Third Person P.O.V.

Ash: "A mission?"

She asked. Ash was completely stunned, why hadn't he asked Breakdown or Dreadwing? They were far stronger than she was. The only thing that she had was really her ability to read others. She knew pretty much everyone's weaknesses and their strategies. Although no one knew of Ash's gift.

Megatron: "Yes, I want you to spy on the Autobots by joining their ranks."

Ash's optics went wide. How would she be able.... they knew she was a Decepticon! What did Megatron think she could do? Just walk up to the Autobots, hey I was a Decepticon, now I wish to be a Autobot! Yeah like that would work!

Ash: "Lord Megatron, they know I am a Decepticon, how could I join their ranks?"

Megatron smiled, which confused Ash. Ash thought of looking into his mind, but then she realized that she didn't want to know what he was thinking.

Megatron: "We will have to make it appear that you turned your back on the Decepticons. I will have to hurt you to make it seem like you have betrayed me. Not fatally of course."

It was these words that made Ash wish she hadn't been born. She didn't know if she wanted to go on this mission, not because she was afraid of failing the mission, but because she was more afraid of the smile on Megatron's faceplate, what Megatron was thinking. Ash suddenly didn't feel like the brave femme anymore. Although telling Megatron no was a certain death wish for any bot.

Ash: "Understood my liege, but how will they know I am not lying about you injuring me?"

Megatron: "Well because they will have front row seats."

Ash felt like her spark had literally stopped. Primus help me! She silently thought.

Megatron: "And the sooner you start this mission the better. I will injure you, and before I kill you, Optimus will I know for a fact, save you."

Ash gulped. What if Optimus didn't save her at the right moment? Would Megatron really kill her? She was putting all her faith into a Autobot that she didn't even know.

Ash: "Y-Yes Lord Megatron."

She stuttered. Ash knew from the sound in her voice that she definitely showed she was nervous. Which nervousness was very strange from a femme like her.

Megatron: "Good, now follow me." He turned and looked at Soundwave, who had been standing in the corner. "Groundbridge Soundwave."

With that Soundwave opened a bridge, and Megatron walked through with Ash following closely behind.

Megatron turned around and looked at Ash,

Megatron: "I know the Autobots are here, so let's start our plan shall we?"

Ash nodded slowly. She wondered how he would injure her.

As if on cue Megatron pulled his sword out and cut Ash across the spark, not a fatal wound if treated in time, but fatal if left untreated. Ash collapsed almost immediately. She couldn't believe how much pain she felt.

Megatron of course looked down at her faking a angry glare.

Megatron: "I do not put up with traitors!" He yelled,transforming his sword into a gun and pointed it at Ash. Who looked up at Megatron faking terrified optics, although the truth was, she really was terrified.

Before Megatron shot Ash, he was thrown away from her. Ash blinked and saw Optimus and Megatron fighting. Ash flinched in pain when she felt servos grab her.

"Its all right, I am a medic." A bot stated not sounding pleased at all. "The names Ratchet. I am going to take you to base to repair you. Optimus's orders."

Ash vented trying remember that this was the plan. Although it most certainly didn't feel like it. She felt a part in her neck get pinched and she blacked out.

Ash: "W-Where am I?

She asked opening her optics.

Ratchet: "Safe, out of harms way. Healing."

He stated this as if it were obvious. Ash looked around deciding it was best not to sit up. When she didn't see anything interesting she closed her optics. At least until she heard heaving pede steps. She opened them and saw Optimus staring at her.

Optimus: "How are you feeling AshDust?"

He asked sounding somewhat concerned. AshDust mentally facepalmed, obviously he would he concerned, its a Autobot thing!

Ash: "I am alright, how do you know my name?"

Optimus: "Your a Decepticon, we have fought several times."

Ash shrugged slightly.

Ash: "Still I never said my name, and I was a decepticon. Until I betrayed Megatron."

Ash was quite impressed with her lie, as it worked. But the the response didn't come from Optimus,

Ratchet: "And what exactly did you do to betray Megatron, your one of his most loyal followers!"

Ash looked down faking a glimmer of sadness in her optics.

Ash: "I just wanted the war to end, and I guess he thought I supported the Autobots. So he called me a traitor. And one thing lead to another."

Ratchet didn't seem convinced but he didn't say anything.

Optimus: "AshDust will remain here under supervision for now."

Ratchet seemed frustrated,

Ratchet: "But Optimus, a DECEPTICON in the BASE!"

Ash grew annoyed and butted in.

Ash: You can call me Ash, thanks."

She said very sarcastically.

Ratchet: "Pit Spawn."

Ash narrowed her optics although she was weaponless, she could still fight if need be.

Ash: "What did you just call me?"

Ratchet crossed his servos. "Pit Spawn."

Ash was about to say a comeback but Optimus intervened.

Optimus: "Enough."

Ratchet vented in frustration but walked away. Ash closed her optics again concentrating on her breathing. Optimus looked down where she lay.

Optimus: "AshDust, do you wish to join the Autobots?"

Ash gasped opening her optics to look up at him.

Ash: "I thought I would be under supervision because I was a Decepticon."

Optimus nodded, his face expression blank.

Optimus: "And you will, but I believe everyone deserves a second chance. Even you. And from what I saw, you will not be welcomed back to the Decepticons with open arms."

Ash couldn't believe it. Maybe the plan would be easier than she thought it would be.

Ash: "Then I accept. Thank you Optimus."

Optimus nodded. "I will supervise you as will Ratchet."

Ash nodded. She wasnt so happy about that. How will she pass information to Megatron if she couldn't get out of the base or out of their watch? Nope, the plan would be more difficult.

The door opened and a human girl with pink hair ran in. Ash looked at Optimus, who clearly wasn't pleased with the human.

Optimus: "Miko, you shouldn't be in here."

The girl blinked at Optimus and smiled running over to Ash.

Miko: "Hi, I am Miko, what's your name? Where are ya from? Were you really a Decepticon!"

Ash rolled her optics, why was this human asking all these questions.

Ash: "Why are you asking so many questions, your making my processor hurt."

Ash said rubbing her helm. Optimus seemed somewhat relieved that she hadn't attacked Miko.

Miko: "Just answer my questions! PLEASE!"

Ash face palmed and looked at the girl with a irritated glare.

Ash: "My names AshDust, I was a Decepticon. I am clearly from Cybertron like everyone else is. Do you always ask so many questions?"

Miko shrugged."Sometimes I ask more. Raf and Jack should come meet you."

It seemed like Optimus wanted to facepalm from the look on his faceplates. The door opened again and two boys came in. One had glasses and the other didn't.

Jack: "Sorry Optimus, I was looking for Miko."

Miko whined. "Come on Jack, I just wanted to meet the new bot."

Raf: "We have homework to do and there's school tomorrow."

Miko whined again but followed the boys. She turned around and grinned. "Bye Optimus, Bye Dust!" Then the door closed much to Optimus's relief.

Ash frowned. That was the first time anyone had called her Dust.

Optimus vented. "I am sorry for Miko's behavior."

Ash: "Is she always like that?"

Optimus nodded. "Yes."
