You were the joy for mostly all the mercenaries in your team. You were always so bright and cheery when it comes to your friends, in which would put the mercenaries into a better mood if after you guys loose a battle. Their angry and annoyed demeanors would wipe off clean by your positivity, as if you were a piece of candy towards a weeping toddler, in which they would treat you like a sister or the dearest friend they've ever had...that is, until one merc that breaks your lucky streak. The Medic was a serious and precise man that was a bit difficult to impress or make happy, even to make him smile, even if it was a tiny little curled lip, but that wouldn't stop you from trying.

It was a beautiful day in the base and you woke up very early, making breakfast for everyone. You gasped happily as you heared the 9 tired and sleepy men walking down the hallway. You quickly placed two sunny side up eggs on the plate and a piece of bacon on the bottom, forming it as a smiley face as you placed a tray of pancakes and an extra plate of bacon on the table for the mercs. You happily sat down and waved at the men as they yawned and walked in. "Good morning guys, I made breakfast for you!" You said with a bright smile, making them smile aswell. "Thank ya, Sheila." Said sniper as he poured coffee into his favorite mug. After everyone sat down, you all started eating and talking about today's upcoming battle. As you ate, you took a glimpse at Medic, who already finished his meal and was cleaning off his glasses until he caught you looking at him, making you slightly blush and smile. "So, you ready for battle later?" You asked him as casual as possible. He sighed as he put on his glasses. "Ja frau, I'm alvays veady." He said as he picked up his plate and started washing it.

You smiled as you nodded. Even though he wasn't as playful or cheerful, he sure was attractive, not to mention very smart and a real gentleman. You sighed happily as you went to go wash your plate and head off to get ready for battle, but the german doctor kept crossing your mind once more. A light blush spread on your cheeks as you thought of telling him the truth, imagining himself saying that he returned your feelings aswell. You sighed and bit your lip, assuming he wouldn't choose someone like yourself, but you never gave up hope. You remembered the note you made, saying how much he meant to you and how he was such an amazing friend, it even said how much you loved him. You smiled as you walked to your room and grabbed the piece of paper, reading it over again atleast 4 times, then you put it down next to a crimson red rose as you headed off to go get ready.

-10 Minutes Later-

Now that you have dressed in your uniform and grabbed your weapon, you headed with the others to get ready. You smiled softly as you planned of giving the note and rose to Medic after battle, once everyone is relaxed and back at the base. You got your weapon ready, sitting down on a small wooden bench as you checked your gun, making sure there wasn't a problem with it, not noticing the german that was staring at your hands. He blushed a bit as he wanted to touch them, feel them on his palms as he kisses you, but he knew he couldn't. He wanted to keep the relationship between you and him professional but it was hard. Medic fixed his glasses and grabbed his medi-gun, holding it tightly as if it would slip out from his hands from the slightest loose grip. Then, it started. The battle had begun as you killed some of the opposite team's members as you weren't smiling or cheery, but instead was focused and determined to win.

All of a sudden, the opposite team's Medic and Heavy were shooting at any mercenary that had the opposite color. You noticed that Medic was about to get shot, until you quickly pushed him out the way, but tripped on the large tube that attached the medi-gun to his uber charge pack on his back, ripping it off as Medic yelled as he tried to fix it quickly. "Here here! I'll help-" "JUST LEAVE IT!" He yelled at you as he carried it. You were shocked at him from yelling at you, making you shiver. "Doktor!" Yelled your team's Heavy, needing help until the scout and Engineer were calling out his name. Medic growled loudly, furious as he couldn't do anything since the gun was broken."YOU FAILED!!!" Said the administrator as your team groaned in annoyance. You and the others walked back to your base, miserable and agitated. You were silent as you walked with them, until you went to Medic's side. "I am so sorry about your medi-" you were caught off by his annoyed expression that caught you off guard, making you look away and walk with Engie instead.

Once you got back to your base and into your room, you took a shower and changed into your favorite pajamas. You sat down on the edge of your bed as you stared at the note and rose, making you sigh and grab them. You then built up the courage and went to the Med Bay. Once you arrived there, Medic was grumbling and cursing in german as he tried fixing his medi-gun, so you carefully and quietly walked, holding the note and rose behind your back. "Hey Medic, do you have a second?" You asked with a hopeful smile.

Medic rolled his eyes as he slammed a tool next to him. "Actually frau, I don't." He said in an annoyed tone. You slightly frowned, but still kept a tiny smile on. "Oh, so do you want me to come back later or-" "Can jou just leave?!" He yelled. You flinched as you looked at him, surprised yet scared. You started to frown as you placed a hand on his shoulder. "Medic Im so sorry, but hey atleast your not sleeping with the fishes..hehe" you said with a forced awkard laugh. Medic scoffed as he looked at you. "Gott, I'd razher be dead zhen fix zhis damn zhing." You pulled your hand away as your facial expressions read 'how could you say something like that?' "Look Im sorry ok? I didn't mean to I just wanted to-" he stopped you as he looked at you, annoyed and agrivated. "Jou know, it be better if jou left already." You felt your chest tense up as those words stung hard, gripping onto the letter and rose. "Why?! Can you just let me help you atleast?" Medic groaned loudly as he took off his lab coat.

"I can do it by mein self, und besides you'd probably brake something!" He said as he was getting angry and even more annoyed. You were persistent as you grabbed a tool and looked at the gun. "No I won't, let me just-" "hey hey hey, vhat are jou doing!?" He panicked as he watched you trying to fix it until he quickly grabbed the tool and nudged you backwards. "Do not touch it!" He growled as he slammed the tool down, making you flinch. Medic's face grew dark as he gripped your shoulders, holding himself back from yelling at you. "Get out, now." He said in a dark voice."B-but I have something to-" "I could care less of vhat jou need to tell mich, so go!" He yelled again, pointing at the door as your lips started quivering as tears started to form. You felt your heart shatter in a million pieces as a couple tears fell down your cheeks as you stared at him, shocked and devastated. Medic's expression softened at this as he now realized, he had made the worst mistake he could pssiblg make. You quickly went to the door as you wiped away a tear, then you looked back at him. "I can see why some of the other guys call you heartless..." you said, heart broken as you ran out, ripping up the note up into large chunks as you dropped the rose aswell, running to your room as slammed the door closed, locking it and collapsed onto your bed and started crying.

Medic's eyes widened as he placed a hand over his chest, feeling his heart ache as he felt like a total dick bag for yelling at you. He tried to go after you, but once he saw you slam your door closed, he felt his whole world collapse, not noticing the Scout and Sniper shaking their heads at Medic. "Ya bloody pompous." Sniper grumbled as he walked away with Scout sticking his tongue out at him, making Medic growl but calm down as he knew he deserved that for hurting you. He then noticed the shredded up paper, letting him collect every single piece until he found the rose that you stepped on while running. He felt even worse as some of the rose's petals fell off and it's stem broken in half, just like your heart. The pain in Medic's chest hurt even more as the rose fell apart, making a tear fall as he took the remains of the rose and letter into his lab and on his desk as he immediately sat down and started pieceing the note back together with tape. Meanwhile, you were sobbing your eyes out, grabbing tissue after tissue as you held your pillow to your chest tightly, your heart shattered like a glass vase as your eyes were two rainy clouds, pouring out it's essence as you calmed down over time, sniffling as you turned on the Tv in your room to calm your nerves.

Medic fixed his glasses as he carfully pieced back the note together, picking it up as he felt tears fall as he read.

"Dear Medic, you are such an amazing friend to me, I would follow you to the ends of the Earth. Everything about you intrigues me, it makes me want to make you happy. I always love to make people happy, especially if it means you would be happy aswell...and I have to come clean about this...I love you Medic with all my heart, you make me feel special, even if your stressed or annoyed, I still love you, it's who you are. Everytime we share glances or smiles, it brightens up my mood even more, making my heart flutter as it is almost like you put a spell on me...I love you so much I could write a whole page of one thing about you, whether it's your features or personality, hell, words can't describe how much I want to love you dearly, even if you don't love me back, that's fine, having you as a friend is still just as important♡♡♡

At this point, Medic was in tears as he held the note close to his heart broken chest. "Oh liebe, Im so sorry." He whispered out as he stroked the paper gently. After he wiped away his tears, he delicately grabbed both halves of the rose and put a bandaid on it, letting it stand on a vase as he smiled sadly at it. "I fixed it, I just have to fix jou now." He said to himself, looking at a picture of you and Medic celebrating new years. He smiled as he got up, grabbing his fountain pen and a light pink piece of paper, writing down how he feels and how much he is sorry.

-2 HOURS LATER-

It was finally time for dinner as Engie walked down the hall to your front door, knocking on it softly. "Doll dinners' ready." He said with a soft accent. You got up, your eyes puffy and red as your hand clenched onto the wet tissues, opening the door. "Oh my, dolly ya ain't looken so good." Your face was pale and tour eyes were blood shot and puffy, your face showing a bot of annoyance and disappointment, making Engie worried as he never seen you like this. "Darlin, whats the matter?" You just stayed quiet and shrugged before answering. "Oh nothing, I've just been hit with reality, thats all..." Engie frowned. "Well, if ya need to talk, I'll be open." You nodded and you two left for dinner.

Once you got there, you didn't see Medic anywhere, making you feel awful yet relieved that he didn't have to see you in the state you were in. You sat down and started poking your plate of some beefy ravioli, a deep frown on your face. Dinner was quiet but it was usually loud because of you making the mercs laugh, but today you felt like crap. Everyone started whispering, wondering why you were so quiet then all of a sudden Medic came through the door with a smile. "Hello gang! Und hello zhere frau." He said, smiling at you, making you scoff and roll your eyes. This caught everyone off guard as they have never seen you in such a horrible mood. "Liebe, I am awfully sorry for vhat happened, look see? I got zhe rose und I made jou a note too!" He said, letting grab both things. You looked at him and death glared before crumbling up the note and shredding up the rose, running away while crying.

Medic felt his whole world shatter as his face darkened, but quickly grab the note and the rose petals and followed after. Meanwhile you were sobbing on your bed untio you heared a knock at the door. You went to go open to see Medic on his knees holding the note and rose pedals as his eyes were littered with tears. "Liebe bitte! Im sorry! Im so ficking sorry for everyzhing, jou mean zhe vorld to mich!" He said breaking down infront of you, making you shocked. He cried his heart out, telling you how much he loves you and that he wishes he never did that to you. You leaned down to him and kissed his lips, letting him kiss back as you two wiped away each others tears. Once you two pulled away, you cupped his cheeks as he held you close. "Liebe, I love jou so much."
You finally smiled as you kissed his nose. "I love you too." Medic then crumbled up the petals and threw them above you, making you giggle then gave you the note. "Oh Medic, *sniff* Its so beautiful." Then you two went into your room to show how much you two loved each other.
