Chapter 2
Bulkheads p.o.v
"Excuse me sir!" I walked over to a man. "Yes?" I smiled to him, "I believe this is yours." I moved out of the way to show the man the little girl with her blonde pigtails. "Oh Abigail!" He hugged her. "Thank you oh so much sir," he grabbed her hand with a smile. "You're welcome." I went back to the door to greet people or stand there with a stoic face. "Um sir," I turned back around to see a women. She had a son who was brown headed. "Do you care to um give us another map?" I smiled and leaned over the counter. "Here ya go." She smiled warmly, "thank you sir." I nodded and bent down to the boy, "make sure to look at the T-Rex." He smiled wide and nodded vigorously. They turned and left.
"Hey Brian!" Tom called out. He was my fellow work buddy. "Hey there Tom." He gave me a high five. "How's it been goin?" I shrugged, "as good as it gets I suppose." He nodded, "my kid is graduating tomorrow." He shook his head, "oh how the years go by. You know. I really do wish there was a way to know that you are in the good old days before you have actually left them." I looked at him. He was thinking. I wish there was also. "Me too." He smiled, "well I have to get going. My wife is gonna be calling. Have a good day my friend." I waved to him as he walked out.
An hour later I was closing up the museum. The museum closes early on Sundays. The lights were all that was left to turn off and the TVs. I turned off every single tv except for one. It was talking about WWIII. :.:We have taken the lead with this folks. I believe we have won. We wait here now for the white flag and all men and women are coming home. Again I shall pray for all those out there. Along with the missing unit that did not aboard there helicopter. Amen!:.: I sat there. I was tired of war. The rest of these humans had no idea what else was coming there way. I wish I could just drive to Nevada but it would only put the kids in danger to see them. Our base was gone and Agent Fowler was not available to us for he didn't know where we were located or how to find us. "This will end." I glared and pushed the power off button.

It was now the next week and tomorrow was the new guys appointment. Something kept bugging me about it. I just needed to know. I just want it to happen so it's all over with. I couldn't stand being here much longer. All the paperwork being filled out from day to day. I am ready to leave, I just wanna go back home. I couldn't believe I thought of actually wanting to see those pesky younglings but I needed them.
"Doctor Rick. You're next patient is here." I sighed as I stood. "Come with me." This mans name was Owen. He had a bruised rib that needed to be checked out for about every week for a month. "How is it holding up Mr.Alvis?" His posture went from uncomfortable to happy, "amazing actually. I really think it's almost completely healed." I wanted to be enthusiastic for him also, "Good! I'm super glad." He smiled happily as he got on the examining table. He was about as old as Bumblebee is now. I hope Bumblebee was somewhere safe. "Alright, lay back and relax. I'm just gonna poke. You tell me what hurts." He nodded. I poked him in his side and he shook his head. I poked the rib and he nodded. I felt around there a bit only to feel no sign of a bump. "Well the notch that was there is gone so that's good." Owen looked relieved.
"Thanks Doc." I flinched at that. No one ever called me Doc except for WheelJack and Bulkhead. Never thought I'd say this either but I miss them. I miss the funny name calling, especially when I go through wrenches at them. But now I can't. Instead I stick needles in humans and hit their knee caps to check their reflexes. Oh Primus just lead me home.

I ate the last bit of deer I had. The only real reason I didn't get a job was so the cons couldn't find me easier, it's also super quiet out here. Well, if you don't count all the animals making their daily noises to each other. I would get a job but I didn't see the point I'm gonna be leaving this place soon so I can find the others. "I need something to listen to." I got up and grabbed my throwing knives. I turned on the radio and played something. It had a good beat to it. My target was set against my door. I threw one of my knives and it landed dead center. I smirked, "bullseye."
Three hours later I hiccup. I drank way too much beer. It's buzz making noise, or is that the radio? I groaned and laid back in my lounge chair. "Just sleep." I was pushed into darkness. I could feel myself smiling the hiccups away.

I sat at my kitchen table when I heard a knock at the door signaling me to move my legs. I sighed and stood carrying myself to my door. I opened it to see the mail man. "Package." He grumbled and practically shoved it into my hands and walks away. "Thanks..." I walked back in my house locking my door behind me and setting the package on the table. "Let's see what's in here." Opening it I revealed some of it, I was taken aback. "Medals? Army medals?" It was from WWIII. "They must be mistaken." I ran an hand through my chestnut hair. Then, I saw it. It was his name engraved in it. "Bumblebee?" I gasped. Emotion filling me, "He...oh no. Where is he?" Questions filled me. There, it was one thing after another. It was a Purple Heart medal. Working with the FBI for six months meant you had to learn other things also. He was wounded or...no. "I need to get out of here." I didn't know what to do. "Okay. If they were delivered here..." then anger consumed shock. "Megatron must know where we are all located." I growled. "I'll find you Bumblebee. I hope you are alright."

Buck had fallen asleep against a tree with me last night. This morning he was gone. I saw his tracks leading away from me. I knew he would not be back. That's how war was. Sometimes you just knew. I just know. He left me all my stuff though, that's how you know it's a good man. "Goodbye Buck. I hope you have safe travels." I grabbed my stuff and kept moving. I just had to make it to our helicopters landing. After that I could go home. I was lost in my trance of day dreaming of finding everyone and going back home I hadn't realized a loud sound going off. Then pain. I fell. I practically ate dirt. I looked down to see my leg. The same darn leg! But instead. It was a bullet wound. It went straight through. Scrunching my face up in pain as I made a wrong move.
"Got ya!" I felt two sides of my shirt being pulled on and I was being pulled up. I opened my eyes to see a man. He was the man from earlier. "You gave my friend a concussion. He might as well be dead!" This guy was absolutely furious. "We might as well all be dead!" He was confused when I shouted this. "This is war! People die, people leave, people fall, people go missing, and most of the time they don't make it! I'm in two wars at once right now! I didn't want to come here and risk my life but I'm here because I had to be. I was made to go here." The guy was caught off guard and I shoved him off while aiming my handgun to his head. "There are rules. Don't get caught off guard." I was suppose to protect all life. I wasn't really gonna kill this man was I. Before I knew it, the trigger was pulled. I flinched and I turned pale. A sudden wave of nausea passed through me and I hurled up stomach acid. I hadn't eaten in days. I spit into the dirt. "Never again." I muttered. Shoving the gun in my belt was hard. The blood oozing out of my leg was a wake up call for me to do something. "Aid kit." I grabbed my aid kit from my side pouch then tore out the gaze. "Yet another time." Once I was finished I had to stand using the butt of my gun as a walking stick. There was a good giant limp but I saw the helicopters target each day. "Primus, thank you." I limped there. The helicopter was sounded not far away. "I'm finding you all." My voice was scratchy.

"Sam!" I heard someone squeal behind me. I turned to see a girl. "Hello there." She squealed and I almost held my ear. "Will you sign this?!" It was just a regular piece of paper, "Sure." She left, skipping. I shook my head and walked to my house. The pain in my shoulder immense. "Alright, let's get some painkillers." I fumbled with the keys to my door but made it in. I shut the door behind me and locked it for good measure. Grabbing the pain killers wasn't hard but swallowing was. "Just want a nap!" It was seriously only one o'clock in the afternoon but sleep was calling my name. That long drive home really was a kick in the butt. Well this wasn't my real home but the hotel was good enough. I only had to stay here until my appointment is over tomorrow then I can go back home. I would loose my job most likely now. That's fine with me though, I was prepared to find my family.

No work for me today, thank goodness. Just get to lay back in my backyard in the sun. I would get my butt moving here soon but I just needed to get all the stress from my body before I could put more in it. I always needed some sort of stress reliever. I just couldn't handle all of it at once. "You deserve this!" I listened to the birds chirping above me. At least they were super happy today. I will not ever be fully happy until my family was reunited with me.
Jack was prolly missing me. His mother would be telling him to calm down. She didn't want him to ever think of the bad things that can happen in life. If I was a mother I would be the same way. Maybe not that protective though.

A new base. Agent Fowler had given the new bots a base already. Their names are Jazz, IronHide, Crosshairs, and Drift. They were all different. Oh so different. But, our advantage was they were bots. They got here three months ago.
"GO LONG!" Crosshairs shouted to Jazz. Jazz started sprinting down the base when Crosshairs threw the lob ball. Bulkhead and the rest of the team would. I sighed sadly. Raf patted my back and got back on his laptop looking for any sign of the original bots. Jack was watching IronHide and Drift search for any type of signals on the bots but with no luck. Hot Rod was sitting in the corner his head in his hands. I mentally wanted to beat myself up for how bored I was. I would be much happier about these bots if Bulkhead and WheelJack we're here. I would be much happier if all the bots were here. I just want them home!
