"Hey, Scout?"You ask your best friend.

"What's up, (Y/n)?"He says tossing a baseball into the air them catching it.

"I'm your best friend, right?"

He stops tossing and look at you,"Well yeah. What kind of question is that?"He says resumed to toss the ball into the air then catching it.

"Well, since I'm your best friend. You trust me, right?"

"Yeah."

"If you were to tell me a secret. Would you trust me?"

"Um, yeah."

"You sure?"

"(Y/n) where is this going?"He asks a bit impatiently.

"Alright. Do you... Have a crush on anybody?"You ask smirking.

Scout is quiet for a moment blushing a bit,"Um... Y-Yeah. I like someone."

"Ooooh~! Who is it?! Tell me tell me tell me tell me!!"You say jumping up and down excitedly.

"Uhm... I don't know..."He says rubbing the nape of his neck embarrassingly.

"Please?"You beg,"I'm your best friend!"You whine.

He looks at you and chuckles,"Maybe later."

You pout,"Fine!"You say. Scout chuckles as he started to toss the ball in the air then catching it all over again.

{Time Skip}

You and Scout sit in the dining area. You look at him as he ate.

"What?"He asks.

"Now?"You ask.

"Now what?"

"Now can you tell me who you like?"

"No. Later."He says continuing to eat. You roll your eyes,"Fine..."You mouthed and continued to eat.

{Time Skip}

You and Scout were training for the day.

"Now?"

"No. Not now later."

"But that's what you said yesterday. Later is long gone by now."

"Later later then."He says shrugging. He was on the treadmill running as for you. You huff out,"Fine."

{Time Skip}

You were in battle. You look over at Scout who was beating the crap out of a (RED/BLU) Engineer with his bat.

"NOW?!"You ask yelling over the explosions, shooting, and yells.

He looks over at you and shook his head,"Not now! Later!"

"But you just-!"

"Later later later later!"Scout says.

You groan in frustration,"FINE!"You yell.

{Time Skip}

You and Scout were playing Mortal Combat. You were ticked off. All because Scout won't tell you who he liked. You've been asking for a week now and he still never told you.

"Scout."You say.

"Yeah?"

"Tell me now. It's been a freakin' week. And all you have been telling me was a whole bunch of "later"."

"Meh. When I feel like telling you."He says.

You growl,"Scout! I swear to god! Tell me now!"

"I'll tell you when I want to tell you."He says.

"Ugh! Fine! Let's play this versus against one another! If I win, you tell me who you like. And if you win, I'll let you borrow my favorite gun for a week."

"Deal."

You two played versus against each other. With angry button pressing from you and Scout. You won.

"What?! This sucks!"Scout says.

You laugh maniacally,"Now you have to tell me who you like now!"

"No!"He says.

"A deal's a deal, Scout. Now spill it."You say.

Scout sighs. "I like...."

You held your breath.

"Myself."He says smirking.

You frown,"Besides yourself, dumbass. I already know you like yourself."

Scout groans. He sighs and looks at you,"I... I like... Ilikeyou(Y/n)becauseyou'rereallypretty!"Scout confessed faster than he could run looking away from you embarrassingly.

He might have said it quickly. But got every word he just said.

"Oh, Scoutty. I like you too."You say. He looks at you with his eyes widened.

"You...? You like me?"

You nod. Scout smirks then crashes his lips onto yours. You smile slightly and kissed him back.

Spy was walking by and he sees you and Scout making out. He smirks,"Like 'ow zey always say when two best friends fall in love wiz each ozer."

Scout looks up at him,"Go to hell, Spy."

"Well I already am in hell since I wiz all of you."Spy says.

"OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!"Everyone besides you and Scout say.

"YOU JUST GOT OWNED, LADDIE!"Demoman says.

"MURGH! (BURN!)"Pyro says with his word being muffled by his mask.

"You guys do know you were all part of this comeback in Spy's insult, right?"You ask them. The men shut up.

"True."Engineer says.

"Ja."Says Medic.

All the men shook their heads in disappointment and walked away. You and Scout looked at each other and shrugged. Scout pecks at your cheek and moving away going back to the video game. You smile as you both continued to play Mortal Combat.
