Jimin sat exhausted as he wiped the blood that stained his face and clothes. Same with Jungkook. Both of them were terrified when last night their eyes started smearing blood.

However Jimin didn't lost hope. He knew the meaning of it almost. He claimed it to be a sign that his pup is trying at least.

"Y-Your eyes are healing" Jungkook muttered with his coarse voice that scared Jimin and made him flinch for a second and then holding the mirror up to examine his mate's words.

"Yeah... T-The veins are gone too" Jungkook nodded as they stood up from the corner. Since last night, they were both snuggled together in a dark corner of their room. Both terrified the previous when they felt the blood oozing out of their eyes.

"It's ok.." Jungkook soothed his mate, holding his mate. Jimin almost teared up, hugging Jungkook too dearly.

"The crescent is sharing everything. Even his efforts" Jungkook whispered to which Jimin just nodded. He was tired of all. Still he hoped the efforts would pay off.

"Let's take a break for a few days, hmm?"

Jungkook suggested and the latter just sniffed with sorrow, covering him all over.

"What about the Northern Pack?"

Jimin questioned back however and Jungkook hummed with an answer lingering his mind.

"My Beta is there. He can handle a few more days"

"Thank you"

They were afternoon hours when Jae-hyun woke up with a loud noise. He was tired from Yesterday's hard work and needed to be replenished with energy, at least enough to polish the blade again.

"The fuck is happening..." Jae-hyun groaned, holding his head that's bursting with migraines. He dragged his feet up towards the end of the cabin, where the door was.

The first thing he saw today was, Eun holding an apple as she held her phone on the other. Meanwhile Chein sat on the floor, caressing his nine tails.

"Oh.. Good Afternoon, Ning" Jae-hyun looked like an owl at this point where his eyes weren't moving while his head did.

It was Eun who greeted him. And Jae-hyun sheepishly smiled, mumbling a 'Good Afternoon'.

Meanwhile Chein just exchanged glances between Eun and Jae-hyun.

"You told me about the hunt... When are you planning to go?"

Jae-hyun smiled at that and answered,

"Once Chein is ready and healed, we'll head to hunt but till then I have to stay"

Eun nodded to that and her gaze fell on Chein who was lacking his true nature today. Today he was down but a good kind of down actually. Today he was collected with his words and expressions.

"Will you mind, Noona?"

Jae-hyun asked with a coarse voice and Eun felt a wave of shock going down her spine. His eyes really resembled Jimin's.

She was still not used to him calling her 'Noona' and that bugged her since she freezes everytime she heard it from him.

After a few seconds, She shook her head, coming out of the trance and Jae-hyun chuckled as he yawned and looked at Chein who just looked at him as if he saw some ghost.

"Where's Jin?" The Omega asked again and Eun laughed.

"He's a Dokkaebi. He is Independent unlike me and Chein so he doesn't really stay with us" She explained and Jae-hyun nodded yawning once yet again.

"Then I'll make something to eat" Jae-hyun said and headed towards the kitchen when he heard Chein choking on air itself as he looked at The Omega with amused looks.

"What?" he asked, annoyed with Chein's overload of expressions today and Eun looked for an explanation towards Chein.

"Never thought you do chores as well"

Jae-hyun chuckled to that.

'After all you ruined my life once'

"I was brought up alone So I know most of the labor. Even Somethings that weren't meant for me. I know everything Chein."

The words brought literal understanding to Eun but metamorphic regret to Chein.

He just felt a stab right on his newly recovered heart that held a lots of emotions and regrets now.

'a Sorry isn't enough'
