Chapter 11
Mikey's POV
Mr. Y/L/N was still glaring at me. He knows that I did something wrong to her, and I wouldn't blame him. If my daughter attempted suicide, one of the first people I would consider as a suspect would be her friends. But it was a blazing gaze. I felt like he could burn right through my skull with that stare, but for now I had to ignore it. There were other problems to face. Problems like Andrew. (A/N: Yea, that Andrew, the one from the beginning where you thought I put him there to take up empty space. That one.) He frantically walked up to us and asked about her. Same thing I did. Mrs. Y/L/N calmed him down a bit and started to explain what happened. Word gets around quickly I guess. I could see the panic and worry in his green blue eyes. Heh. Those eyes. Y/N always babbled on about them. It was obvious she didn't like him more than a friend, but she was in love with his eyes. Maybe she would cheer up if she saw them, dilating in the bright lights of the hospital. Clashing with hers.
Gerard's POV
The nurse led us to a long hallway full of other nurses and patients. The patients all had different emotions on their faces, different stories. Most of them were bright and cheery, but in some of them, you could tell there was a hint of dread, as if they were only slightly lucky enough to be alive. I was afraid that this was the face I would see on Y/N. The nurse then stopped at the door and grabbed the door knob. She turned it slowly, and I saw her. She was laying in the bed staring up at the television while recordings of The Office were playing on screen. I sort of dropped my eyes to floor, embarrassed for some reason, but when I did eventually look up, she was there, a faint smile on her face. "Oh, hey Gee." Her voice was hoarse and barely there. "Hey, Y/N. How's it going?" I said quietly but loud enough for her to hear me. "Well, besides me almost putting myself in a permanent coma, everything pretty good I guess." That was most likely the nurses cue to leave. I laughed nervously as she made her way on out. I noticed that she was really pale. Almost vampire like. And she seemed very weak. "Uh, so um why'd you want to talk to me first?" She scratched her arm, trying to think of an answer. "I just wanted to talk about random shit. You're good at making up topics on the spot so..." I smiled. "So, why do you think Mikey tried to do that?" She asked, blankly staring at the tv screen. "Honestly, I really don't know. A lot of stuff goes through that boy's mind." She sighed. "Yea, I guess..." I successfully changed the topic so I would make her feel more comfortable, so by the time the nurse came to call me back, we ended up talking about Weird snacks the US didn't have."Tim Tams?! What an amazing name! Why can't we have Tim Tams?" She asked, outraged and offended. "I don't know, guess you'll have to write to the president about that." I said, walking out the door. Her parents were waiting right outside, and had weird smiles on their face as they walked in. I didn't question it, and walked back with the nurse to the waiting room. I then saw Mikey, 5 chairs apart from Andrew. I didn't think he would show up. I greeted Andrew, a worried look on his face, and sat next to Mikey. "What did she say? Was there anything about me?" He asked frantically. I looked at him and simply said, "You'll get to talk to her."
