OP: *reads the ask* How long have I known Ratchet? Hm.. Ratchet is indeed my oldest friend; I knew him even before I met Megatron, or before I began to notice the corruption within our society on Cybertron.

Ratchet: *nods his helm, remembering* When he began to notice those things, I was the first he came to to talk about it. 

Taylor: *sitting by his helm* Aw, the best of friends. ^^

OP: Ratchet and I grew very close as the time passed, and even as the war began, and I was new to being a Prime, he was always on my side and a great mentor to me.

Ratchet: *blinks* Mentor?

OP: *not really paying attention* For a medic, he was wise beyond his years and despite his gruffness, new very well how to handle other's struggles and give advice, even if he wasn't entirely sure it would help himself.

Ratchet: *a little touched*

OP: *he's ranting now* He was always willing to help others, which I greatly admired, but what astounded me even more was how he treated me, even before I became a Prime. When I was young, it inspired me to be more attentive to other's and how they handled things, to be more careful and to strive to be someone people could turn to, even if they were someone of more authority.

Ratchet: *very touched*

OP: I don't really know if just "brother" fits... He is someone very close to me that I care very deeply about, but even now can give me guidance, despite that I have been a Prime for many centuries and I am his leader now. I would say he steps into the brother role at times, best friend at others, can be like a mentor, and sometimes even like a sire figure.

Ratchet: *very  touched*

Taylor: *touches his faceplate gently* Wow...

Team Prime: *a bit stunned*

Bulk: Holy scrap...

Smokes: I think I'm beginning to look at Ratchet a little differently now...

Ratchet: *flushes a little*
