In the base, Elena was approaching the command center. She was wearing an old-fashioned white dress. She was preparing something in the area where kids usually spend time watching TV or playing video games. Silver was looking from side what she was doing.

"There. All done," she said.

"What is?" Ratchet asked.

"I'll go visit my Father's and PeaceStar's grave."

"Is it today?"

"Yes."

"Time surely passes quickly here." Ratchet said.

"Well, we humans like to remember certain things while we can." Elena remind.

"I feel there's coming word 'until'."

"Until it's good to left in the past. That usually depends on a lot."

"Well, I have to agree on that. Some bots don't know when to leave some things behind."

"You mean about Cliffjumper?"

"No... maybe...I mean..."

"I believe, what Ratchet tries to say, sometimes is best let certain things into the past. Otherwise, wrong thought will disturb our thinking." Optimus said while came forward to Elena.

"Like a revenge?" Elena asked.

"That for example. Instead, going after M.E.C.H. about what they did to your father, you have decided to leave it to agent Fowler."

"Well, even if I want to, it would be stupid and suicidal. Not to mention they could kill me before I get close to them. Plus, agent Fowler knows what to do."

"But the decision you made is wise. For vengeance can't return our dear ones or change things that had happened."

"I know..." Elena said smiling bit.

"Optimus! Our scanners have detected a Decepticon energy profile," Ratchet reported, "But it's...ancient."

"The past has a way of catching up with the present,"

"If it is ancient, someone must have activated it," Elena suggested.

"The question is who. That worries me." Ratchet said.

"Then it's best to go look what has caused it. Ratchet, call others to command center and prepare the ground bridge."

"Can I come along?" Elena asked.

"Aren't you suppose to go see your father's grave?" Ratchet asked.

"I sure it wouldn't take so long to check what is causing the signal come active. Plus, you may need Star to check where it came."

"This could involve fighting with cons," Optimus said.

"I stay on your shoulder or hide." Elena reply.

Optimus didn't like the idea to bring her, but then again, unlike Miko, she knows when to stay on base and help from Star computer. And she does has a point. They could use her as Star.

So, he agreed.

Soon as others came, Optimus, Elena, Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee passed through Groundbridge and came to the place where they spot the signal. The first thing they spot was a hole on in the ground. Following it they found an entrance to the old ship.

"What happened?" Elena asked.

"This probably crash landed here a long time ago," Arcee explained.

"But since signal came here, this obviously belonged to Decepticons," Bulkhead said.

"By these coordinates, I can think only one possible cargo ship, Harbinger," Optimus said.

Right then, when they kept walking they spot someone.

"Airachnid!" Arcee glared.

"Surrender," Optimus ordered.

Realizing to be outnumbered, Airachnid started to run away. Arcee started to follow her.

"Arcee!" Elena yelled at her. In this, Optimus followed her, until there was a dead end. Airachnid has dug a hole in the rocky wall and Arcee started to follow her.

"ARCEE! WAIT!" he ordered her. He couldn't follow her because the hole was too small for him.

"Optimus, we have to help her, before she does something reckless," Elena said.

Optimus agreed and started to go back where they came, while Bumblebee and Bulkhead get there.

Once outside Optimus looked around where Arcee could be.

"There!" Elena pointed.

They spot Arcee fighting with Airachnid, but soon Airachnid got hold of her.

"Arcee!" Elena yelled.

"Airachnid! Release her!" Optimus demanded while had his gun ready if spider lady tries anything on her.

Airachnid knew she won't be able to defeat Optimus, without getting scratch or two. And she didn't have time for that. So, she let go of Arcee, transformed and left.

Optimus tried to shut her down, but she was far already.

"Arcee, you know better than to engage the enemy on your own," Optimus began reprimanding.

"Not her. Not after what she did to Tailgate" Arcee said in a bitter tone, thinking what Airachnid did to her former partner Tailgate. "She will pay,"

"Revenge will not bring back those we have lost. Is that understood?"

Arcee looked away. She knew Optimus was right, but she couldn't ignore Airachnid. She hasn't just killed Tailgate. She threat SweetStar, Jack, and his mom, June. She wants to hurt her deeply and she won't rest unless she is stopped for good.

Then Bulkhead and Bumblebee resurface with Starscream as a captive, and they're all surprised when the Decepticon says he wants to switch sides and tells where Airachnid is headed. Optimus, Arcee, and Bulkhead went aside to talk while Bumblebee watched over Starscream.

"He's telling the truth about Megatron trying to scrap him," Arcee said. "I saw with my own eyes."

"You're not saying you actually trust Starscream?" Bulkhead asked.

"Trust him? Never. But this may be the one time our objectives align." Arcee suggested.

"You're right to be wary, Bulkhead, But I agree with Arcee." Optimus decided.

"Can we at least keep him tied up for now?" Elena asked. "You can never be sure."

"I agree at least on that," Bulkhead said.

"Very well, then," Optimus said.

It didn't take long to get to the place, where another half of the ship was.

"What do you know?" Bulkhead asked theoretically.

"Still could be a trap," Arcee reminded Bulkhead.

"Starscream's loyalty to Megatron has always been questionable. If he has truly split from the Decepticons, our prisoner's knowledge of their agendas could make him a valuable ally," Optimus declared.

"You don't mean "permanently"? As in keys to the base and everything?"

"However unlikely that scenario, every sentient being, deserves an opportunity for redemption," Optimus reminded.

"Even Bot-killers? Even Airachnid? "

"Without that hope, we may never achieve lasting peace," Optimus remind.

"And in the end, everyone will judge front of a god." Elena finished theatrically.

"(What?)" Bumblebee asked.

"An old saying with us humans. Everyone has a chance to change, but in the end, there comes a time when everyone..."

"Are judged by God. Got it." Arcee said.

Bulkhead picked the Starscream from Optimus's truck, so he could show where the remains of the ship are.

"Bulkhead, Bumblebee, you're with me. Arcee remain with our prisoner,"

"Optimus, please,"Arcee asked, in which he turned around to face her. "For Tailgate,"

"You desire to avenge Tailgate will cloud your judgment." Optimus reminded while continued on his way to the ship.

Elena looked at Arcee who looked bit disappointed. She could tell she didn't want to go against him, yet she wanted to capture Airachnid herself. But he was right in this one. Arcee could do something without thinking, which would allow Airachnid to escape, just like it happened few hour before.

Luckily, thanks to Silver, Elena has learned something about Airachnid. You need to be more clever than her to defeat her.

Optimus, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead kept walking to the direction where the ship was, with their weapons ready.

"Be alert. Airachnid is known to attack from below ground," Optimus reminded.

"Right," Bulkhead said and looked down.

"It could also be possible that she will take a chance to test whatever, she came to get from there," Elena suggested.

"With more reason for us to be alert." Optimus cleared. "Elena, Whatever happens, stay..."

"...on my spot. I know. Just an extra eyes and ears." Elena said.

"If things get out of hand, I want you to run. Knowing what we have learned, Airachnid is even ready to harm humans, Which means she won't think twice about you."

"Got that already when she worked with M.E.C.H," Elena stated the obvious.

As Prime's team approaches the half of Harbinger, Airachnid begins opening fire with the new weapon. Prime's team tries to fire back, but Airachnid dodges them.

"I got her!" Bulkhead said and tried to get closer.

Right then Airachnid aims the weapon at him, in which he froze up.

"Bulkhead!" Elena yelled.

"The Immobilizer. True to its name," Airachnid said and tries aim on Autobots.

Luckily, Optimus and Bumblebee knew to avoid the beams of Immobilizer and take cover by rocks.

But when Optimus tries to take the chance and aim on her, Airachnid has burrowed underground, coming up behind him and Bee.

"Freeze!" Airachnid said and zaps Prime.

"Optimus!" Elena yelled, while Bumblebee picked her up and starts exchanging fire with the Decepticon.

In one moment, Bumblebee took cover behind bigger rocks with Elena.

"(Elena, you must leave.)" Bumblebee peeps to her.

"I'm not leaving you," Elena whispered to him.

"Tell me, bug. Do you think Megatron will enjoy his new trophies? He'll probably use the bulky one here for target practice," Airachnid taunted as she pushed Bulkhead to the ground, "Prime is the true prize. Perhaps he'll adorn the prowl of Megatron's warship."

In this, Airachnid blasts more to get Bumblebee out from his hiding, but the dust kicked up by Airachnid's weapon strikes on a nearby rock gives Bumblebee an idea. He looks on Elena who gets it and nods. He blasts the rock face some more, kicking up a thick cloud of dust. Airachnid sweeps the cloud with the Immobilizer, and when the cloud clears, Bumblebee stands motionless.

"But you, bug? I suspect Megatron will simply dismantle you for spare parts." she says, while goes back to talking to Prime "As a rogue, a scavenger, I should disappear into the night with this treasure. But using it to worm my way into Megatron's favor is too good an opportunity to pass up. Wouldn't you say, Prime?" Airachnid asked from frozen Optimus, "with results like this, I could earn Megatron's eternal trust."

Right then, without her knowing Bumblebee has sneaked behind her and punch her. Thanks to Elena Star protection shield and dust, Bumblebee was protected by Immobilizer's blast. As the Immobilizer is thrown into the air, Bumblebee shoots it and it shatters.

"YOU FOOL!" Airachnid shout.

"Said, that someone who cares, Witch," Elena said to her while Bumblebee started the fire at her. In this Airachnid flees.

"We need to ask Arcee for help," Elena said to Bumblebee, with which he agrees. Bumblebee starts to run where they left Arcee with Starscream, while carried Elena. But when

they got there, to their shock they spot Arcee ready to kill Starscream.

"ARCEE!" Elena yelled.

In this Arcee spots Bumblebee and Elena standing there with worried looks on their optics. In this, she knew she has crossed the limit. She let Starscream go before she took few step and collapsed to the ground. Bumblebee and Elena went check on her, while Starscream disappeared.

"Correction, we need to call to the base," Elena said.

In night time on base, Ratchet has fixed the Immobilizer, which Bee brought back with the team.

"The damage looked bad, but it was a snap to repair, Allowing us to reverse its effect on you.
You should regain your full range of motion before long," Ratchet said to Bulkhead and Optimus, who now managed to move again.

"And...Arcee?" Optimus asked.

"She's rather resilient...for a two-wheeler."

In this, they all looked on Arcee, who sat bit far from others with Elena and Silver. They all discovered now that Starscream killed Cliffjumper. Of course, Arcee discovered it first, and by anger, she started to fight with Starscream. And yes, Starscream took the chance to try to eliminate her and wounded her. Arcee managed, however, to fight back and was about to finish him if it wasn't for Bumblebee and Elena. But didn't change that fact that, Arcee did just what Optimus has warned her. Revenge won't solve anything. And she had learned by the hard way.

"It is the external wounds which take the quickest," Optimus said while came close to her. Arcee looked away since she felt ashamed what she had done.

"I thought that settling scores would allow us to finally move on." Arcee said sadly, "Instead, I chased away any hope of winning this war anytime soon."

"Wisdom cannot be granted. It must be earned. Sometimes at a cost," Optimus said.

Arcee nodded quietly, while Silver whined and rest her head on Arcee's lap.

"Oh no..." Elena said while picked something from her dirty dress. "My gifts are ruined."

"Gifts?" Bulkhead wondered.

Elena shows to them what she had on her small photo frames, that were either dirty or broke or both.

"I wanted to change the frames on my Dad's and PeaceStar's pictures," she explained.

"Is that what you were making on the base?" Ratchet asked. Elena nods to him.

Optimus looks on the frames. In this, he also noticed that Elena has worked hard on them since he notices bandages on her fingers.

"I'm sure they can be fixed," Optimus said to her.

In this Silver get up and goes to look at the frames and agreed with Optimus. They can be fixed.

"Isn't it still late to go there?" Ratchet asked.

"Not if someone comes along," Elena said.

"Then Silver may go with you. Autobots, go get some rest." Optimus told others. In this, they all did.

Optimus hasn't gone to sleep yet. He was waiting for Elena and Silver to return. While waiting, he decided to walk a bit in the base. While he walked he stopped front of quarters of Arcee. He was worried about her. After Elena and Silver went out she left the sick bay without a word. Today was difficult for her. He wished to help her. He wished to...hold her. Hold her, until all her worries would go away.

He knocks the door, but there was no answer. She was probably recharging. no, wait. there was some noise. it was too low. Optimus wouldn't usually enter without permission, but this he would make an exception. He entered her room, which turns out to be empty. Where was she? But there still that sound, but clear now. It came from her personal bathroom.

Optimus came closer to the door and knock it like he did before.

"Arcee?" he asked. No answer. He could hear only water falling into someone, but no sound.

He decided to enter into her bathroom. If she would freak out, he can take it. He looks around, until her figure in shower section. She was sitting there, without her armor letting the water fall over her. she still looked so sad. It seems she wanted to take a shower to make tears flow with the rest of the water. But the sadness was too great and she had fallen to sit there.

"Arcee?"

She didn't seem to hear him. He knew she was in her thoughts. So, he took a towel from near and came to turn off the water. Right when he put a towel over her, she realized he was there.

"Optimus?" Right then she realizes where she was and took hold of a towel to cover her protoform.

"I'm sorry. I..." she tried to say before Optimus embrace her.

"I know you're going through a lot today, Arcee." he said."We all miss those we have lost."

Arcee just rests her head on his chest. Even if she had cried already tears kept coming. But this time, it was different, now that Optimus was near her.

Soon after she calmed down, Optimus picked her up and carried her to her berth. He looked at her for a while, make sure she was alright. Then he caresses her cheek making her lean to his hand. By AllSpark she was so beautiful. He wished to kiss her, touch her, Show how much she means to him. But he didn't want to force her. So, instead he kissed her forehead just to say good night, but before he was leaving, she took hold on his arm.

"Optimus..." she said while looked into his eyes. "Please, stay."

"Very well," he said before he kissed her passionately.

It was still night-time when Arcee felt hands going around the waist under the blanket. Then she felt kisses on her neck.

"You're not planning to leave, aren't you?" she asked.

"No.," said Optimus, when stopped kissing her neck. "I did promise to stay." After that, he kissed her lips passionately. For their first interface, it was... wow. they now just rested and looked into their eyes. They have confessed their feeling to one another and now... here they were. Good thing Elena isn't there to scream 'Oh my gosh!' Speaking of Elena...

"Arcee, I wish to tell you about something," said Optimus, while looked at her. By his tone, it meant it's something important, at least to him.

"about what?" she asked.

"About Elena," he said. "There's something you should know about her..."
