'Dis is me No. 46

1: List five to seven facts about one of your novels/fan-fics/stories:

Well, you guys haven't seen any of my personal stories yet (a fact I am very grieved about, but apparently not grieved enough to do something about...) but I can spill some facts to ya'll. It would be my pleasure. :)

My three favorite characters (of mine) are all ISTJs. Yes, I have favorites among my characters. Well, more correctly, I have characters that I spend more time with than others. It's a bad habit and it needs to stop. Some characters are super cool and need more attention, some characters are super cool, but would spoil with more attention. Seriously, I paid attention to this one dude, and the guy got cast out from his people and almost died from depression. I am a terrible person. In this respect.

Adventure Story (as I call it; its' title will be changed later. For brevity in this tag it will be referred to as AS) has been through some changes. It started out this high fantasy meshing of worlds with some cool elven races and one main character, Valdis, was this cool medieval archer guy, and the other was a cool 1700s gentleman, complete with rapier. Now, it's an AU of this world set in like 500-600s Europe. Except for a few scenes in Japan cuz one of the characters is of the shinobi. That's why it's an au.. according to Wikipedia, Ninjas didn't exist until the 1200s, and that would be too much civilization for this story, so I kept it way back when and made it an au. Of course, I could omit the ninja from the story. The story'd be a lot less cool and fun, but also a lot less complicated. Funny how that works...

I have a villain that has blood red eyes. It's induced by this spell that the REAL bad guy has over him, but his natural eyes color is still way more red than any normal human from this world. He's super cool, though. I love him a lot. He's what I'd like to call and anti-villain. (I coined that term right here on the spot). He's not bad at heart, he's just had a rough of it ever since his father died when he was ten *cough* *a death he accidentally and indirectly caused* *cough* *poor dude*. Bro fell in with an evil sorceress who kind took him over. Made him her most devoted servant. With his consent, but dude didn't know what he was getting into. *poor dude*

There's this one character I have, and she was sorely underappreciated for a looooong time. She used to be a "strong female character" on purpose, but then I realized that she's actually super cool and does not deserve to be under the umbrella of "strong" female characters. She's super cool. Strong both physically and emotionally, comes across as this chic chic with a mean punch and bomb martial arts skills. Which she is, but there's more. She's kind, and truly good at heart. She's playful, caring, I wouldn't call her sweet, but borderline. She's just super cool and underappreciated 'cause someone has favorites.

I don't write fanfic, but I have some ideas. The only fanfic I've written you can find in my Short Story book. I got the idea for it when I was with my mom at this restaurant/café, enjoying my lemon cream, pudding, stuff, deliciousness, nonsense... when I suddenly pictured Maglor, sitting by himself at said café, eating cake. Turtle pecan, to be exact. And from there, a little story sprouted. It's unedited, and could use some polishing, but it's not bad. And I have other ideas too, of course.

^Aight, that's five long facts. ^

2: List as many books/series/authors/movies that have influenced your writing (whether you write novels, stories, fan-fics, or all three) that you can.

Authors: Tolkien. I love his eloquence and archaisms. His words are dull to some, but they spark such vivid pictures in my mind. I love it.

C.S. Lewis. I love the charm of his writing. And how he'll occasionally refer to the reader as "you" but it's not second person. And his eloquence.

Frank Peretti. I love his off-hand, realistic, style of writing, and realistic characters and dialogue.

Stephanie Grace Whitson. I like her characters and how they grow and mature through her stories. And her writing style.

Books/movies/etc... Everything I've ever watched or read in some degree. ;D Some more than others, to be sure, but it would take a ghastly long time to list them.

3: Tag twenty people you know write.

Shoot, I don't think I'm even following twenty people... I am following sixteen people. Three of which are collaboration accounts which I'm 90% sure don't respond to tags. Two more are my mother and brother who I'm 90% sure wouldn't respond to a tag. One more... Idk, I kinda followed on impulse.. don't know the person super well... don't think  they'd do a tag anyway... so yeah. So that rules out six people and I'm left with ten. Well, ten shall the number be. ;)

Oh wait, it says twenty people "you know write". Well... SHOOT I DON'T MAKE THE RULES, BUT I CAN BREAK 'EM. TEN SHALL THE NUMBER BE, SAID I, AND SO TEN SHALL THE NUMBER BE.

WHYYYY TAGS WWHHHYYYYY??????? Tagging in the comments....
