Mithra's P.O.V:

I got ready to go to Anirudh's house  and when I came outside from my room, I saw Anirudh's whole family who were sitting there talking with my parents... I was confused to see them in my house... Anirudh's sister Vaishnavi saw me and she quickly came and gave a warm hug to me... Actually, she is my sister-in-law as she married my elder brother Abhinav.... I smiled at her and she smiled widely... I saw my brother who was sitting there... I ran and hugged him as I didn't saw him for some months... Everyone laughed at my act but I didn't cared as my brother means a lot to me.. He hugged me too and wiped off my tears which came out from my eyes without my knowledge...  I sat beside my brother and the conversation started...

Ani's Mom: Naanga sonnadhu unagaluku ok dhaana??

Mithra's Dad: Engalukku Ok dhaanga...

Mithra's Mom: Aama... Already enga paiyan-ah unga ponnuku kalyanam panni vechurukom... Ippo enga ponna-kum unga paiyan-kum kalyanam pannrathu nalladhu dhaan... Engaluku sammadham...

My eyes widened in shock after hearing their conversation... I never expected this step from my family... They just decided this marriage without my permission...   (Stopped Mithra's P.O.V)

Ani's Dad: Edhukkum first unga ponnu kitta oru vartha kettutunga... Idhu ava vazhka dhaana...

Mithra's Mom: Adhellam ava ok dhaan solluva... Anirudh enna avaluku theriyadha paiyan onnum illaye...

Mithra's Dad: Mithra..

Mithra: Appa...

Mithra's Dad: Inga vaa... Unkuda naan pesanum...

Mithra's Dad took her to the balcony... Mithra just stood there facing the other side as tears scrolled down from her eyes...

M's Dad: Mithra... (She slowly turned towards him with her wet eyes).. Edhuku azhara?

Mithra: Onnum illa appa...

M's Dad: Anirudh nalla paiyan dhaan... Unake theriyum avana paththi adhuvum main'ah avan career paththi... Avan unaku kandipa set avaan-u naan nenaikirean ma... But idhu unnoda life nee decide pannu...

Mithra just stood there and was thinking something...

M's Dad: Nee avasara pattu edhuvum decide pannidadha ma because idhu unnoda life... Nee nalla think pannu naan venum-na avangala innoru naal vara soldrean...

Mithra: Appa, ungaluku ok-va pa...

M's Dad: Epdi ma naan Anirudh-ah vendaam nu solluvean... Avan unna nalla padiya paathupaan oru nambika irukku enaku... Adha vida enaku vera enna venum?? Idhu un life nee mudivu pannu.. (he said and made his way to the hall)

Mithra: Appa, naan Anirudh-ah kalyanam pannikurean...

M's Dad: (He smiled widely).. Illa konjam yosichu...

Mithra: Illa pa... Naan kalyanam pannikurean.... Enaku ok dhaan...

Mithra's Dad brought Mithra to the hall and sat on a couch while Mithra sat beside her brother... Mithra smiled at Anirudh who was sitting opposite to her as she didn't minded him till now....

Ani's Mom: Unaku Anirudh-ah kalyanam panna ok thaana ma?? (To Mithra)

Mithra: Okay....

A smile crept on Anirudh's face and then everybody became happy with Mithra's answer... Everybody started to talk happily with each other...

Ani's Mom: Naanga nalla naal paathom.. Marriage 3 months mudinchu vechukalaam... Ippo Engagement vechukalaam... Ok dhaana...

Mithra's gaze straightly turned towards her father.. Her father consoled her with his eyes...

M's Dad: Adhukulla engagement kalyanam ellam epdi... Ava innum studies complete pannala..

Ani's Mom: Adhanaala Enna??? Unga ponna padikurava enga marumagala vanthu padikapora... Studies discontinue panna ellam naanga solla maatom... Ava padichu avaluku pudicha work pannikittum... Unaku Ok dhaana Mithra??

Mithra looked at her parents... Mithra's mother and father looked at her with a pleading eyes... Mithra understood their situation....

Mithra: Enaku Ok dhaan aunty....

Ani's Dad: Aprom enna?? Engagement nadatha vendiyathu dhaan...

They called a priest and arranged the stuffs for the engagement... In that while, Anirudh called up his friends to his engagement and Mithra did that too... Everything was arranged....

Ani's Mom: Ani, Engagement ring enga??

Then only Anirudh remembered about the engagement ring and he took that ring from his suit pocket and gave that to his mother... Ani's Mother showed that to everyone...

Everyone was looking at that gorgeous ring but Mithra's eyes were somewhere else... Her thoughts were distracted by Ani's mother...

Ani's Mom: Mithra, Pudichiruka ma??

Mithra: Pudichiruku aunty...

Ani's Mom: Hmm... Idhu Anirudh unakaga thedi eduthaan theriyuma??

Mithra looked at Anirudh who was standing beside his mother... Anirudh signaled Mithra that he didn't chosen that ring.. Mithra smiled a bit and then the priest called everyone to assemble at the hall... He did some rituals and then he ordered them to change the engagement rings... Mithra extended her hand towards Anirudh but it shivered like hell... Anirudh hold her hand tightly before someone could noticed her shivering... Anirudh slowly placed that ring on her finger and then smiled at her.. She faked a smile at him and insert a ring on his finger which was given to her by her brother... Then they took some photos... Then, Anirudh's friends started to enter the house as they entered the house their eyes widened in shock after they saw Anirudh and Mithra in that situation....

Iyappan: Yean da?? Illa Yean?? Adhukulla Kalyana aasaya unaku??

Anirudh: Dei, Sudden-ah engagement-nu decide pannitaanga da...

Shashank: Ahaan...

Anirudh: Dei podhum da.. Over-ah kalaai kaadheenga..

Mahesh: Why ma?? Neeyum-ah?? 1st year finish panrathu kulla enna avasaram?? (To Mithra)

Mithra remind there silently as she was not in the mood of happiness...

Anirudh: Sajith enga da??

Praveen: Aama da, Sajith enga?? (To Ram)

Ram: Therila machan...

Mahesh: Namma pinnadi dhaana vanthaan??

Mithra was searching for Sajith as she know how he'll react to her... Suddenly, somebody called Mithra's name, she turned back and it was none other than....

Alisha..... She entered the house wearing a saree and she straightly came and hugged Mithra in excitement...

Alisha: Hey, Congrats di... But Why so soon?? You have too much time for this kind of stuffs and all right??

Mithra: Parents decided ya... So, I..

Alisha: Okay, I can understand.. So, Where is your Romeo???

Mithra brought Alisha to Anirudh... At First, Alisha saw Shashank and Praveen crossing her there itself she found something wrongly...

Mithra: This is Anirudh, my fiancee... (Mithra introduced Anirudh to Alisha)

Anirudh and his friends eyes widened after seeing Alisha in front of them... They all were scared and shivered in fear....

Iyappan: Dei, unnoda engagement cancel...

Anirudh: Enna pottu kuduka pora-nu theriyaliye...

Iyappan: Conform-ah nalladha solla maata....

Alisha: Hey Ani... What a surprise?? Seeing after long time right?? You became too smart and handsome...

Mithra: You already know Anirudh ah?? (Acted as she didn't know about their school days)

Alisha: Yeah! We were classmates...

Mithra: Oh! So, You know Anirudh more than me... Can you tell me about him??

Anirudh: Pochu da...

Iyappan: Ava summa irunthaalum iva vida maata pola iruke...

Alisha: He's a great guy from school days itself and he's too dedicated in all his works... He's too caring... Anirudh and Iyappan are such a brilliant musicians from school days... For sure, he'll take care of yourself very well... He is your perfect partner... ANd you can never found anyone else like Anirudh...

Mithra: Oh! (that's all she can say)

Iyappan: Machan, Is this Alisha??

Anirudh: Don't know, machan...

Mithra: I'll be back soon ok... you guys carry on your talks..

Mithra left that place after that everyone was starring Alisha like nothing...

Alisha: Why all you guys are looking at me like this??

Iyappan: Are you really Alisha??

Alisha: Why are you having doubt on that??

Anirudh: You're totally different from school days...

Alisha: Ani, Do you want me to change like that??

Iyappan: Aiyoo... Don't want...

Everyone laughed at Iyappan's comment and they started their conversion and that went on for some time... At the same time, Mithra was searching Sajith... he was no where there so she went upstairs but no one was there.. Suddenly, somebody pulled her inside a room... It was Sajith...

Mithra: Sajith?

Sajith: Do you know what are you doing??

Mithra: Sajith, I..

Sajith: Don't talk anything to me... In the evening, you said like you didn't loved him and you two were just friends but now you're gonna marry him in another three months ah??

Mithra: No, I

Sajith: I said, Don't talk anything.... It's hurting Mithra... Even though you didn't accept my loveI was bit relief when you said that you and him are just friends because I won't get the situation like seeing you with him... But now, you just killed me... How can I see you with him?? How can I face that situation??

Mithra: Sajith... I didn't did anything here... Everything was planned by my parents what can I do?? I want my parents to be happy... So, I accepted this proposal...

Sajith: Oh..ho... Why?? Can't you parents be happy with me?? Or believe in me??

Mithra: Sajith,  Anirudh is my cousin and my parents believe in him more than you... Can't you understand??

Sajith: No Mithra.. Now only I understood everyone.. Everyone wants their life to be settled... No one here is caring about others..

Mithra: Saj..

Sajith: Enough Mithra.. You go and marry him.. He will be your best partner... I'm not at all have the rights to stand beside you...

Mithra feared that someone could see them so she quickly went outside of that place...

Sajith: Mithra.. (She turned back).. I Love You..

She didn't know how to react to him, so she just move out from that place... She went down and saw Anirudh who was sincerely searching for someone... She went near him..

Mithra: Naan unkitta konjam thaniya pesanum...

Anirudh: Naanum dhaan..

Mithra: Terrace-ku polaama?

Anirudh: Okay... Nee poi wait pannu.. naan varean...

Mithra nodded her head and went to the terrace first.... Anirudh quickly ran towards his friend Shashank...

Anirudh: Dei, bouquet enga da??

Shashank gave him an ice blue rose bouquet and Anirudh quickly got that from him..

Shashank: Dialogues ellam niyabagam irukkulla??

Anirudh:  Adhellam solliduvean da... Okay.. Naan porean...

Shashank hugged Anirudh to give him some confidence... They both smiled at each other...

Anirudh's P.O.V:

I slowly headed towards the terrace... My heart literally starts to beat, I was remembering all my dialogues which I prepared to say it to Mithra... Finally, I reached the terrace and saw Mithra who was standing there looking at the moon... I slowly went near her and hided that bouquet behind my back... She slowly turned back and saw me... She smiled at me and I did that too... But her smile faded at a moment..

Mithra: Anirudh, Are you interested in this marriage??

I was shocked by her question.. I never thought she will ask this question to me... I stood there like a statue don't know what to say her... But before I could answer..

Mithra: Really, I'm not at all interested... I didn't ever thought you more than a friend... I don't know what you're thinking about me... But I can't imagine you more than a friend for me... You're have got a good name in my family and that only leads to this marriage.. My father loves you to get as his son-in-law but I don't know how I'm gonna accept you as my husband... I have got stuck in this situation... I'm really sorry to say this to you... What you're thinking??

I was frozen fully by her words... Little drop of tears formed in my eyes... I really can't tolerate that Mithra is saying all this to me... I was thinking deeply of what to say her now... I straightly looked into her eyes which made me to fall for her again... But I controlled myself and was about to say my side but was interrupted by Mithra...

Mithra: What is that bouquet for??

Anirudh: Alisha gave this to me to give you... She got some work to do, so she left by giving this to me.. (I lied to her)

Mithra: Oh! Okay.... So.. (She dragged for sometime)

Anirudh: You're right Mithra.. Your side is right only... I'm just a friend for you.. No girl in your situation will accept this marriage proposal but I know you have did this for your parents... But I really don't know what to do next... So, you itself decide.. (Her face  reaction changed a little bit and I know I was rude to her).. Okay, Mithra don't worry... Let's find some solution... Three months left right??

Mithra: Okay,... (In a low tone)

Anirudh: Let's move... Everybody will be searching for us..

We just moved out from there... We went down and I straightly went to my friends who were standing at the entrance...

Shashank: What happened??

Anirudh: Poda... (In a depressed tone)

Shashank left Anirudh like that as he know Anirudh will surely tell everything after they reach their studio... So, the engagement finished happily as everyone bid a bye and went to their respective houses but three of them that is Mithra, Anirudh and Sajith were totally depressed of the happenings that happened in that engagement... After they all reached their studio, Anirudh told everything that happened at that terrace to his friends and his friend tried their level best to console him but he was keep on crying and shouting in pain... Sajith felt guilty as he was the one who led all this to happen... So, he decided to solve this problem by himself.....

A few months later.......

Mithra's P.O.V:

I was at that same library and took some books and went to the table where I can read all those books peacefully... Anirudh is not here because his classes are going on now, So there are no one to disturb me around here... I was reading the books sincerely suddenly I felt somebody's eyes are on me... I turned and noticed all across the library but no one was there... The guys who was opposite to me was reading his book very sincerely by covering his face... So, I continued reading my book but that same feeling continues in me... I looked at that opposite boy but this time that boy but this time his eyes were looking at mine which made me look at that for a while... I was looking straightly into his eyes..

But suddenly, he got up and moved out from that place... I looked at him from behind to found who it was... He slowly turned towards but Anirudh came in between us and blocked him from me... I pushed Anirudh aside and looked at him but he already left that place... I bit my lips in disappointment and Anirudh was standing there confusedly not knowing what to do...

Anirudh: What happened?? Any Problem??

Mithra: Nothing...

Anirudh: Can we move??

Mithra: Okay..

We moved out from the library and went to our classes as the time runs very fast...

Guy 1: Hey, What are you doing here?? The classes have started already... Come.

Guy 2: Sathish... Avala Pick up pannanum da.,..

Sathish: Yaara??

Another Guy: Adho... (Pointing Mithra)

Sathish: Dei, Eppa paathalum idhaan un velaiya.... Ava unaku set aagamaata vaa...

Another Guy: Yean da??

Sathish: Avaluku already engagement aayiruchu da...

Another guy: Ennada soldra??

Sathish: Aama da... Pakathula irukaan paaru, Anirudh, music director, avan kooda dhaan...

That guys face suddenly goes down and he was disappointed fully...

Sathish: Vijay, Unake theriyum naama inga edhuku vanthurukom-nu aprom poi epdi da love panradhu... Vaa polaam..

Sathish and Vijay left that place and went to their classes... After the classes finished, Sathish and Vijay were on their way to their houses...

Vijay: Dei, Naan mudivu pannitean da...

Sathish: Ennadhu??

Vijay: Naan andha ponna dhaan love panna porean..

Sathish: Dei...

Vijay: Ennada... Avaluka avan kooda engagement dhaana aayirukku innum kalyanam panni kootitu pola illa...

Sathish: Ennamo pannu poda...

Vijay: Naalaiku irundhu paaru, naan enna panna porean nu....
