(The Vampires Desire) X Vampire! Medic Part 2

I know this was requested by someone, but like I said, for some reason I can't see the requests atm, so enjoy random person!

You were sitting in your cottage in your village, reading your favorite book while nestled in your window seat with a blanket. It was a calm night, about a month since you last saw the vampire. Your friends had all warned you to stay away from the woods from then on, but to be honest you wanted to meet him again. There was.... Something about him, that you just couldn't place, that you... Liked. He was so mysterious, and although he did scare you, he left an imprint in your mind that was hard to erase.
The full moon was shining above, but it was obvious that was not the cause of a sudden familiar bright flash outside your window.
You whipped your head around and looked out your window, seeing nothing. Shrugging it off, you went back to reading.
"Snap!"
A twig cracked in two outside, and you jumped at the sudden noise. Curious, you looked out the window and saw nothing. Perhaps it was a creature of the woods?
Curiosity overtook you, and you set down the book, getting out of your comfortable position and headed outside. Turning the corner, you went to the side of your cottage, and saw a large twig on the ground, broken in two. You bent down and picked it up, turning it over in your hands. Shrugging, you threw it on the ground and turned around only to be met face to face with the upside down vampire from before. You screamed, jumping backwards.
"Hallo, fräu..." He said in that deep voice of his.
"D-don't hurt m-me, p-please..." You said, backing up.
"Do not vorry, liebe.... I vill not hurt jou, zhat is, if jou don't squirm...." He suddenly flashed into a bat, and grabbed the back of your shirt roughly, lifting you into the air. You screamed, heights were terrifying!
You curled into a ball, covering your eyes with your hands, letting out a squeak of terror.
"Shhh, zhere iz no reason to be afraid, liebe. Open jour eyes, bitte..." The vampire murmured. You tentatively obeyed, removing your hands from your eyes. And what you beheld, amazed you.
You were flying above the clouds, moonlight castings its soft glow on top of the fluffy masses, stars lighting up the sky beautifully. You hesitantly reached down, running your arms through the clouds. You giggled, which soon bubbled into a laugh. Suddenly, the vampire dived down through the clouds and you laughed, letting the clouds run through your fingers like mist.
The large mountain that loomed near your village was in front of you, moon shining behind it like a giant gleaming saucer, but as you got closer, you noticed a large castle built into the side of it. It looked old, in shambles, but still beautiful. It had a medieval flair to it, giving it a unique shine.
The vampire slowly descended to a small balcony with two gargoyles on it and landed, setting you down softly. He then turned from his bat form into his vampire form, and chuckled.
"I'm guessing jou liked zhat flight, Ja?" He asked. You almost nodded, but then realized your situation and backed away cautiously. You reached the edge of the balcony and looked over the railing.
A long drop turned into a sheer cliff and tumbled into the woods. You shivered, looking back at the vampire.
"I knew I should've worn garlic..." You murmured. But he heard.
"Aha, but zhat only makes zhe blood taste sour!" You looked at him, mortified. He chuckled.
"Ah, not zhat I'm going to drink jours zho! Jou're... Jou're too schön to do so..."
Schön? Doesn't that mean... Beautiful?
You blushed, pushing the though away. He moved suddenly towards you, eyes shining, and you shied away, afraid of what he could do. You gave him a scared look and he seemed to have a flash of hurt in his eyes for second. He backed up again and sighed, his eyes going dull again, sitting down and resting his head on his hands. He looked tired and defeated, and you didn't know what to do. Cheer up the vampire? I mean, he is just like you and me, only difference is that he eats blood, right? Also, he's kinda the only way out, soooo...
"W-what's wrong?" You venture. Might as well play along, he literally can decide whether you live or die in five seconds, anyway.
He looked up and opened his mouth to say something, but closed it. He then opened it again, but lost confidence halfway through his sentence.
"It's just... Tha- I- argh, jou vould not understand." He looked down, and you gazed at him sympathetically.
"No, no, tell me! My mother used to say, if something is bothering you, it's always best to get it off your chest."
He looked up.
"Used to?"
"Y-yeah... My mothers been dead for a good three years now... But never mind me, what's bothering you?" He gulped and stood, walking up to you.
"Nozhing, but..." He grasped your small hands in his large ones, and you looked up at him, gazing into his blood red eyes in confusion.
He hesitated, looking unsure of himself, but righted his composure and looked back at you with determined eyes.
"V-vould jou like to haff dinner vith me, fräulien?" You sigh, seeing as this man was your only escape anyways.
"As l-long as we don't eat blood and guts, I'll be fine with it..." You agreed.
He clapped his hands happily and clasped his hand firmly on yours. You looked up at him and blushed and he flashed a devilish smile. He then led you at a fast pace through the balcony door, into a room, out the room, down a long hallway, up some stairs, down some stairs, sideways some stairs, diagonal some stairs, by a endless hallway with a floating candle, past a room with floating objects and a floating green gypsy ball, past a clock ticking thirteen, and into a large dining hall with tall stained glass windows. You looked around in wonderment, taking in the view.
The large room beheld tall stained glass windows that had moonlight pouring through them, and a crystal chandelier that hung over a large, long, wooden table.
The vampire smirked.
"Beautiful, Ja?" You absentmindedly nodded.
"But of course it pales in comparison to jour beauty..." You blushed and all of the sudden found your feet interesting.
Suddenly, a snowy white dove cooed, fluttering down from its perch high above and flapping in your face.
"Gahaaack!" You sputtered. The dove then landed on your head, nestling itself in your (h/c) hair.
"Archimedes, no!" He said, trying to swat the dove away. Archimedes gave a defiant coo, and turned his tail feathers at the vampire. You giggled, reaching up to pet the dove. It was pretty, and had red stains on its soft feathers. Archimedes rubbed his head against your hand like a cat, and cooed happily.
"Aww, I think he likes me!" You exclaimed, giggling.
"Ugh..." The vampire sighed. "Archimedes! It is past jour bedtime!" He said sternly. The dove cooed again and fluttered up to a high pillar along with a few other doves, shaking his tail feathers at the vampire defiantly once he got comfy. The vampire groaned and face-palmed. This made you giggle, and the vampire remembered your presence and looked up. He then motioned for you to follow and led you to the large table in the center of the room, and pulled out a fancy wooden chair for you. You gladly accepted and the vampire took his own seat.
"So, where's the food?" The vampire merely smirked at you. You raised one eyebrow slowly and he chuckled. He then cleared his throat and clapped his hands three times and waved one finger towards the table, and poof! Magical food appeared. Well, not magical food, just normal food you'd find at a feast, but you know what I mean.
You stared hungrily at all that was available. Fresh beans, potatoes, corn, some turkey, chicken, nuts, fruits, vegetable, all sorts of food!
You could feel your mouth water as the enticing scents reached your nose, and the vampire chuckled again.
"Go ahead and dig i-"
He couldn't even finish his sentence because faster than light your arm bolted out and grabbed all sorts of food. Hungrily wolfing them down, you hadn't realized you were in company of a vampire. You looked down at your plate that had a gigantic cooked chicken on it. You giggled awkwardly.
"Heheh.... Want some?" You held out a chicken leg. He merely shook his head.
"I vish, but us vampires cannot digest zhis human food." You made a silent 'O' with your mouth and stuck the chicken leg in your mouth hungrily. After finishing that up, you looked up at the vampire who was watching you eat intently.
"So..." You started awkwardly. He blinked. "I uh, I never did get your name..." He laughed.
"Oh, how rude of me! Mein name ist Josef. Und dir?"
"My names (y/n)."
"(Y/n)...." He said in amazement. You cocked an eyebrow.
"Is there something... wrong?"
"No, no, no! It's a pretty name. It suits somevone pretty like jou." He said quickly. You blushed and accepted the compliment with a small thanks.
The two of you chatted away for what seemed like forever, talking about daily things like annoyances and likes and dislikes. You found out actually that the two of you had a lot in common, of course minus the fact that he's a vampire and you're not. You slowly grew less and less nervous around him, and actually started to enjoy his company.
Sooner than you would have liked, an rather old looking grandfather clock chimed signaling another hour had passed, and it was almost sunrise.
You slowly stood up, thanking him for the lovely dinner.
"I need to go, if I'm gone for much longer the whole village will be looking for me... After all, an 'angry vampire' threatened to suck my blood!" You said the last part light-heartedly, earning a laugh from Josef.
"Agh, Ja... I guess jou are right. I-" Josef was suddenly cut off as a horde of doves came frantically zooming at him, knocking him over and onto the ground.
You stared at the scene in amusement as many doves covered him, covering him completely under a thick blanket of fluttering doves. He reached his arm up in the air through the thick mass of doves, clenching his fist right before it was dragged back down by a dove. You decided now was the time to step in and shooed off all of the doves. Josef grabbed your hand and stood.
"Danke." He said. "I just don't know vhat got into zhem..." Suddenly Archimedes landed on his shoulder and started cooing frantically.
"Vhat? Nein, ve need to secure zhe-"
CRASH!
"Freeze! Don't anybody move!" Yelled a gruff voice. You whipped your head towards the noise to see a ton of your villagers, clad in pitch forks, torches, and garlic, whom had burst through the door using a gigantic log from the nearby forest. Josef gasped and got in a protective stance in front of you, his eyes shining. Suddenly, one of the villagers cried out noticing you, and they all ran at you, pushing Josef roughly aside and circled around you.
Your dad ran up to you, grasping your small hands in his.
"(Y/n)! Are you okay!? You gave me a heart attack!!" He yelled. You looked up at him.
"Yeah, I'm okay, but Josef is in trouble!" You saw Josef behind your dad, being encircled by angry villagers with pitch forks and torches. You pushed past your dad but he grabbed your hand and dragged you back.
"Oh, no you don't missy! You're coming with me, and don't worry! We will dispose of the vampire so he can't hurt you anymore." He said, dragging you away towards the door. It was just starting to rain, a thick drizzle falling lightly down outside. Thunder crashed and you yelled out.
"Josef! Jo-" your dad cut you off by roughly grabbing you and pulling you away, and try as you might, you couldn't go back and help Josef.
Looking up, he saw you being pulled away and let out an outrageous roar, pushing back all the villagers with his magic. Running over the dazed villagers, he ran outside to the large bridge where you were, looking around frantically until spotting you.
Your dad was carrying you slung over his back, and you tried getting away.
"No, Josef is in trou- Josef!" You cried, seeing him. He was coming at a full run towards you. You pushed against your dads back, catching him off guard, causing him to drop you. You stood as quickly as you could and ran at full speed to Josef and caught him in a big hug.
"Are you ok? They didn't hurt you, did th-"
"(Y/n)!" Your dad ripped you from Josef and swung a punch, hitting him straight in the nose. You fell to the ground, and looked up to see a very miffed Josef glaring at your dad. Your dad backed up slightly, getting in an protective stance. Josef sniffed and wiped his now bloody nose on his sleeve.
"(Y/n), run..." He growled, pulling up his sleeves.
"No." You said, struggling to stand up. You finally stood up and started going towards Josef again, only to be stopped by your dad again.
"(Y/n), RUN. He's a monster..." He said sternly, pushing you back. You stumbled over a rock and fell backwards, landing on your back. Josef started circling the man, and he soon followed his every move, not wanting to strike first.
It all happened so quick, you barely had time to get out of the way.
Josef shot his arm forward like lighting, and your father grabbed it, twisting it. He then threw him aside, but Josef landed on his feet and regained his balance, going straight at him. Instead of running into him like he expected, Josef dodged to the side and ran around him, locking his arms in the back. Yanking him up by the arms, your dad let out a painful cry, and Josef dangled him over the edge of the bridge. Lighting flashed and you didn't know what to do.
Save your dad? Or go with Josef?
You decided wth trying to save both, to try and make some compromise or communication. So, you started pounding your fists on the enraged vampires back, trying to get him to stop. Tears started forming on your eyes and you couldn't hold them back as they poured like a water fall. Josef reached his hand back and put it on your face, slowly pushing you backwards while death-glaring at your dad the whole time. He growled.
"Please, have mercy! Mercy!" Your dad begged, being held over the edge of the bridge by Josef. Down far below was a thick forest with pine trees, so far down it was just a blur of green spikes. You beat your hands on Josef's back again, trying to get his attention.
"Let him go..!" You shouted over the rolling thunder. It started raining harder and Josef looked back for a quick second at your tear stained face, illuminated for a second by a flash of lighting. His gaze softened and he pulled your dad back over the edge, throwing him down to the side in a small puddle, coughing.
He embraced you and you returned the hug, sniffling. You hooked your head around his neck, taking deep breathes. He started stroking your hair, soothing you more. You closed your eyes for a second, relaxing to the sound of the thunderstorm and his steady breathing.
When you opened your eyes, you saw the outline of your dad with a knife raised, ready to strike.
"Josef, look out!" You said, eyes widening as your dad started to bring the knife down. You panicked and pushed Josef aside as hard as you could, but not being able to get out of the way in time. You took the stab straight to the heart. And let me tell you, it. Hurt. Like. Hell.
Your eyes widened as you let out an agonizing gurgle, falling on your knees. Josef gasped, and your father dropped his knife.
"What have I done..." He breathed. The world started fading in and out, and the last thing you saw was Josef, trembling, shaking your shoulders.
"Bitte nein.... Vake up.... Don't leave me so.... Why me..." Bits and pieces of sentences started fading in and out and you started drifting away. Your vision went red and blurry and you felt at peace for once in your life. It felt like you were floating in a void, drifting lazily to wherever the flow of things took you, kind of like drifting at sea. Then, everything became black.
