Well, it happened. My faithful paper mate mechanical pencil that has served me well for many years, is done. The eraser thingy is shot (my friend's dog chewed it), but that was.. okay, the thing still worked, but the graphite holding push out mechanism is giving out too, so I think it's fair to say that it's just about given up the ghost. It was an excellent pencil while it lasted, but it's time to move on.

So I asked my bro and he gave me a new one! It's pretty much the same thing, but this is 0.7 lead, and the previous one was 0.5. Not that big of a deal, except that we don't have .7, we just have .5 and .9. Whatevs, I can buy some ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

It's new and shiny. And it has eraser.

Well, I have a new pencil. This new pencil will be with me in my purse pretty much wherever I go. It will see new improvements in my artistic skills. It'll be grand. :)
