When I opened my eyes the next morning, I was staring at a roof. It didn't look anything like the roof of a hunters tent.

I heard shouts from outside. What? I sat up and saw Jason snoring on his bed. Jason?!

"Oh my gods!" I cried and ran to my drawer. I grabbed out my ripped skinny black jeans and a black skull tank top. I applied some mascara and put on my hunting boots.

I ran out the door and stopped. Camp Halfblood. I'm home.

"Hey Thalia!" I heard and saw Annabeth and Percy coming towards us.

"Hi guys!" I called cheerfully going over to where they were training at the arena.

"We were thinking about going to the beach today. Want to come?" Percy asked.

"Sounds like fun. Who's going?" I asked.

"Uh, Percy, Piper, Jason, Frazel-"

"Who's Frazel?" I asked.

"Frank and Hazel, duh." Percy replied sassily. "Leo, Calypso, Nico, you and I."

For some reason, I got excited when I heard Nico's name. "When are we going?"

Annabeth looked at her watch. "About 12 and it's 11:35 right now." I nodded. "Okay."

I turned around and starting jogging back to the Zeus Cabin.

"See ya!" I called back. Unfortunately, I wasn't watching where I was going and ran into something. Or more like someone. Hands grabbed my shoulders to steady me and the person chuckled.

"You should watch where you're going." I looked up and saw Nico. I never realised it, but he was a few inches taller than me. Stupid immortality.

"Oh sorry Nico."

He smiled. "Are you going to the beach with the others?" He asked.

I nodded. "Are you?" I asked, feeling a bit hopeful.

He nodded but said, "I'm gonna shadow travel instead though. A bit crammy in the van. Wanna come with me?" He looked a bit shy.

"Sure!" I replied. "I'll just go and get my swimmers. Meet you at half blood hill?"

He face brightened up like the su- woah thalia. He nodded. "See ya!" And ran off.

I went inside my cabin and pulled out my black swimming shorts and a black bikini top. I threw a top on to cover for when we weren't swimming. I ran up to Halfblood Hill with a towel and saw Nico there, with black trunks and shirt.

"Thalia?" Annabeth and the others were getting in Argus's van.

"Yeah?" I called back.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm testing out shadow travelling!" I yelled back. She nodded and got in the van.

"Ready?" Nico asked. I nodded, facing him. "Just to warn you though, it might get a bit scary. So be prepared."

I nodded again and he grabbed my hand. "You also might want to hang on tight."

He put his other arm around my waist and shadows started forming around us. It was then like the air was sucked out of me and it was just darkness. I clung onto Nico tight, afraid of what would happen if I let go.

Then, all of a sudden, we were on a beach. I sighed in relief as I layed on the sand and even kissed it. I heard Nico chuckle from behind me.

"Don't like the shadow travel, eh?"

"Not doing that again." I got up as I saw Argus pull up next to the beach. We watched as they got out without noticing us. Nico and I looked eachother and grinned.

With all of their backs to us, we crept up behind them and yelled, "BOO!" Annabeth, Piper, Hazel and Calypso screamed. The boys jumped and spun around with swords in their hands. Luckily we didn't need to duck because we were too busy rolling around on the ground laughing.

Our friends glared down at us. "You should've...seen...your faces!" Nico said between breaths.

I saw Jason still glaring at me. "Did we SHOCK you, Jason?"

Nico and I got into another round of laughter.

Priceless.

After Thalia and I got over our laughing fest, we went down onto the beach.

Us boys took off our shirts and the girls did too, revealing bikinis. Thalia looked beautiful.

All of a sudden, Percy grabbed Annabeth and threw her over his shoulder. He started running into the waves as the laughing/angry Annabeth was carried with him.

Jason must've liked this idea, because then he did exactly the same to Piper as Percy did to Annabeth. Except with less kicking and screaming.

Leo was next, but Calypso was smart and immediantly started running as he got up.

Frank grinned at Hazel. "No! No don't you dare!" But he picked her up, bridal style and dived in. Then we saw hazel come out of the water on a dolphin, yelling, "Frank!" as she fell off. Soon there was just Thalia and I on the beach. I stared at her with a glint in my eye. "No. No don't. No!" I grabbed her, not being familiar with touching someone. I ran at the water and dumped her in.

"NICO DI ANGELO!!" She screamed so loud that everyone looked at us.

I dived under, towards Jason and Piper. I surfaced when I saw their legs and hid behind them.

I gulped when I saw an angry looking Thalia stalking towards me. "Help?" I looked at Piper and Jason with puppy dog eyes. "No way man. You got her angry. I'm not getting into this." They ran off.

"Uh oh." She was standing right infront of me as I waited to get hit. But instead I felt a flick of water.

I opened my eyes to see a playful look on Thalia's face. She splashed me again. I grinned at her evilly and splashed her, right in the face.

"Water fight!" I heard Leo scream.

I swam away from Thalia, but ran into a certain son of Posiedon. I tried swimming away, but then I felt a fist close around me. A big water fist. I yelped as it lifted me up above everyone else. I glared at percy, who looked like he was having alot of fun. Then I saw a figure behind him. Thalia.

She zapped him with electricity, careful not to touch the water, because then we'd all be turned to dust.

The fist turned to water and I fell 50 feet in the air. "Aargh!" I yelled. Just as I was about to hit the water, something stopped me. I saw Jason with his hand out and his eyes closed. Phew.

Then I splatted into the water. (A/N: Is that even a real word?) I got up and saw a smirking Thalia. I splashed her and we got into a fall out water fight.

A few hours later, we were laying on the beach, gasping for breath. I looked over and grinned at thalia.

"I so won that." She rose her eyebrow at me.

"No I did."

"Whatever. We tied then"

"No, I won."

I rolled my eyes. "Fine you did."

I looked back over at her to see startling blue eyes staring at me. Then I found myself lost in them, they were beautiful. They looked they had seen too much and they were constantly changing from shades of blue. I was lost in them, in a maze, like in The Maze Runner.

Until I heard, "Ahem."

My eyes shot up to Percy and Jason. "Sorry to disturb you, lovebirds, but we were thinking about setting up a bonfire." At the word lovebirds, I blushed.

"Lovebirds? Seriously jason?" Thalia said, getting up.

He and Percy looked at eachother and smirked. "You were just both staring into eachothers eyes, like you were in love." Percy said the last part in a sing song voice. Jason turned around and did that thing where it looks like you're making out with someone.

"Oh my gods Jason! Im a hunter! And Di Angelo?!"

I was kind of a bit hurt at these words, but I tried not to show it.

(Still Nico's POV)

Over the next few days, Thalia and I became best friends. She woke me up for breakfast every morning, beause I nearly ALWAYS sleep in. Then we would go and train or sit in the Hades cabin talking.

I also found we have alot in common. She likes Greenday, I like Greenday. She likes black, I like black. She likes horror movies, I like horror movies. And loads more.

On the fifth day she was here, we were sitting against the Zeus Cabin outside, just enjoying eachothers company. At least I was. Anyway, it was silence until Thalia jumped up.

"I have an idea!"

"What?" I asked curiously.

"We should make a cubby house!"

I stared at her. Today she was wearing ripped shorts that obviously used to be jeans, a blue singlet and black Converse Hi Tops. The way the sun shined in her hair-woah Di Angelo. Get back on track.

What was the question? Oh yeah. "What? We're 16 and 17! We're too old!"

"Says who? Anyway, I've got the perfect spot. But you have to promise not to tell anyone. Got it?" She said sternly, pointing her finger at me. Gods she was cute like that...stop it Nico! I mentally slapped myself.

"Uh. Yes."

"Good. Lets go." I followed her behind the Zeus Cabin, just outside the woods. A little bush about the size of a pony was sitting there.

"What the heck?" I said.

"Ssh!" She went up to the hedge and moved the first two branches, then went INSIDE it.

"Uh Thalia?" I whispered, going closer. "I think you just got devoured by a bush."

Then a hand grabbed me and pulled me in.

"What in hades Thalia?!" I looked at her. She shrugged.

I stood up and brushed myself off, only just realising that we were in a room. It was about as big as a cabin and had a couch and flat screen tv.

"Wow." I said, speechless. I ran over to the couch and sat down on it. I saw a stack of dvds and looked at them.

"Every horror movie." Thalia said to me.

"Nuh uh." I replied.

"What?"

My jaw dropped. "You haven't seen What Nightmares Are Made Of?"

She shook her head. I dug into my back pack until I felt the case.

"Ta da!" I brought it out and Thalia looked at it.

"Nope. Never seen it."

I ran over to the tv and put it the dvd player.

"What are you doing?" Thalia asked.

"You haven't seen the scariest movie ever made, so we HAVE to watch it!" I said, jumping back onto the couch. I wriggled around until I was comfortable and moved a couple of cushions.

"You sure know how to make yourself at home, dont you?"

"Yeah." I waved her over and she sat beside me. The movie started playing and it was a scary one.

Thalia started getting scared, I could tell. She had goosebumps and was covering her eyes. I turned it off by the remote.

"Thalia?" I asked. I pried away her hands. She got deeper in the pillows. "Are you okay? Got a bit too scary huh?"

She nodded and yawned.

"I think someone's tired."

She nodded and her head dropped onto my chest. I froze, not sure of what to do. So I put my arms around her.

Soon, sleep overtook me.

Phew! That took a while. 3rd chappie finished! The next is gonna have alot of fluff in it, I promise! Anyway, thanks for reading!
