Your POV

I was slashing at a straw dummy with a sword that the captain of the Hyrule Knights gave me, he was watching my swings as I hit the dummy.

"Very good. You have much skill, but you need more training to be as good as any other knight." He said as he walked towards me to examine the dummy. "Your swings are precise, but you put all your strength into the swing. Leaving you not able to move fast enough to dodge."

"Thank you sir, I'll try my best to fix that." I said sheathing the wooden sword in my spare scabbard, he wouldn't let me practice with my real sword.

"Good, why don't you take a brake? Go get some water." He then walked off to check on something else.

I then went to a well and grabbed the wooden bucket after putting away my wooden sword and grabbed my real sword. I then threw the bucket in the well and retrieved some water. I was about to grab a cup to drink with when a hand took the bucket from me.

"Thank you little girl, now why don't you do laundry or something?" A trainee said then laughed along with the others. I glared at him and took the bucket back.

"Sorry but I got water for myself, not for sexist jerks like you." I said. I was about to walk away but I stopped when I heard the trainee.

"Sorry but why is a girl being trained? She's nothing but a weak female who is good at nothing but chores and to bare children, they should just listen to us men."

My full rage came out and I stomped to them. "Oh really? Then why don't we settle this in a duel!" I yelled at him, he blinked but laughed in my face. I then threw the water in the bucket at him, he stopped and glared at me.

His friends tried to hold him back, but once he grabbed his sword they backed off. "I'll show you, you little-" He ran to me but I moved to the side and tripped him, he stumbled and fell onto the ground.

He then got up and I grabbed the sword in my scabbard. He ran towards me and took a swing, but luckily I blocked it with my sword. This kept going for some time, he kept swing and I kept blocking his attacks.

Until I finally took a swing at his feet, he jumped to dodge and I hit him in the stomach with the end of the sword handle. He fell back in pain and tried to get up but I pointed the sword at him, making him flinch and stop.

Link's POV

"Next time you say something about women, make sure it's something nice when I'm around." (Y/n) said as she sheathed her sword and walked away from the shaken guard. I ran to catch up to her.

"You know you can get in trouble for starting a fight." I said as I walked with her.

She looked at me but didn't stop walking. "He's the one who started it by calling me something for everyday things and has to listen to men." She said angrily.

"Well its not like you see a girl training along with grown men on swordmanship." She glared at me and I flinched. "What I meant was that, it's just how it is today. You can't change everything so quickly, but it seems that it might change because of Zelda being the only royalty to control Hyrule."

Her glare softened and she smiled. "I guess you're right." I smiled back and put my arms behind my head.

"So are you still thirsty? You did throw that water at him." I asked stifling a laugh, she giggled but shook her head.

"I'm good, but I really want to hack at something now." I looked at her and got an idea.

"How we spar? It would be good practice for you." I suggested. She thought about it but said yes and we went to the courtyard. I grabbed my sword as she did, I'll go easy on her so she doesn't get hurt.

-Time Skip by lazy me who can't do good action-

After some time sparring I started to feel tired and I could tell she did too. But I wasn't going to stop, I shouldn't have underestimate her. I ran at her to do the final blow, just as I was about to hit her and stop myself she disappeared. I then felt a sword tip on my back, how did she do that?

She moved the sword and dropped on the ground panting, I sheathed my sword and put my hands on my knees panting as well. We looked at each other and started laughing a bit, I could see the trainees looking at us weirdly but I didn't care.

"That was fun! I never had to use my full strength for sword fighting before. And that was my first fighting with my real sword!" She said, I nodded a bit. Wow, she never used her full strength?

"We should do that again sometime, I need to spar with someone strong like you besides the other guards." I held my hand out and she took it so I could help her up, we smiled at each other.

Ba-dump

What the heck was that?

"Well I'll see you around Link!" She waved and ran towards where she lived.

I waved back but stayed there. Why do I feel heat on my cheeks? What was that? Was that my heart? Why did it react like that?

Is it possible that I like (Y/n)?

Me:No I couldn't! I had to have Reader-chan get used to being hylian and her powers and I had to have Link fall for her before he gets separated!

Vio:It would help with the story

Green:I'm surprised they haven't fought yet

Me:Well its a good night for me, because I have SO much soda!!! *gulps down a can* so good!!!

Red:Yep! *gulps down a can as well*

Vio:Oh boy
