(A/N HELLLOOOOO MY LOVES!!! Holy freaking ravioli it's been quite a while since my last update, I apologize for that 😓 I've had writers block and had to deal with some 'events' that happened in my personal life, but I'm starting to get back in to the writing game now. I just want to whole heartedly apologize to those who gave me requests and that had to wait so long, I've started to get back into the routine of making a oneshot atleast every week or so. I'm also thinking of creating a different oneshot book about Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss, but I'm still not sure if I want to yet, plus idk if people would wanna read it lol, I've only spent time on Tf2 and obviously mostly Medic lol. Anyways, I love yall and I missed yall so much and I'm happy to be back, I hope everyone is safe during quarantine :3)

You laid back against your seat as you stretched and yawned, looking out the bus window as you took in the scenery, which was pretty much dry land, barely any greenery or trees. You were currently on a bus to Tuefort for your new job as a mercenary. You sighed, finally relieved in the fact that you found a job that pays well and infact rrquires for your level of skills. Even though the company that you were now gonna work for was scetchy and extremely confidential, you didn't worry too much since you had that small meet up with a raven haired lady named Ms. Pauling. Suddenly you felt the bus start to slow down infront of its  bus stop by a street corner. You then pulled out a sticky note that Ms. Pauling gave you in which said to meet her at the coffee bean cafe in the small town of Tuefort so she could talk to you and take you to your assigned location.

You quickly grabbed your stuff, slipping on your backpack before jumping off the bus, huffing a little from the hot weather due to you being cooped inside of a well air conditioned vehicle for the past 4 hours. You didn't expect it, but you toughened it up and walked down the sidewalk, looking around before heading inside the cafe. You slowed your pace down, eyeing down the people in the cafe to try and find Ms. Pauling before locking eyes with the brunette, in which you quickly made your way to the booth she was currently sitting in. You sat down on the opposite side, setting your stuff down before looking at her "Jeez, the ride here was rough." You commented as she gave a smile, chuckling a little "I apologize for that, anyways I have your information and the details for your team and side you'll be working with." You examined the manilla folder she handed you before speaking "So, I'll be working with..Red?" Pauling smiled a little from it "Reliable Excavation Demolition yes, and you'll also be working with 9 other people on the team, they're your teammates." After a long 10 minutes of talking and receiving some of your favorite beverage and a snack, Ms. Pauling stood up and fixed her glasses "Alright then, let's head over to them now." Pauling said, making you nod and close the folder. You grabbed your stuff and left with her, jumping into her car before driving off into the desert once more.
The drive was nice, silent and peaceful as the moon illuminated the desert, letting you look out the open window, enjoying the nice warm night air before looking back at Pauling. "So, my teammates... are they nice?" You asked as you sat back and listened to Pauling "Yeah somewhat, the guys are really nice once you get to know them." "Guys? So they're all men?" Pauling nodded with a hum "Yeah, this is gonna be the first time that they'll have a female team member." You nodded and looked out the window once more, wondering how the situation will be once you arrive.

Ms. Pauling drove for about an hour before pulling into a secret road, then you could see lights in the distance of a rather large building. She drove up and parked the car by a truck that had the label 'Red Bread' turning off the car before stepping out with you. You grabbed your stuff and headed inside the building, only to be bombarded by 9 men at the doorway "hey doll, who's this?" A scrawny man with a baseball in his hand asked as he came up to Ms. Pauling, putting an arm around her shoulders. She seemed uncomfortable as she took his hand off of her before clearing her throat "This, Scout, is your guys' new teammate." She said before giving you a look that meant to introduce yourself. "Hey, I'm (Y/n)." Out of nowhere, a masked man or woman came up to you and cheerfully shook your hand a little roughly, surprising you a bit as you nearly tripped over yourself from how rough they were being, but you knew it was all in good good intentions. "Huddah huddah huddah huddah!" You raised an eyebrow before a man with a hard hat came up, chuckling a little "I apologize deary he's just a little excited, this here is Pyro, and I'm the Engineer, welcome to our team." He spoke, in which you felt a little more comfortable and welcomed to the new surroundings. Then, other men came up and greeted you, happily shaking your hand. You seemed to like everyone here due to their kind nature, well, mostly everyone. The Scout was cocky, but that didn't compare to Soldier, he was just too much, or how the others would say 'Soldier is just being Soldier.' Then came a tall man with glasses, walking up towards you with a slight forced smile. You could tell he wasn't big on introductions like Pyro or Engineer, but that didn't get in the way of his introduction.

"Hallo frauline, I'm zhe Medic, a pleasure it is to meet jou und to have jou on our team." He spoke with a glint in his eye. Medic noticed but didn't say anything as he found it rather cute, causing him to smile widely before quickly turning away, clearing his throat "Anyvays, I suppose jou vant to settle in." You were cut from your thoughts as you nodded "Yeah, if you don't mind." "Not at all, I'll be back to get jou vhen dinner is prepared, jou know, to show jou zhe vay of course." He said a little nervous at the endinf before quickly leaving "bye." You said softly as he waved, closing the door.

You sat on your bed and held your cheeks, sighing in content "Holy crap he's cute." You mumbled to yourself before looking around the room, observing the clean peach colored walls with a white door that led to the bathroom, a large dresser, a nightstand with a lamp, a desk with a chair, and your bed, which was clean with white pillows with red sheets. You couldn't have asked for anything better as you happily took your stuff out of your suit cases and readied them to be put away.
After about 25 minutes of organizing your stuff around the room, you looked around and smiled, loving how you had set up everything, especially the extra touches you put such as some posters of your favorite bands or musicians, some picture frames, and a soft fluffy rug in the center of the room. A soft knock interrupted your inner thoughts as you faced the door and walked over, opening it to find a somewhat blushing german with a grin. "Dinner is ready frau." You quickly put on some house shoes and closed the door, walking with Medic down the hallway as he was explaining to you how to get around the building to find your bedroom, the cafeteria, training room, and respawn room. Finally, you got to the cafeteria and sat down next to Medic, eating dinner while the other mercs boomed with laughter as they told jokes with one another. "So frau, how vas jour trip to Tuefort?" Medic asked before putting in a fork full of food in his mouth. You wiped your lips before answering "It was, eventful. I almost got mugged by a homeless cat lady, luckily I ran away and hid in the bus station, even though I was like 45 minutes early." Medic nearlg spat out his food as he laughed. He then swallowed before letting out another laugh "Are jou serious? Zhat is hilarious!" You chuckled, blushing a little as his laughs made you feel warm and fuzzy inside. You also favored the few carved in designs that were on your sword causing you to smile before putting it away once Scout came over.

You chuckled and put it away, fixing up your dark red and black ninja uniform with your logo on both sides of upper arms. "MISSION BEGINS IN 5 MINUTES!" The administrator spoke through the speakers while you prepared yourself for battle. You made sure you had your weapons and cleared your mind in order to fight, but you were interrupted by something that caught your eye....actually, more like some german. You blushed madly but quickly felt yourself do so, causing you to lift up your mask to cover the bottom half of your face. "Hallo frau, are jou veady for zhe battle today? All the mercenaries got into their positions, holding their weapons while you held your sword, standing stiffly with your grip tightening your weapon.

Everybody ran out as the large metal door opened, especially you as you jumped as high as you could and landed on a roof of one of the buildings. "THE INTELLIGENCE HAS BEEN CAPTURED!" You groaned, cursing under your breath as you quickly made it out of the base, hating the fact that the administrator spoke through the speakers once more. Now you realized that you had to get out of there quickly before you get cornered by the enemies and get killed. Luckily, you found a large window that led out into the battlefield, so you ran to it but stopped as you analyzed the field, looking for a safe spot to land and escape to your base. You then spotted your Medic, Heavy, Engineer, and Demoman holding off their enemy counter parts, so you made your decision and stepped back a bit before sprinting out the window, making flips in the air. What you didn't know is that Medic and everyone else stared in awe as you jumped out with the flips. Medic's eyelids drooped a little as he made a goofy love strucken expression "Verdammt, was für eine Frau~" He mumbled to himself as he bit his lip, watching her land perfectly before throwing ninja stars at the enemies, causing them to land right inbetween the eyes of the enemy Medic and Heavy in which made them drop dead as you got two perfect critical hits. Then, you grabbed your sword and cut his head off with a loud grunt. You then ran off towards the base, running inside the shadows of the large buildings while Engineer and Heavy cheered you on while Medic was gawking at you as you ran off, sighing in love as he leaned against his medi gun, propping his head up with his arm as he couldn't help but stop and admire you with bright red cheeks. "Come on doktor! We're not done yet!" The giant russian yeld as he revved his gun, Sasha, up again, shooting at the respawned enemies. A few moments later, the speakers came on again "VICTORY!" All the Reds cheered and jumped happily while the Blues hissed and growled at the other team.

Your team cheered you on as Heavy threw you in the air before catching you and setting you down on your feet.
