be held in the evening so anyway I'd come back and dress up later.

When I arrived at the university, I met Jay at the parking lot as if he was just waiting for me, once I parked my car and stepped out, I walked towards him with a smile on my face.

"Were you waiting for me?" I asked.

"Yeah, I wanted to ask you something."

"Okay go on." I said as I started walking and he followed me.

"I was wondering, if you don't have anyone to go with, will you go with me to the party tonight?" he looked at me so nervously, it kind of made me laugh, I hadn't met a guy that was nervous to talk to me or anything so this was somehow cute.

"Sure, but on one condition."

"Anything."

"You'll come my place then we'll go in my car, no offense but Khushi Gupta can't be seen in that car of yours."

"As you wish, I'm just happy you agreed to come with me." He looked so excited about this, it was kind of cute.

Okay, why was everything about Jay so cute suddenly? I had met him like three days ago, but he was a nice person and the only friend I had currently which was also kind of weird, I remember when in high school, everyone wanted to be friends with me and I was very picky, and now I had no friends and I was literally friends with a guy I wouldn't have talked to in high school.

A lot of things in life change though, I hoped this was a good change.

Jay and I parted our ways and headed to our specific classes, gladly Arnav wasn't in the class today and I hoped he wasn't coming, I don't know why but I just kind of hated him.

The class today was pretty much empty, I guess everyone was really excited for the fresher's party that was happening tonight they dint bother to attend the classes.

And even the few people that attended the classes dint seem to bother about me, none of them tried to even talk to me, I guess it was because I had chosen to sit next to Arnav whom everyone here seemed to hate.

Well that guy did stuff to be hated for, I dint get what he had in his mind anyway, he was always doing strange things to people for no reason at all.

Anyway even with few people in the class, it was kind of fun and I got to learn a lot of new things, as it was my field of interest, it just kind of made me happy learning all the new things about it and how everything worked.

And to make it better, Arnav dint show up actually.

I had back to back classes so by the last class, I was tired as hell and I wasn't even sure if I wanted to go to the fresher's party tonight, but I had to because Aditi and I had a challenge going on.

I got my stuff and headed out of the class, I had to get ready and I knew that was going to take me forever.

On my way out, I bumped into Aditi, surprisingly she dint seem pissed at me or anything instead she was smiling at me.

"What are you smiling about?" I asked.

"I'm smiling because I know you aren't attending the party tonight." She smirked.

"Quite delusional aren't you? Why would you even think that I won't attend the party?"

"Well because you have nothing to wear." She smirked as she handed me a paper bag, I was confused until I looked at it and saw my dress inside it, only that it was no more a dress, it was cut into pieces. What the hell! I was so mad.

"Are you out of your mind or what? And when did you even get into my house?" I asked.

"Well gladly your father thinks we are still friends so it wasn't that hard last night, when you were deep asleep. I told you Khushi, no one can win this apart from me. Anyway I'll get going, otherwise I'll be late for the party, don't worry thought, I'd send you pictures so you don't feel left out." She smirked as she walked away.

I was so pissed and sad at the same time, how did I not know the dress was gone? I dint even have enough time to go shopping now, if it took me three hours yesterday to find a good dress, I wondered how long it was going to take me today.

I did want to attend this party, I had even promised Jay that I would go with him and now everything was messed up.

I hated Aditi for doing this to me, I get it I left without telling her anything and she was angry but it dint mean she had to do all this to me, why was she being so mean to me anyway? It wasn't like I tried to kill her or something, I just left without telling her that was it!

Anyway it was obvious that I wasn't going to be able to attend this party today, so she clearly won the challenge, I had no option than to head home and sit alone in my room and be mad about everything in life.

I walked to the parking lot and tried to unlock my car but for some reason it wouldn't just unlocked and then I realized, the keys I was holding weren't mine. Someone had exchanged them, I have no idea when and how but they weren't mine.

I knew Aditi must be behind it, she was going to make sure I dint go to this party so she did all this on purpose! God I hated her more than anything right now. I kicked the car out of frustration.

"Calm down, why are you venting your anger on the poor car?" I heard a voice behind me, I turned and saw Arnav standing right there. I hadn't seen him in class the entire day despite the fact that he was around, then where was he?

Who cared, all I cared about right now was my freaking dress and my car!

"Why do you care?" I asked angrily.

"I don't, you just seemed to be punishing the car for no reason."

"Well I need to take out my anger on something and I can't clear take it out on Aditi because of whom all this is happening because she's gone. I just wish I could pay her back somehow for this."

"What did she do to you?"

I threw the bag of my torn dress in front of him along with the keys.

"She ruined my dress for tonight's party and replaced my keys with fake ones, now I'm stuck here with no car to get home nor a dress to attend the party. I don't even know how to react. And why am I even telling you all this, it's not like you're going to help me." I turned away from him and looked at my car, I just had to call someone at the house and tell them to send me a driver with another car here.

"Maybe I can help." Arnav said, I turned to look at him again, this time in surprise. Was this Arnav Raizada trying to help me? Why would he want to help me?

"Why would you help me and how would you help me?"

"I don't answer stupid questions, do you need my help or not. You have ten seconds to decide?" He asked as he started counting, for now I was desperate and I had no other option so I had to agree for this, I just hoped I wasn't going to regret it later.

"Okay, I need it." I said.

"I thought so, now follow me." He smirked as he walked towards his car, we both got inside and he drove off, I remained silent as I dint want any conversation with him that would lead to an argument, I was just curious on how he was going to help me though.

He stopped the car in front of a huge gate then pressed a button on some remote, the gate opened up slowly and he drove in, we were welcomed to a huge parking lot that had a lot of different car parked around, all expensive car. Wow this guy was freaking rich, even richer than I was, I could say it just by looking at the cars.

When my eyes fell on the mansion, I was left in awe, I hadn't been surprised this much before, this mansion was twice bigger than mine, no wonder Arnav though he had so much power, he was rich as hell he had to have all that power.

We both stepped out of the car and I just kept on wondering why he brought me to his house, but at the same time, I couldn't wait to go in and have a look at the inside, I was sure it must be beautiful.

"Now come on, don't be shy." He smirked at me as he started walking, I rolled my eyes and followed him, I wasn't the kind of a person who would be shy about anything.

As I stepped inside the house, I was left with my eyes wide open, I was clearly acting the same way Jay was acting when I took him my place, here I thought I was so rich, I guess Arnav proved me wrong.

"Why do you look so surprised?" He asked.

"Nothing, I just dint know you were this rich." I said, he shrugged as he lead me upstairs, the house was huge and there was no one around apart from a few people that were cleaning around.

He opened the door of a room and walked in, I just followed him silently as I looked at the room, it was a simple and sober kind of a room and it looked like it belonged to a girl and not him.

He walked towards the wardrobe and pushed it open and wow, I was left speechless. There were a hundred of dresses hanging there and they all looked so expensive and unique, I had never seen such beautiful dresses before.

"Pick whichever you like." He said. Why did Arnav have such a huge wardrobe of all this dresses, who did they belong to? I had so many questions in my mind that I dint even move, I was still standing where I was trying to find answers to my question.

"Khushi." He grabbed my arm and shook me, I looked at him and suddenly my mind was diverted to his hand holding my arm and jeez that felt like butterflies.

"Yeah, sorry I'll pick." I said as I walked away from him, I dint like how him touching me felt, I mean it felt good but I dint want it to feel that way because I hated him.
