"I forbid you to go to the shore line!" Your father said. "But dad, humans aren't monsters! They're fascinating creatures and besides, we can turn into one of them." You said trying to reason with your father, but your dad wasn't having any if it. "*sigh* (y/n) please just listen to me. What if a human finds out about your abilities?! What if they steal your skin?" You stayed quiet. "How do you know they will do that?" You said with anger coursing through your vains. "You will not go to the shore line!" Your dad yelled. You sniffled then tears formed in your eyes, but your father couldn't see them since they were concealed by the ocean water. You swam away in anger and jumped out of the water onto a ledge of a gaint boulder that sat a fairly close to the shore.

You never understood why your father would say those things about them. You and your family were basically always in the ocean, never getting to take off your seal skin and walk on two human legs. Ever since you were a child, your father always told you that it was dangerous to go since some humans were heartless beings that will capture you and steal your coat. You were a bit uncertain of staying on the rock now, now that you remembered what he always said about them, not to mention scared. You were scared of the thought of a human taking away your seal skin and leaving you stranded. That wasn't the scary thing though, if a selkie's sealskin gets taken away from them, they will become stranded on land and can never return to the ocean. Yet, you still felt that it wasn't true and that many humans were caring and kind. Then again, you nor your family knew, but you were unsure of your father from all the things he said about them. You looked around and sighed, thinking of doing something that might change your perspective of life. You were going to try and go inland.

Your POV:

I slowly made my back straight, then I reached over my head and started taking off my seal coat, revealing my human form from underneath. I placed my coat on a tiny crater in the rocks and dragged my fingers over the smooth and damp coat, admiring the silver like pelt that I was given at birth. I tried to stand up, but fell. Luckily, I landed on a bed of seaweed making a squishy noise in which I giggled at it. It's been so long since I came out of the water. I remembered when me and my dad came out of the water and danced in the full moon when I was 4 or 5, Im not sure, it was like a blur in my head because it was so long ago. We were having so much fun. I noticed the sky was getting clear, then I saw the full moon.

I was very excited since it was the first time in ages. I slowly got up again and slowly and carefully tried to walk towards the sand. With success and a little bit of tripping, I finally made it to land, wiggling my feet in the cool wet sand. I looked up from my feet to far inland, where I saw a town near by. "Hmm, so thats Tuefort." I said to myself. I remembered my dad talking about some town about 10 miles away from the shoreline. It all looked so beautiful. The colorful lights, the different types of houses, and the trees that slightly surrounded one side of the town. I went into this wooded area and looked up at the sky, but sadly the moon was partially covered by clouds. I sighed and tried to dance, but tripped and fell, but was startled when I heared a noise in the bushes that was about ten steps away from where I was.

Blu Medic's POV:

It's been so stressful lately in the Blu base. We've been losing some battles between the Red team which really gets everyone on my team edgy and annoyed. We've been distant and quiet with each other ever since we lost the last battle. I decided that if I was going to help my team, I would act more professional towards them. I couldn't be isolated at my desk doing paper work, so I asked permission to go to town and take a walk. I walked around town, watching people come and go, people talking and being with others, it made me feel alone. I watched as I saw a couple holding hands and walking with each other down the sidewalk across from me.

It made me feel even more gloomy. As I made it to the edge of town, I saw the waves from the ocean hit the rocks. Then, I decided to go to the beach, but the quickest way to the shore was through a small wooded area, so I walked on a small trail towards the beach. As I was walking, I stepped awkwardly on a rock and fell in a cushion of bushes. I grumbled then dusted myself off.

No one's POV:

You turned around and ran with a bit of stumbling motion. You swam from the shore to the giant rock and disguised yourself with your seal coat, turning back to your seal self. You dove in the water and was going to swim away, but you stuck your head out the water and looked back at the shore and saw a tall man walking on the shore in the sand. Because of curiosity, you swam carefully towards the shore and watched the man closely. You saw the man sit on the sand and crossed his legs and drew in the sand carelessly. You dove deep on the water and jumped up in the air catching the man's attention. He looked up at you in amazement and watched you come and wobble out of the water and become face to face infront of him.

Your POV:

He looked very handsome. He has such defined characteristics that made him look really attractive. He had black hair, baby blue eyes, cream colored skin, and circular glasses. Now, we were looking at each other in the eyes and didn't say anything. "Hallo zhere seal, vhere did jou come from?" He asked in a soft voice with a german accent. I just stared at him, afraid that if he found out what I was, he would keep my coat, but I slipped up. "Hello." The man gasped and was taken back from the surprising event. I mean, it's not everyday you come across a talking seal. "D-did jou just talk?!" I nodded. "Vhat are jou?" He asked curiously. "Im a selkie." The man was confused yet amazed. "But, I zhought zhat vas just a myth." I didn't know what to say to him, so I was going to show him. I reached to the top of my head and pulled away my coat revealing my human form. "Gott in Himmel..." he said as he stared at me. I noticed him blush slightly, noticing that I was nude. I sat next to him and faced him. "So, jou're really a selkie, I zhought I vas just going insane from being cooped up in zhat room all day." I giggled at his response making him smile. "It feels so good to meet someone like yourself, mister~ what's your name?" "Danke I feel zhe same vay, und mien name is Joseph. Vhat's jour's?" I smiled and kept a tight grip on my coat. "It's (y/n)." He placed a hand on mine and looked deeply into my eyes, almost as if he was hypnotizing me.

"Zhat is such a beautiful name." I felt my face becoming hot. We talked for what was about a good 30 minutes until I looked up and saw that the moon was beginning to uncover. "*gasp* Joseph look! It's the full moon, do you know what that means?" I said excitingly. "Vhat does it mean, Frau?" You grabbed his hand and pulled him up. "It's time to celebrate. Want to dance?" Jospeh held me close to him. "Of course, und I know just zhe place." Me and Joseph went back to the clearing and positioned ourselves to get ready to dance. "Are you ready?" He asked me
"Y-yeah, but..." Jospeh put some strands of hair behind my ear, leaving his touch on my skin. "But vhat?" "I can't really dance." He chuckled and held onto one of my hands while he placed the other hand on my bare waist. "I vill help jou."

No one's POV:

You were helped by Joseph and now you were dancing under the moon light on the soft grass. You two laughed and snuggled against one another, feeling and exchanging each others body heat. Then, fireflies came and glowed up the scenery. You and Joseph spent so much time together, you completely lost track of time. You grabbed your coat and was about to enter the water, but was gently grabbed on the arm. "Vait, vill I see you again?" He asked concerned and hopeful. You hugged him and kissed his jaw line. "Yes, does tomorrow night sound good?" Medic smiled and held you tightly. "I vouldn't miss it for zhe vorld." You put on you coat and swam back into the water and back home. "(Y/n) I've been worried sick, where were you." You hugged your dad and swam gingerly in the water. "Meeting the love of my life."

Medic's POV:

"Until tomorrow and then on, mien sweet~ Gut nicht."
