For autumn_sunfire

I like the pose and everything, but it doesn't look quite Sharp enough. I want to ink it for sure, and hopefully, maybe redraw the whole thing with lighter lines so I can ink it and erase the pencil for a crisp, sharp, detailed looking Culathan. Gotta do justice to the leegeasse somehow ;)

I need to stop drawing bae and work on someone else like good grief attractive people are fun to draw and all but that's like five or six Culathan arts  :P

I had a good streak.. two... months ago. Pretty sure I haven't posted these.

Feanor and Nerdanel. I love everything. I'm especially pleased that Nerdanel came out exactly like I wanted her to.

Caranistir Morofinwe. I was playing around with colored pencils with a friend (take a wild guess as to which one), and got this. I layered so many different shades of red and skin tone to give him that iconic red freckled eternally blushing/sunburnt look that he got from his mom  that now it kinda looks like he has a bad rash... I love how the facial structure and hair and everything turned out.

The three sets of eyes were drawn from a reference, which is why they look so good. The lil blurb at the bottom is my pride and joy.

A piece on the rulers of Beleriand. I like how Maedhros and Fingon turned out; Finrod looks good, but something not quite up to par; I pretty much like how Melian turned out, which is unusual with my attempts at Melian; Thingol and Fingolfin are okay, but I was trying to try out different angles, Fingolfin from slightly below and Thingol from slightly above, and somehow, I don't think it gave quite a satisfactory effect. Turgon was a complete and utter failure. That is not how I wanted my tall boi to look, it's absolutely not right and I can not for the life of me figure out what the problem is and how to fix it.

Masks because masks are terribly comfortable I think everyone will be wearing them in the future and I don't have to draw mouths. A little experiment with drawing the same face again, something I do not excel at, and expressions. I like how it turned out though

The rough draft for one of the Doriath crew. I like how this one turned out. I tried to redo it a bit cleaner and didn't like that one. My art life in a nutshell. Featuring Beleg, Mablung, Luthien, and Daeron, I wanted it to be light and cute. maybe not relevant but fun fact: Finarfin and Luthien were born in the same year.

I really like it and really dislike it at the same time. There's something about it, but something not quite like I wanted it. Facial proportions probably. OH WAIT in the pic his mouth/chin extends out a bit farther than his brow. In my artistic rendering, it all lines up. i was wondering why his nose wasn't quite long enough but if i extended it, it looked too big. :|

Hyungwon is my latest portrait aspire. He has an interesting face, his nose, his lips... I just generally want to be able to draw people. Like look at a person and just go and draw them. Note their key features, what makes their face their face, and be able to put that on paper with pencil.
