Hey guys! It has been a long time since I continued this story (Sorry about that) School has been a busy thing, especially under multiple circumstances. But here I am right now with another chapter!! Before we start I just want to be straight forward to you guys, the readers, that I am not sure when this story will finish. Again due to school being a huge factor in my life (especially it being my last year) Things will get rough for me for multiple reasons. Even as I am typing this right now is one of the few opportunities of me having free time to write. Because of this, I'll again try my best to layout the chapters as much as possible, meaning that you might see errors in grammar or even in story line. But again if you guys don't see me with in a span of 5 plus months, do not be surprise.

Anyways on to the story ladies and gentlemen. I hope you enjoy!

While both uncle and nephew had a one on one talk about dating and philosophy of affection and the meaning of romance, the three remaining people relax in awe as they continue to watch a few nostalgic movies of old films with Thanksgiving themes. The current movie they are watching was called A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

-Living room of the Kirigaya's-

Linus van Pelt: Whats all the commotion?

Charlie Brown: We've got ANOTHER holiday to worry about. It seems Thanksgiving Day is upon us.

Sally Brown: I haven't even finished eating all of my Halloween candy!

Linus van Pelt: Sally, Thanksgiving is a very important holiday. Ours was the first country in the world to make a national holiday to give thanks.

Sally Brown: [to Charlie Brown] Isn't he the cutest thing?

As the three individuals watch the screen emanating by their flat screen TV, both Sugu and Kosuke looked at each other, smiled at each other then glanced over to Shino. To the sudden stare, she was shocked by the sudden change in direction.

"Something wrong?" Wondered Sugu

"Oh nothing, it just that Sally reminded me of a certain girl doing the same exact response to a certain brother of mine." Smiled Sugu

Confused by this statement, she took a moment to process what she said. Then it hit her. Flush of red bounces back to her cheeks once more, trying to regurgitate a response.

"I-I don't know what you mean. How can that girl be like me?"

Kosuke joined in with a mischievous smile.

"It's simple really. She thinks Linus is cute, much like what you think about my cousin am I right?"

"I disagree. There is no proof of that."

On cue this scene came in.

Linus van Pelt: What are you going to do on Thanksgiving, Charlie Brown?

Charlie Brown: My mother and dad, and Sally and I are all going to my grandmother's for dinner.

Sally Brown: Why don't you come along, Linus? We can hold hands under the table.

Hearts began to pop out around Sally's head, symbolizing her affection towards Linus. Bursts of laughter began to sprung as they believe the similarities are truly uncanny. Shino however felt a sudden burst of steam imploded on top of her head, feeling the massive embarrassment physically demonstrated to the two teens.

"O-o-objection! For the record your brother asked me out! Not the other way around!"

"Oh yeah? Well it doesn't change the fact that you wanted to join nonchalantly and how he got excited" Said Sugu

"How did you know that detail?"

"Recorded it."

"WHAT!?!?"

Sugu pulls out her phone and shows a recording of the moment Kazuto invited her. Revealing what she said was true.

"Aaawee ain't that the cutest thing." Said Kosuke

"How the heck did you-"

"I have my ways. You can't object to this."

"I..."

She glance to a direction and sees that Kazuto and Hiromasa came back from the backyard. Shino quickly try to calm down and pretend nothing happened. Confused by what she is doing, Kosuke sees Kazuto and a interesting idea popped out of his mind. He stands up and went towards the incoming men.

"Heeey cousin. Why don't you join us on a nostalgic film of the Holiday?"

"Yeah thats why I came here."

An arm wrapped around Kazuto's neck, being pulled to the couch where Shino sat. Kosuke and Kazuto sat next to her, but how close they were nearly shoulder to shoulder as Kosuke slowly moves him closer. Confused on whats happening, Kazuto felt the shoulder of Shino's and both looked at each other, stunned by the touch. The plan worked.

"Oh haha.... Hey Shino. Wonderful weather we're having?"

Not realizing this, he felt something peculiar, feeling something cold, squishy, and multiple fingers, he came to realize that he was touching her hand. She felt the warmness of his hand, both feeling hot within their chest.

-Few minutes later-

"Aaaah isn't this great? Spending time with the family, watching movies, eating delicious food, and relaxing together. It feels....nice." Said Hiromasa

"You can say that again dad. I hope it can last forever."

Kosuke looks back at Kazuto, retaining the hold he had initially done. He tries to hold his laugh, as he see his younger cousin and his 'friend' watching the movie in embarrassment.

'Curse my crazy cousin! What is he thinking? Holding me down is one thing, but pushing me towards Shino is another. This is so awkward.'

While Kazuto thinking about this, he is not alone thinking about this.

'What's wrong with me? I could have move my hand for him. And yet for some reason, I don't want too. I feel so bad for Kazuto'

The movie is coming towards its end. Hiromasa checks his pocket watch.

"Oh dear, 10:20. Time to sleep kids. Ms. Asada, would you like for me to take you home? Your parents must be worried sick."

Shino looks down in distress.

"I...don't have a family here. I just live by myself."

Hearing this, Sugu came up and slaps him in the shoulder in anger.

"Ah. I'm terribly sorry. I did not mean too I just didn't know-"

"No no its alright. Really."

"Care to stay with us? We do not mind the company." Said Sugu

"Oh no I really shouldn't. I can't interrupt a family reunion like-"

"Its only for tonight. Its the least we can do for you." Said Kosuke

"Indeed. You should, considering that its my fault that I brought a painful memor-"

This time Kosuke punch in on the shoulder, hard enough for him to say ouch. Shino laughs at the sight.

"Alright. I can stay."

"Excellent. Unfortunately due to limited rooms to sleep in, Kosuke you'll be sleeping with Sugu. Uncle you can sleep in my room if you would like."

Kosuke hears this, panicking for his impending doom.

"H-hey now Kazuto. We can talk about thi-"

Sugu pulls him by the ear, escorting him to her room.

"Come on Kosuke. You're coming with me."

"NO!! PLEASE ANYTHING BUT THE CUCUMBER BODY PILLOWS NOOOOO!!!"

The door slammed shut. The screams of terror can be heard outside. Cold sweat started tor drip down on the cheeks of the three.

"I should really talk to her mother about this" Worried Hiromasa

"You really should." Said both Kazuto and Shino.

"Hahaha. I'll do that. Anyways Kazuto, I do not mind sleeping on the couch for tonight. Shino might enjoy your company."

A slight grinned was revealed to the eyes of the two.

"H-hey its not like-"

"I'm aware. Your to innocent to do that sort of thing haha. And don't worry about me. I maybe old, but not that old. Have a goodnight you two! No rough housing in there alright?"

Hiromasa walks away to get ready for bed. Shocked by the feeling, they just went back to his room. While walking there, Kazuto asked a question.

"Hey Shino, what does he mean by that?"

"Ah... you don't want to know."

Puzzled by the statement, they finally arrived at his room. Now debate to who sleeps on the floor remained for the next twenty minutes.

"I'm telling you to sleep on my bed! Your my guess after all."

"Its your room Kazuto! You can take it."

"Ladies first Shino. you can take it."

No comeback for his statement, Shino can't think of anything else to convince him. Only one thing she can think of.

"Ugh fine then. Why don't we just sleep together have you?!"

A moment of silence spread around his room. The response echoed across the room, hearing the distant voice of the girl who started it all.

"Are......a-are you sure about this. I-I mean that sort of thing is for those who are-"

"FRIENDS! just as friends. We'll just split the space between the bed alright? You don't have to keep making things awkward."

"Sorry, sorry...... doesn't matter anyways. I'll get you pajamas from Sugu. Be right back."

Kazuto sprint out to get the pajamas.

-Sugu's Room-

*Knock *Knock *Knock

"Come in!"

"Hey Sugu do you have any...."

Kazuto stopped midway, as he sees a familiar figure hiding in the corner. All huddled up in fetal position. Up and down, up and down, only mumbling different kinds of vegetables in a quick and psychotic manner.

"Lettuce, tomato, artichoke, mushroom, potato, onions, don't get me started on the Zucchini. Oh no no no no noooooo"

"Uh.... could I just get a pair of pajamas from you? Shino needs one."

"Hm? Oh yeah of course! Here."

Sugu check her dresser and finds a pair with a blue background and bright star pattern. He handed to his brother and push him off to the entrance.

"Just letting you know, Hiromasa is going to go over your case with this ridiculous salad shenanigans alright? Already you destroyed Kosuke's mind. He's gonna go vegan at this point!"

"Night Onii-Chan!"

*Slam

Kazuto stood there, staring at the door and still holding the pajamas. While staring at the door. Hiromasa walk by holding a bottle of warm water and sees him staring at his 'sister's' door. Hiromasa wondered if he's ok.

"You alright?"

"......Hey how fast can you get a therapist for my sister?"

"I'll get right on it first thing in the morning."

"Thanks Uncle"

Both members said their good nights and went to their respective rooms. Kazuto came in and sees Shino with a questionable look.

"Sugu at it again?" Wondered Shino

"Yep"

"Destroyed Kosuke's mind"

"Yep"

"Calling a therapist in the morning"

"Yep"

"Therapist gonna end up crying in his sleep?"

"I'm 99.9% sure that will happen."

"Alright"

With the questions aside, Shino changes clothes, right before she took off her shirt, she forgot one more thing.

"Could you step out for a moment."

"Oh right."

A few minutes later, Shino gave him the all clear to come back in. When he returned, he sees her shirt extremely loose, particularly in the chest area. Not even the button is not going up as it should. She pulls out her shirt out just enough to see herself, feeling the disappointment and jealousy of her friends sister.

'Ugh.... why genetics? Why must you be so cruel to women like me.'

Kazuto humored by the sight, asked if she wanted one of his shirts. She accepted the offer. Going through his closet he sees an old, unused white shirt that says 'Just Do It' on the front. Closing his eyes, he lifted the shirt as a signal to take it. She immediately switch shirts and gave him the ok. He looks back and see her once more. Surprisingly it fits her very well, though due to shirt having thin fabric, he was able to see a little bit of the line of her bra. Revealing a luxurious design that could catch any males heart.

'Black bra huh? Niiice.....Doh what am I thinking shes my friend! I can't think about things like that.'

"Is everything ok?"

Kazuto returned to reality and notices a worried Shino.

"No no everything's fine. Lets sleep shall we?"

The two place down a pillow in between them to mark the separation of space. They said their good nights and went to sleep. Or so they thought.

-12:17 a.m-

Looking away from each other in their own place in bed is their attempt in their sleep. Wide eyed and no indication of tiredness, all they could do is just stare at the blank wall.

'Can't sleep. Is it the clothes? The bed? Or is it him? Wonder if I should wake him up.'

'Curse my Insomnia! Wish I had better sleep somehow. Wonder is it because of her. Should I wake her up?'

Both turned around to face each other to wake up their roommate. When they faced each other, all they can see is the pupils of their eyes. Shocked by the sudden closeness, all they could do was to laugh it off.

"Hahaha can't sleep either I take it?" Said Shino

"Haha yeah."

After a few minutes of Awkward silence, Shino again tries to say something.

"So tell me about your uncle and cousin. They are an interesting bunch."

"Well they were actually not as close as they are now. Its a bit of a long story."

"Well we have all night so I don't mind."

Kazuto felt hesitant to respond, knowing the true story behind it is heartbreaking if they had known it.

".....Promise me you won't tell it to anyone?"

Confused by the response, she nodded her head slowly.

"Alright where to begin..... Well as you know when a mother and father love each other very much, Kosuke is born."

"Hahaha Stop it!"

Shino punched him on the shoulder playfully, enjoying the serious yet humorous joke. Kazuto thought the joke was funny as well, laughing it off with her.

"Sorry sorry. But anyways, Uncle Hiromasa once had a wife. She was beautiful, hardworking, and was so loyal to him to the bitter end."

"Sounds like shes the keeper."

"Indeed. She was so kind to me and Sugu, she was like our actual mother. Always looking out for us wherever she goes. She was awesome."

"What were the other two like during that time?"

"Uncle Hiromasa was the same but was less open to us. Kosuke wasn't actually open neither, he was shy to most our family. Only to his parents was he willing to be his true persona. But.... things changed just a few years back."

"What happened?"

Hesitant again about the question. He try to think of another way to respond.

"It's fine if you rather not discuss about it."

"No no I trust you. It's just.... *sigh"

Tears started to flow down his cheek. Shino sees the shining liquid on his face and felt terrible. But before she said something, he stop her.

"Again it's fine. It's just that she..... found another man who she fell in love with more than my uncle. One day he came home and finds his own wife, making out with some young rich guy. Apparently it was his former boss attorney. Half naked, he got furious and start beating the crap out of the guy. He eventually ran out having only his underwear and never came back. The next day they had a long chat about the affair, to which eventually filed a divorce for cheating. She tried to make things up for him, swearing that she will never do anything like that again, but it didn't cut as he completely ignores her until the Christmas reunion with our family."

"But why Christmas?"

"It's because of Kosuke. He was the only thing that kept them together, being born on that day, was the only time they celebrated together as a family. After that they went on to their separate ways. Of course it broke his heart, seeing his mother go away with another man. Luckily, Hiromasa was able to be there to cheer him up and supported him all the way like a father should do."

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry."

"Don't be. It's all in the past. Though if its one things for sure, I will never forget the name of the rich bastard."

"Whats his name?"

"James. He went into hiding after uncle manage to file a court case, but could never do it because they couldn't find him."

"Well tell you what, the next you see him let me join you on a fight ok?"

"Haha seeing the aggressive side of you always intrigues me. But alright."

Silence once again. All they could hear was the breathing of one another.

"Terribly sorry to bring up a sad story at a time like this."

"No I should be sorry. I brought it up in the first place."

Shino then takes the pillow that separated the two and put it on the ground.

"Shino? What are you-"

A sudden amount of weight just hit him on the chest, like someone threw a dodge ball at you on the stomach. He looked down and sees Shino, giving him a full embrace with no hesitation.

"S-shino?"

"Just tonight alright?"

"Huh?!"

"It's my payment for bringing out a painful memory."

He didn't know what to say. All he could do was look down and stare at this unique sight. Feeling her breathe on his chest soothed the boy. Feeling nothing but a mixture of happiness and gratitude. Finally, he decided to return the favor and return the embrace.

"Thanks, Shino."

"Thank you for returning it, Kazuto."

Forgetting what others might think, they kept their position for the rest of their night. Holding each other with great affection, they were able to rest in peace. No nervousness nor awkwardness, only peaceful with a smile upon their faces, knowing they will enjoy their rest together.
