Chapter 6

Time flies so fast. It is finally lunchtime.

Kezia didn't know what to do. She felt lightheaded. The next thing she knew, she was now with Dino. They are now on the rooftop, the supposed place where they should talk.

She can't help herself. The thought of Dino, liking her didn't leave her mind. She kept entertaining the fact that maybe, Dino likes her.

"Kezia, do you believe in ghosts?" her bubble popped too soon.

Her lips formed a grim line. Oh well, why did I even expect it?

Her brows furrowed once she processed what Dino said.

"Uh. . . Not really." she trailed down.

"What about third eyes?" Dino stared right through her. He doesn't know what reaction awaits him.

Dino decided to help Don Antonio after their conversation. Helping Don Antonio would be hard, he knew that to help the Old Man, he had to talk and admit a lot of things to Kezia. He has to open his closet and reveal the skeletons that he's trying hard to hide.

That's what led him to this situation.

Kezia's brows met again. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"I guess not." Dino nodded at himself.

Kezia scoffed. "Are you trying to mess with me? You know what, I am not up for this thing. I'm leaving."

Kezia turned her back against Dino but before she could take a step. Dino said something that made her world stop turning.

"I saw your Grandpa at your house."

She slowly looked back still with her brows furrowed. "What are you-"

"I saw him sitting at the rocking chair at your veranda. He talked to me while we were together in the kitchen. He was there the whole time we were doing our project. He was there watching and guarding you." Dino remains emotionless, he wants to show Kezia that he is telling the truth.

Kezia scoffed. Her lips trembled as the corner of her eyes trembled. Her breathing became ragged as she glared at Dino, not pleased at all.

"You and your silly jokes. Aren't you being too much? If you have problems with me just tell me! Why do you have to bring up a dead person as if he's alive?"

Dino sighed exasperatedly and messed up his unruly hair. "I know that it may seem like a joke or a prank to you but believe me. What I'm saying is truth and truth alone."

"Do you have any proof?"

"I don't. My proofs are what an ordinary eye can't see. I have a third eye after all."

Silence enveloped the two of them, both are measuring each other's reaction.

"I have no intention of letting you know but your Grandpa asked for a favor. He must've seen you alive and well that's why he finally decided to go, yet his wish is to talk to you before he can do that."
