Chapter 1

On the other hand, Dino is settled at his room. Eyes fixated against his computer screen while playing a cooking game. He was enjoying the peace and serenity that he have because he knows that he'll lose it any minute now.

Suddenly, a cold gush of wind was felt around the room. Dino felt the familiar uncanny feeling. Too familiar cause he grew up with it. The temperature of the room immediately dropped down that made the room chilly.

But since Dino got use to it, despite the chilly feeling, Dino seemed unfazed of it.

Suddenly a girl emerged from the computer screen. Her hair is wet and her face is pale while her lips is dark bluish. The disturbing thing is, she has no eyes. 'Help me." she cried.

Dino remained a stoic expression, he exhaustedly rested his back at the backrest of his swivel chair and massaged the bridged of his nose and sighed as if he carried the world through his shoulders. He can still hear the girl pleading for help. "Annoying." he muttered underneath his breath.

And yes, he can see ghosts. That guy named Dino.

Some say it's a gift but he treated it as if it's a curse, he hates how different he was. How he can see unearthly things that should be at peace now. He hates to see how their grudges are chaining them, hindering them to see the light.

Just like the ghosts he saw, he also felt chained and restricted because of his ability. His ability is not something that he can freely share after all. It's not like you can talk about it to someone like "Hey! I saw a man with no head at the third floor today. Can you believe it?" or like "This girl is a mess. Someone must've drowned her."

Dino looked at the girl who's still pleading with a dead-panned look. "Help me please,"

Hedoesn't know why God gave him the ability to see the dead but because of that,he can't turn a blind eye to those souls who are in need. "Now tell me, what do you need?" he asked the ghost.
