Its been a couple of months and Chara promised Frisk she'd get him out of the lab. Of course he trusted her, but she hasn't done anything about it yet. This worried Frisk into thinking she lied to him. However, she went to him one day with a plan.

"Frisk, I had a plan" she said as she walked over to the male in his cage.

"Yah?" He questioned as he looked at her.

She started whispering, "I need you to convince her to let you out of this cage and then go to the amalgamates. Bring them here and I'll be waiting for you. I'll convince her to let you guys free"

"But how will that work?" Frisk asked her, hoping she had an actual good plan.

"Trust me. It will." She said as she left the room.

Frisk took a bit before making a lot of noise, then told Amber to "Eat" him. Alphys came and looked horrified and shocked. 'Oh no! What am I gonna tell the king?!' She panicked as she paced around the room. She thought for a se and opens the door, and took Frisk's 'lifeless' body. She brought it up to her testing table, about to inject DT inside of him. As soon as she turned around with the product, Frisk wasn't there anymore. She definitely panicked now, not after last time.

Frisk snuck around, as he's in the true lab. His cage was located there, so if anyone passed by, they couldn't see him. He ventured forth into the lab, not knowing what's there in store for him.

"I've never seen this part of the lab before......" he said as he goes around to looks round a bit.

He finds 3 more testing tables and 3 sinks. He turns on one sink, which had regular water in it. Then the second one, which had regular water in it. The third some threw out some white goo-y liquid. He backed up as it grew, then it turned into an amalgamate. He went into battle with it as he tried to convince them that he's only here to help them escape. After that battle, he went on to the next as he told the Amalgamate where to go.

After walking for such a long time to find another, it surprised him how big the lab is. He only sang with the amalgamates near him, so to walk out so much to even find one made him question how long it takes them to get I his cell. He found beds, and questioned this as well. He laid down in one of them, making a mental clock of one minute. He felt like something was out to grab him, but nothing did. Instead, he felt his covers move fast over him, then something pats his head as he goes wide-eyed. He turns around to see it disappear before gently saying that he's gonna help them get back to their family. They re-appear and Frisk told them the location to go to. He gets up to look for more.

As he continued walking, he saw a bunch of flowers that reminded him of Flowey, and mirrors. He continues walking until he looked in own mirror and something popped up above his head. It turned into an amalgamate, and he had to fight it as well. He tried his hardest to convince them that he's here to help. They finally take it and Frisk tells them where the other amalgamate. He continues to look for more.

He goes to a room with a lot of dust in the air. He tracked to the other side and pulled the switch. The fans came in and blowed it away, then the particles that were left turned into a smily face. Then it turned into this dog looking amalgamate. Frisk had no where to run so they went into battle. Frisk is a dog himself, so he pets it and plays with it until it turns happy. Then he told it where to go as it happily runs along.

He runs into another amalgamate that had many teeth. To be honest, it was hard for him to fight like this. He's used to just running in and attacking, but these are his friends. So he had to play by the rules and use his soul. Sure, it saved him energy—But it was so boring and hard! He died the first time, but the second time, he finally convinced them that he's trying to help and told them where to go. 

He goes to a refrigerator that turned into an amalgamate. He's never saw this one before...but he's killed one before. They were cold to, and they looked so....helpless? Sad? Chara is really starting to get to him, as he's starting to feel bad for these creatures. He joked, because he wanted to make it smile.

"Is that s'posed to be funny...?" She said as she looked honestly confused.

He smiled as she kept going. He continues to dodge and the he joke again.

"Ha... Ha... Nice try" She said as she started to smile.

He continues to dodge, wanted her to actually smile. He felt so guilty for some reason.

"Ha ha......thank.....you" she said as her smile grew more.

He smiled at this and joked more and more.

"I've heard that one" she said as she started to stop attacking him.

"Ha...ha....I remember that one.....my......son......." she said as her smile faded when mentioning her son. It went into a sorta sad one. He felt like he did something wrong, but she stopped attacking.

"It's better when he does it....." she said as she turns sad.

He spares her and walked to the sad snowdrake.

"Ma'am, imma get you back to your son. I promise you, we're gonna do this. Me and the princess." He said, trying to reassure her.

"But they won't love me...not while I look like this...." she said sadly, but he knows how to make we smile.

"They don't care how you look. They love you for you. You're still a mother and wife to two individuals. They love you for you, and that's enough" he said with a smile, a she learned that from Chara.

"Are you sure?" She asked, as she started to gain confidence.

"I'm positive." He said with a smile and she tried to hug him. He just pants her on the shoulder and told her where to go.

She goes as he starts his journey back. When he walked back, he didn't noticed something......entry's.....? He looks at them, how have he not noticed them before?!

"ENTRY NUMBER 1: This is it... Time to do what the King has asked me to do. I will create the power to free us all. I will unleash the power of the SOUL."

"Hm....." he said as his curiosity started to catch with him.

"ENTRY NUMBER 2: The barrier is locked by SOUL power... Unfortunately, this power cannot be recreated artificially. SOUL power can only be derived from what was once living. So, to create more, we will have to use what we have now... The SOULs of monsters."

"ENTRY NUMBER 3: But extracting a SOUL from a living monster would require incredible power... Besides being impractical, doing so would instantly destroy the SOUL's host. And, unlike the persistent SOULs of humans... The SOULs of most monsters disappear immediately upon death. If only I could make a monster's SOUL last..."

That peaked his interest, but he didn't realize something out of this....not yet anyways.

"ENTRY NUMBER 4: I've been researching humans to see if I can find any info about their SOULS. I ended up snooping around the castle... And found these weird tapes. I don't feel like ASGORE's watched them... I don't think he should."

"Tapes...? What tapes? So I'm not the first to be experimenter on....." he said as he continues to read, "who where they...?" He questioned as he continues.

"ENTRY NUMBER 5: I've done it. Using the blueprints, I've extracted it from the human SOULs. I believe this is what gives their SOULs the strength to persist after death. The will to keep living... The resolve to change fate. Let's call this power... "Determination."

"Isn't that what Chara has...?" He has so many questions, and not enough answers.

"ENTRY NUMBER 6: ASGORE asked everyone outside the city for monsters that had "fallen down." Their bodies came in today. They're still comatose... And soon, they'll all turn into dust. But what happens if I inject "determination" into them? If their SOULS persist after they perish, then... Freedom might be closer than we all thought."

"ENTRY NUMBER 7: We'll need a vessel to wield the monster SOULs when the time comes. After all, a monster cannot absorb the SOULs of other monsters. Just as a human cannot absorb a human SOUL... So then... What about something that's neither human nor monster?"

"Like me? A cursed one? Or something else?" He thought out loud.

"ENTRY NUMBER 8: I've chosen a candidate. I haven't told ASGORE yet, because I want to surprise him with it... In the center of his garden, there's something special. The first golden flower, that grew before all the others. The flower from the outside world. It appeared just before the queen left. I wonder... What happens when something without a SOUL gains the will to live?"

"Flowey.....?" He goes wide-eyed a bit.

"ENTRY NUMBER 9: things aren't going well. none of the bodies have turned into dust, so i can't get the SOULs. i told the families that i would give them the dust back for the funerals. people are starting to ask me what's happening. what do i do?"

That reminded him of Mrs. SnowDrake.....wait a second.....

"ENTRY NUMBER 10: experiments on the vessel are a failure. it doesn't seem to be any different from the control cases. whatever. they're a hassle to work with anyway. the seeds just stick to you, and won't let go..."

"ENTRY NUMBER 11: now that mettaton's made it big, he never talks to me anymore. ... except to ask when i'm going to finish his body. but i'm afraid if i finish his body, he won't need me anymore... then we'll never be friends ever again. ... not to mention, every time i try to work on it, i just get really sweaty..."

"That changed the subject quickly, didn't it." He started to get uninterested.

"ENTRY NUMBER 12: nothing is happening. i don't know what to do. i'll just keep injecting everything with "determination." i want this to work."

"Bad idea, lizard lady." He said as he continued to read.

"ENTRY NUMBER 13: one of the bodies opened its eyes."

"..." he didn't say anything.

"ENTRY NUMBER 14: Everyone that had fallen down... ... has woken up. They're all walking around and talking like nothing is wrong. I thought they were goners...?"

"Interesting...." he said, but is losing track of time.

"ENTRY NUMBER 15: Seems like this research was a dead end... But at least we got a happy ending out of it...? I sent the SOULS and the vessel back to ASGORE. And I called all of the families and told them everyone's alive. I'll send everyone back tomorrow. : )"

"But if they were sent home....then how are they here?" He questioned.

"ENTRY NUMBER 16: no No NO NO NO NO"

"Welp. That answers my question." He said with a "-_-" face.

"ENTRY NUMBER 18: the flower's gone."

"Flowey." He said as he continues to read. He didn't notice he skipped "Entry Number 17".  It didn't light up for him to notice.

"ENTRY NUMBER 19: the families keep calling me to ask when everyone is coming home. what am i supposed to say? i don't even answer the phone anymore."

"ENTRY NUMBER 20: ASGORE left me five messages today. four about everyone being angry. one about this cute teacup he found that looks like me. thanks asgore."

"ENTRY NUMBER 21: i spend all my time at the garbage dump now. it's my element."

"Okay.....that's all?" He questioned, noticing there is no more. He sighed and remembered the mission. He ran to their destination, getting there at the right time and waiting. Chara finally came.

"Come in guys, let's get you out. Frisk, once we step out of this lab, I want to you do something for others to recognize that this isn't a nice place. Make everyone recognize that testing on someone else isn't a good thing." She said as she opens the door for everyone to get out.

The amalgamated follow him out, as Alphys didn't realize yet they were gone. He starts to think for a bit then started his march, not without a song of course.

They make it into a zone where more monsters showed up and saw this. They looked horrified and didn't know what was happening. They started to approach, making the amalgamates scared.

"All my friends are heathens, take it slow" he started.

"Wait for them to ask you who you know" he said looked around as he continued to walk.

"Please don't make any sudden moves." He said and everyone started to calm.

"You don't know the half of the abuse" he said as the others looked confused.

"All my friends are heathens, take it slow" he starts to walk the bridge and looks at them.

"Wait for them to ask you who you know" he said as the amalgamates start getting a bit more confident.

"Please don't make any sudden moves" he said as more started to approached but stopped.

"You don't know the half of the abuse" he said as the  they went into an area where there were a lot of monsters.

"Welcome to the room of people,
who have rooms of people that they loved one day. Docked away." He said as everyone looked at him.

"Just because we check the guns at the door doesn't  mean our brains will change, from hand grenades" he said as everyone's attention went to them.

"You're lovin' on the psychopath sitting next to you, You're lovin' on the murderer sitting next to you, You'll think, 'how'd I get here, sitting next to you?!" He said as he looked forward and continued the march.

"But after all I've said, please don't forget." He said as they continue the march.

"All my friends are heathens, take it slow" the amalgamates started to join in the song.

"Wait for them to ask you who you know" he said as they start to head for the water fall, as they soon made it there.

"Please don't make any sudden moves" he said as some waterfall monsters wanted to approach.

"You don't know the half of the abuse" he said as they travel, the amalgamates continue to follow. They went into an area there there was a lot of waterfall monsters.

All the amalgamates joined in, "We don't deal with outsiders very well.
They say newcomers have a certain smell.  Yeah, I trust issues, not to mention. They say they can smell your intentions" they said to the monsters.

"You're lovin' on the freakshow sitting next to you, You'll have some weird people sitting next to you You'll think 'how did I get here, sitting next to you?'" He said as they looked forward.

"But after all I've said, please don't forget" Frisk said as they started the march.

He said as they continued to walk through the waterfall. Thy soon made it to Snowden, as Frisk as very familiar with this place.

"All my friends are heathens, take it slow" frisk said as thy continued to March. Some monsters recognized the amalgamates.

"Wait for them to ask you who you know" he said as he spotted the young male snowdrake, as he spotted his mother and she did to.

"Please don't make any sudden moves" he said as the son was slowly approaching his mother.

"You don't know the half of the abuse." The monsters approached their loved ones. Some of the amalgamates were gone from the other regions to their family.

"All my friends are heathens, take it slow" he said as some started to leave with their family and he watched.

"All my friends are heathens, take it slow" he smiled when Mrs. SnowDrake hugged her son.

"Wait for them to ask you who you know" almost all of them were gone.

"Why'd you come, you knew you should have stayed. I tried to warn you just to stay away. And now they're outside ready to bust. It looks like you might be one of us" he said as alphys noticed they were gone and he smiled as they went to their families. His ears twitches as he heard Chara run to him and hug him tightly.

He's happy he did something good. But that made him question...he doesn't have any more family...right? He doesn't know anyone from his other family, and they don't know him. He doesn't Carew about anything else now that he was what he wants. Chara convince Alphys to let Frisk go after he exposed her. He no longer has to be tested in and can live a "normal" and "free" life.
