"Heavy... likes leetle (y/n).." Heavy told Medic. Heavy looked away shyly.
Medic's hand immediately flew to his chin, brainstorming cliche movie ideas to get the two together. He'd always wanted to play matchmaker, and this was his chance..! Although, Heavy was extremely shy around you. No matter what he would try, it seemed it wouldn't work, due to the fact you were oblivious to Heavy's feelings.
Heavy sat there like a slug, looking utterly defeated, slumped in a tiny chair in the medics room. His eyes were trained on the floor, his brows furrowed in concentration. How could he tell you in a special way that he liked you?
The two men sat in deep thought. Medic flopped backwards on his bed, and Heavy rested his head in his hands. They were in such deep thought, they failed to realize the door opening with a click.
"What, are yah guys poopin' or somethin?" Scouts voice called from the doorway.
Heavy groaned in anger, moving up to stand and block the doorway from Scout so he couldn't enter. He crossed his arms, slowly pushing Scout out without even touching him, his glare being enough to unnerve him. Scouts backpedaling was enough for Heavy, and he grunted in content.
"Heavy is thinking plans with Medic. Scout will leave." He slammed the door.
"What?! I just wanted a band-aid!!" Scout shouted, pounding on the door. He kept pounding, and a large groan was heard from inside along with Medic's muffled voice.
"Herr Heavy, I don't zhink jou shou-!"
A second later the door opened, and two large hands shot out, throwing a large white medicine cabinet at the Scout. He screamed like a little girl and turned to run, but it trapped him under it with the sound of a loud bang and crash, and the clanging of medicine falling out of it, rolling all over the floor. Medic's door closed with a slam.
-Meanwhile-
You were reading peacefully in your room when you heard a loud clanging noise, and something that sounded like maracas rolling and bumping against your door. Out of sheer curiosity you got up and moved to the door.
Upon opening your door, you saw tons and tons of medicine bottles, their pills shaking as they rolled, bounding down the hall, settling after a while of rolling. You cocked your head.
"What in the hell...?"
Your question was answered as you traced their paths down the hall. On either side there were rooms for all the mercenaries, with Medic's room at the end. Scout was crushed under Medic's medicine cabinet outside of it, weakly calling for help.
Sighing, you ran over and tried to lift the cabinet off of Scout. But it was to no avail. Perhaps Heavy could lift it?
You looked around. You could check his room, but chances are he was in Medic's room because he's the only one who would be able to even lift the medicine cabinet from in there. Besides, if he's not in there, you could just ask Medic where he went. The two were close friends, and you kind of shipped them.
You knocked on Medic's door, and Heavy opened it forcefully.
"Heavy said leetle Scout is to-!!" he stopped, slowly looking down, and his expression softened as he looked at you.
"Uh... come in." He gestured for you to come in, and closed the door behind you.
"Well, I kind of came in here to ask for help lifting the cabinet off Scout, but I can see now you guys are busy, so I guess I'll just leave.." you backed away.
"Nein, jou're fine (class name), herr Heavy vas just leaving."
"Heavy was to leave..?" Heavy looked at Medic, who gave him the Lenny face. Heavy sighed.
"Da. I will lift cabinet off Scout if it pleases (y/n).."
"Thanks Misha!" You cooed, hugging his arm. He gave you a skeptical look, as you had called him Misha instead of Heavy.
"What? You called me by my first name!" You said, playfully punching his arm. Heavy had this 'oh crap' look on his face, and you laughed, adding, "Don't worry, I don't mind."
He followed you out into the hallway, and closed Medic's door. He then suplexed the cabinet above his head, looking at you and flashing a smile. He was aiming to impress you, but you smiled and gave a thumbs up. Heavy sighed and threw the cabinet down, and it slammed on top of the Scout, who was just standing up, with a loud crash. Scout groaned.
He turned to you, and noticed your confused expression. He smiled awkwardly, quickly pushing the cabinet off of Scout. Scout squeaked, coughing and getting up shakily again.
"Sorry, was not looking where throwing.." Heavy gave a sheepish grin.
Giggling, you patted his arm.
"You know, Heavy thinks you look beautiful today.." Heavy murmured, and you looked up at him warmly.
"Thanks!" You squeeze-hugged his arm and let go, and Heavy just smiled awkwardly, face reddening a little. Why did you have to be so cute?
"Hey, (c/n), ya still up for what we was gunna do?" Scout asked, spitting out his tooth and rubbing his jaw. You laughed.
"Heck yeah!" You turned to Heavy. "See you later?" You asked. He nodded, watching you go with Scout sadly.
Medic walked out of his room.
"Jou know, jou're going to haff to try harder zhan zhat."
Heavy groaned, looking at him.
"Any ideas?"
Medic just grinned maniacally, dismissing Heavy.
"All in due time, mein freund..."

Heavy was standing peacefully eating his sandvich outside the base. It was a beautiful day, and the sun shone brightly over the grass. However, the radio on the ground next to Heavy seemed to predict otherwise, saying how storm clouds would soon roll in and ruin the serene scenery.
"Pff.." Heavy scoffed. "Weather men are stoopid. Ees obviously perfekt day." He sighed in content, going back to eating his sandvich. That's when Scout came running up.
"Heavy!" He shouted. Heavy looked angrily at Scout, who was running circles around him.
Heavy motioned for him to speak, and Scout stopped running and looked up at him.
"It's (c/n)!!" Scout said quickly, jumping up and down impatiently. Heavy's heart skipped a beat. Were you in trouble!?
"Come on!!" Scout ran away, and Heavy ran behind him, his sandvich dropped and forgotten.
Soon they had reached the sawmill, a light rain beginning to fall. Heavy stared at the clouds, groaning. Seems like the weathermen were right, after all. He looked back at Scout, remembering what was at hand.
"Why here..?" Heavy questioned. Scout turned on his heels.
"Now, don't freak out or anything, but (c/n) and I wanted to check out the sawmill since we're fighting here tomorrow.."
Heavy turned his head slightly. "So...?"
"Soooo, I had (c/n) head into the spooky cave, because she loves caves and I hate bats. But of course, the kind that shit everywhere and screech, not metal ones, because obviously I love metal ones."
"And..?" Heavy growled impatiently.
"Don't freak out, buuuuuttttt...." Heavy knew something was wrong.
"Where. Is she." Heavy said lowly, cutting Scout off.
"Let me explain! W-"
"Where is leetle (y/n)!?" Heavy's voice boomed loudly. Scout flinched.
"Scout!! Did you get Heavy yet!?? I need hel- agh!!" Heavy's head turned towards the direction of the cave, where your faint voice echoed from. He then looked at Scout angrily.
"Yeah, basically, we kinda sorta have a problem, and..." Scout's sentence trailed off. Heavy punched Scout square in the nose, and turned, walking towards the cave, cracking his knuckles.
You were inside of the cave, hanging limply from a root jutting on the ceiling. A bear growled at you from the floor, jumping and clawing at you. Its growl echoed in the cave, piercing your eardrums. It kept jumping and clawing, and you were slipping from the root. Soon it caught your leg with its powerful jaws. You hissed in pain, kicking at it with your other foot.
"Scout!! Did you get Heavy yet!?? I need hel- agh!!" You tried to call, but the bear that got your leg was biting harder into it, pulling you down. You held on to the ceiling, yanking your foot back. But the bear was stronger.
You tumbled down on top of the bear, angering it, and it threw you off its back. You landed on the ground, and the bear lunged at you. It pinned you to the ground, and was rearing up to bite into your neck.
You screamed and closed your eyes as its massive jaws came crashing down towards you, but the bite never came.
You opened your eyes to see large hands straining, holding the bear's jaws up. The bear then moved its paws and tried to attack the person who stopped it, but you quickly shot your feet up into its stomach. The bear recoiled in pain, and you took this chance to crawl backwards to safety. You bumped into someone, and looked up to see your savior.
Heavy looked down at you and held out a hand. You grasped it, standing up.
"Heavy, you... saved me!!" You beamed, and Heavy looked sternly at you.
"Is no time for talk." He gestured to the bear, that was shaking off the pain and getting up. You nodded.
"We fight together!" You said, readying your fists.
"No!" Heavy said frantically, righting himself when you gave a confused look.
"I meant... Nyet, leetle (y/n) will wait outside, help Scout."
"What happened to Scout?" Heavy looked at you tiredly.
"Right right, I need to hurry." You said, running swiftly out of the cave. Heavy sighed, turning towards the approaching bear, and put up his fists.

You were bringing Scout a large medkit when Heavy emerged from the cave. You gave the kit to Scout, who gratefully took it, and watched as Heavy threw down the limp body of the bear.
"So, I guess we're having bear tonight?" You said jokingly.
"Da." Heavy said.
"Oh... ok." You were just joking, but Heavy wasn't in a joking mood. He looked at you. He didn't know where to begin.
He motioned for you to sit down on a nearby tree stump, and you did. He stood in front of you, and crossed his arms.
"Does leetle (y/n) know why Heavy ees mad?" He asked you. You twiddled your fingers.
"Well, I mean.... Uhhh.... No, not really..." You said after a bit of hesitation.
Heavy sighed, pinching his nose. His hard expression softened, and he looked exhausted from worry.
"You scared Heavy." He sighed, moving to sit next to you.
"You also disobeyed rule of base, which ees not to leave base during ceasefire." He added. Guilt seared you, and you looked down.
"And that scared me.. I cannot lose you, precious (y/n)..." he seemed so defeated, and the guilt inside of you worsened.
"I-I... I'm sorry Heavy, I..." he looked over at you.
"And Heavy cannot lose you... when you do not know that Heavy loves you."
You were taken aback.
Love?
You'd always known he liked you as a friend, but.. All this time, he was in love with you?
Your eyes watered.
"Oh, Misha... I'm... I'm so sorry.." you started to cry into his shoulder, and he tensed up. He didn't mean to make you cry!
He slowly put his arm around your shaking frame, and rested his chin on your head, closing his eyes.
He kissed your head softly and you became a blushing mess.
"Oh, get a room guys!" Scout said. Heavy opened one eye to aim, and threw a rock forcefully at the Scout.
"DAMMIT! Why does the author hate me so much!?"

Scout fell to the ground in pain. Soon, Medic was standing over him.
"Vhere ist Heavy und (c/n)?" He asked him. Scout pointed weakly to you two, and Medic beamed.
"Ah, I see mein plan vorked for jou guys!"
Heavy looked up at him.
"You... you made bear go here?!" Heavy yelled at medic.
"Vell, ja. Zhat vas mein plan to get jou two togezher! Und it vorked, didn't it?"
Heavy growled, standing up. He approached the Medic, who held his hands up in alarm.
"Now now, let's not get angry, I knew zhe fraülein could take care of herself, und-" Heavy grabbed Medic, and threw him in the nearby river. He landed with a large splash in the water.
"God verdammt, die wasser ist so kalt..!!!" Medic sputtered in German, flailing frantically in the water.
(God dammit, the water is so cold!)
You and Heavy simply laughed.
"Glad that's over!" You said. You leaned over towards Heavy and pecked him on the cheek.
His face reddened, and he laughed deeply, pulling you into a dip and smashing his face against yours.
