Logan and Thalia both walked up above deck on topside. Lysander had left a few minutes earlier, and the clouds were slowly clearing away. It was almost noon by the looks of the sun in the sky. Logan turned to say something to Thalia, but all of a sudden, another voice spoke out.
     "Skylord Kal!" The two turned to see Ziska running up towards them, waving.
     Logan smirked. "Oh look, it's your boyfriend." He said. Thalia rolled her eyes. "I'll just meet you on the dock."
     Thalia watched him go, then looked at Ziska as he slowed to a halt in front of her. "How did you do that?" He asked.
     Thalia raised one eyebrow. "Do what?"
     "Take care of the Kraken like that." Ziska elaborated. "You're not a Skylord and you and I both know it. So how did you manage to act like one?"
     Thalia smirked. "We all have our secrets, Ziska." She said.
     "Alright, how about I tell you mine if you tell me yours." Ziska said.
     "Sorry, pretty girl, no can do." Thalia replied. "This is beyond you."
     Ziska smirked. "You think I'm pretty?"
     Thalia looked the blonde up and down. "You're not unattractive, I'll give you that."
     "Well, how about we make a deal." Ziska said. "I'll help you with this mission thing of yours if you go in a date with me."
     Thalia eyed his suspiciously. Without Venom, they needed the extra man and he knew that. Plus she'd seen Ziska in the pirate attack and she was a valuable woman to have around. Besides, Thalia had to admit an evening with her wouldn't exactly be torture, even if she wasn't into girls. But that didn't mean she'd do it. She smiled. "No thank you." She turned and walked down the gangway without another word.
     "Alright, here's what we're gonna do." Thalia said as she joined Logan, Kevin, and Jack. "The execution is at Mario Square in the Coliseum in about fifteen minutes. Jack, you teleport in and grab Ethan. Logan and Venom... I mean Logan, you two in with the crowd and be ready if anything goes wrong which knowing us, it will. Kevin, you and I will stay by the ship and make sure they back alright. Clear?"
     "Clear." Ziska answered.
    Logan eyed him curiously. "What are you doing here?" He asked.
    "Just thought I might help." Ziska replied.
    "Yeah, right." Jack crossed his arms. "I heard you two talking." He smirked at Thalia. "What are you gonna do for your date?"
    Logan blinked in surprise. "Wait, you guys are actually dating?" He asked. "I was just joking!"
    Ziska smirked at him. "Yes, yes we are." He said teasingly.
    Thalia's face flushed. "Look, we don't have time for this!" She snapped. "Good luck to the lot of you and I'll see you in a few."

Jack hid behind a pillar in the Coliseum as Logan hid in the crowd, blending in with the crowd of people waiting for the execution to begin. The drum started to play and two people were led up to the noose. One was a man with red eyes and silver hair. The other was a young woman with jet black hair covering half of her face.
    Logan tightened his grip on his shield. "Ready?" He hesitated a moment, but there was no reply. He looked beside him to see to one was there. It was then that he remembered Venom was gone. He took a deep breath and looked ahead. "Ready as I'll ever be." He said.
    The hooded executioner reached for the lever which would send Ethan to his death and smirked at his prisoner. "Any last words?" Ethan glared at him and he laughed. His grip tightened around the lever.
    Logan's eyes narrowed. "Jack, what the hell are you waiting for?" He murmured under his breath. He looked behind him and his eyes widened. "Oh." There, by the pillar, was the half-enderman being restrained by two squid guards.
     The executioner pulled the lever and the ground dropped out from underneath Ethan. The silver-haired man, unable to speak or cry out, started to let out strained gasping sounds as he tried to breathe unsuccessfully.
     From the pillar, Jack pulled against the guards, but was unable to get away. In a last attempt, he cried out, "DO SOMETHING!"

"So... I heard you and Pete talking." Kevin smirked at Thalia mischievously. "Did he seriously ask you out?"
     "Apparently, yes." Thalia replied.
     "Well, what did you say?" Kevin asked.
     "No." Thalia replied. "Mostly because I saw him 'snogging' Eve last night. Wouldn't trust him as far as I could spit."
     "Oh, girl, forget him, he's a bitch." Kevin said, adopting a lisp.
     Thalia shot a smile in his direction. Kevin smiled back, then both looked ahead. The two remained silent for a few minutes before Thalia closed her eyes and breathed a nervous sigh.
     "God, I hope they don't screw this up..." She murmured.
     "Don't worry, Thalia, they won't." Kevin replied mildly. Thalia looked at him and he froze in hesitation. He looked away and rubbed the back of his neck uncertainly. "Probably..."
     Thalia rolled her eyes and opened her mouth to reply, but then another, commanding voice shouted out first. "Over there! Those two! Get those two!"
     Thalia and Kevin both spun around to see a flock at least a dozen squids floating speedily forward. The two pulled out their weapons and stood back to back, but they were outnumbered and outmatched and they knew it.
     Kevin looked at her and shook his head, his expression deadpan. She sighed and sheathed her sword. Kevin did the same with his axe and dagger and both held up their hands.
     "We surrender."
