My Artistic Endeavors

Greetings. This is when I tell you guys about how I've gotten better as an artist. Enjoy.

A few years ago, I didn't know how to draw very well. An example:

Yikes! It's not terrible but it is pretty bad. Problem was, there was a strange psychology about me at the time and I just couldn't figure out that the figures were severely disproportionate.

That drawing I believe is from late 2014/early 2015, but I could be wrong. I didn't date that one(come to think of it, I don't date any of drawings, just the sketchbooks)

Then, a change happened. Here's this picture from spring 2015:

Then, later in the year, I drew this one of the same character:

Her proportions have improved! What happened? I got a new book about drawing manga and comic book characters. It helped with my proportions immensely! Still not perfect, but better.

A fairly recent one of two of my characters that I have decided label as my best drawing:

Not to brag, but the ninja, guys, the ninja!

And here's another one that I drew just a few days ago:

Yeah, his hands could be better, but still.

I have also learned to color :) :

Well, there you have it. How I have improved as an artist.

And mind you, this wasn't overnight; I've gone through a lot of sketchbooks...

So I guess I'll end this with a reminder that practice makes perfect, and don't scorn advice from other artists. You can ignore it, but you never know, it could be useful some day. :)
