Part 2

Welcome to University Of Mumbai, where I was going to spend a lot of my time for the next few years studying something I was quite interested in, i.e. film making. There was something about the movie and television industry that always left me curious.

Now of course the only way I could get it on that was by becoming an actress or studying film making, the first option wasn't anything that would interest me.

In the beginning all the fame and stuff was great to me, but as time passed by it became horrible, I merely wanted to live a middle class life but in a high class sort of way, which meant the same life as now but no media or fame, do you get me?

I love the money of course, don't hate me for it, all of us do, why else would we be in the race of earning it? I mean I'd rather wear designers duh. But the whole point was everything came with its pros and cons.

So I dint want to get anymore fame than I already had so becoming an actress was not a choice, and that's why I chose film making, it was a sort of art and I think I was going to enjoy it.

"So what course?" I asked Jai as I tried to figure where my classes were supposed to be.

"Arts, you?"

"Similar, Film Making." I smiled.

"Great, so I guess we should be heading to our classes, I hope I'll see you around?" Jai asked.

"Sure." I nodded as we both shook hands then went separate ways, as for me I had to ask around until I found my class, it was quite exciting for me, I was eager to get learn this whole film making thing.

Imagine walking into the class the first day and finding it empty, or worse, finding only one person in it, Arnav. I dint even know this guy's full name and I was already irritated by him. Cliché much? I mean he stared me for two minutes straight then passed by me ignoring me, who does that?

I guess this is what they call, 'hating a person without a reason.'

The strangest part of this whole thing was, just when I was outside I saw him head to his car and disappear, so when did he even get back to class before me? And then when he was fighting out there he was dressed like a goon and now he was dressed all official, black trouser, mint shirt and a half sleeved sweater over it, who would wear a sweater in such heat? If you were me, you'd look at him and think this guy seated here was his twin brother.

Oh wait, who knew if maybe he actually had a twin brother who looked exactly like him? Anyway I ignored him and picked a place to seat, I wondered when the class would begin.

I really wish I had friends, well Aditi was too pissed on me right now, it was going to take me forever to earn her forgiveness, and so here I was all alone, I dint even have anyone to talk to about whatever that was going on in my mind.

"If I were you, I wouldn't sit there." I heard a voice from behind me.

"Excuse me?" I said as I turned to look at Arnav, if it was him and not his twin brother.

"All those seats are taking, you don't want to get into an argument with students on your first day."

"Then where am I supposed to seat? I'd have to wait for everyone to attend the class then sit on the one that's left empty." I rolled my eyes.

"The seat next to me is empty is you're okay with that, people avoid seating close to me." He sighed.

"Why? Are you a don or something?" I asked as I picked up my stuff and walked towards him as I settled down beside him.

"Worse than that, I'm a heartless and ruthless man." He smirked.

"So may I know the name of this heartless man?" I asked curiously, right now he dint seem as dangerous as he looked out there, again that was if this guy was actually Arnav and not his twin brother.

I was quite confident this was his twin brother.

"I am Arnav Raizada, and I offered you the seat because you are new now don't talk to me, I am not here to make friends." He said.

"Hi Arnav, I am Khushi Gupta, thanks for asking." I replied sarcastically, so he dint have a twin brother, good because if he had one I have no idea how he could have handled his attitude.

In the next ten minutes, the class was pretty much full and all the seats were occupied just like Arnav had told me, and I believed him when he said no one wanted to seat next to him, because they all were looking at me like I had committed a crime by seating next to him.

If I had a choice, I'd pick a different spot too, but now that I was left with no choice I had to sit here and ignore the fact that he existed.

*****

When the class came to an end, Arnav stood up immediately and walked towards one of the guys that was seated in the front, he grabbed him by the collar and looked at him in an intimidating way.

"You and I have some unfinished business." He pulled him out of the class and I just guessed it was going to be another fight, wow this guy was really weird.

I walked out of my class not knowing what to do next, should I just go home as my next class wasn't until tomorrow or should I just roam around and have a look at the university.

I decided to take the tour before I headed home, so I walked around on my own, I really missed Aditi, I remember the both of us used to walk around the school just like this and make fun of everyone and pull pranks on random people.

I wish she could talk to me, then maybe I could apologize for leaving without informing her.

A few steps further, I found Aditi and Arnav arguing with each other about something, they seemed to be in a very heated argument, I dint even know they knew each other, all I could wonder at the moment though was what they were arguing about.

"This is the last time I'm warning you, stay out of my matters or I'll ruin your life, you know very well I can." Arnav warned Aditi.

"I dare you to." Aditi replied back.

"Great then, let the countdown begin." Arnav said as he walked away furiously, Aditi looked at him as he walked away and once he was gone was when she noticed that I was standing right there.

"What, are you stalking me now?" She asked.

"I was just passing by and I noticed the argument, what's happening Aditi?" I asked.

"Why do you care Khushi? And anyway since you left, a lot of things have changed, just mind your business and stop following me." Aditi said as she walked away from me once again.

I really couldn't understand why she was so angry at me.

"Hey there again." I heard Jai's voice, he walked towards me smiling brightly.

"Hey." I said as I continued looking towards Aditi's direction, she kept on walking and walking until I could no more see her, and not even once did she turn around to look at me. I guess I had lost my best friend the moment I left town without telling her.

"Why are you sad?" Jai asked.

"Because my best friend isn't talking to me, and I just saw her arguing with Arnav, seriously what's his deal?" I asked Jai.

"I don't really know much but I can tell you what I know. He comes from a very rich family, I think the richest one, he is untouchable and he knows that so he keeps on doing horrible things to people knowing he would get away anyhow.

Everyone hates him here, I guess it's just the money and the power he has so he thinks he can't control anything and everything, and when things don't go as he wants, he gets really mad." Jai said.

"I heard him telling Aditi that he will ruin her life, did he really mean it?" I looked at him nervously, no matter whatever that was going on between Aditi and I, she was my best friend, I was always going to look out for her.

"If he said it, he will do it. You don't know Arnav Raizada, he has ruined a lot of lives." Jai said, okay now I was really scared for Aditi, why wasn't she scared for herself?

"Is there a way to stop it?"

"None that I know of, like I told you, that guy is untouchable." Jai said, I shrugged as I started walking, he sounded like one of those very powerful villain you'd watch in movies.

"Thanks for the information Jai, I'm glad I made you a friend, I don't know what I would have done here alone." I smiled at him, well given that Aditi no more wanted to be friends with me, I was basically going to roam alone if it wasn't for Jai.

I mean of course there were some fangirls and boys around but I was least bothered about them.

"No worries. Anyway I'll get going, my classes are over so I guess I'll go home." Jai said as he waved a goodbye at me, I nodded as he walked away.

Suddenly, something clicked my mind so I ran behind him, calling out his name until he stopped and turned to look at me.

"You're going just home or you have plans?" I asked.

"What plans would I have Khushi? I'm a middle class guy studying on scholarship, the only plan I have is to study hard." He laughed.

"How about you come my place for dinner?"

"Won't it be too soon? We met a few hours ago, besides are you ready to trust a guy you know nothing about?"

"I am willing to take the risk, now tell me are you coming or not?"

"Okay fine, I'll come." He agreed.

"Great, we'll go with my car, I'll drop you back home after dinner, is that okay for you?"

"Sure, let's go." He nodded excitedly, well I was excited too, Jai was kind of cute and interesting, I wasn't the kind to usually make friends with people that weren't of my class but I guess things change and maybe I had too.

"Shit, I think I left my keys in the class, head to the parking lot, I'll go get them." I said to Jai as I realized I had no keys in my pocket, he nodded as he headed towards the parking while I ran back to the class to find my keys.

I checked for it where I was seated but it wasn't there, I checked the entire classroom but couldn't find it, dad was going to kill me if he found out someone had stolen my car keys and the car too.

Holy Shit! I hoped the car was still in the parking lot.

"Looking for something?" I heard someone ask, I turned around and saw Arnav standing at the door, he held out the keys to me and I was already furious. I thought he was rich, so why was he stealing my car?

"I dint know there are thieves in this university too, I guess I made the wrong choice." I said as I walked towards him to get the keys.

"Excuse me." he looked offended.

"Give me my keys, who told you to take them?" I tried to take them from him but he wouldn't just give them to me.

"All you had to do was ask nicely, but now that you dared to call me a thief, say goodbye to your car." He smirked proudly as he walked away, I ran behind him but damn, that guy could walk faster than I could run.

I followed him till the parking lot but by the time I was there, he was already inside my car, he waved a goodbye at me and drove off.

"Was that your car?" Jai asked.

"Yeah, that idiot had my keys, I told him he stole them now he's gone with my keys and my car, and he had the guts to tell me to say goodbye to my car, what is he going to do, sell it?" I asked angrily, I really wanted to murder him.

"Worse, he's going to burn it." Jai said.

"You're kidding right?" I asked Jai, he looked pretty serious. Shit, I mean what the hell, how could Arnav burn my car for such a stupid reason? Was he insane or something?

"I am not joking Khushi, he's did that to someone's car on the first day and he got away with it like it was no big deal, I told you that guy is untouchable."

"Jeez, I hate him." I stamped my feet on the ground angrily, first he warns my best friend that he's going to ruin her life and then he goes away with my car, what the hell does he think of himself?
