It was around 3 in the morning when their small boat hit the edge of the main land. None of them were awake. Scout was fast asleep, huddled up in a smaller corner of the boat. Pauling was also huddled to herself in a corner of the boat. Ludwig was leaning up against the inside of it, still where he was when he had passed out from exhaustion.

The moon was slowly setting. The boat was stuck to the dirt of the land, holding it in place.

Time Skip = Next Morning
Scout shifted his head slightly, taking a deep breath. This time, he didn't get blasted with a chilled gust of wind, but a nice feeling of heat.

The Air Bender stretched himself out before sitting up and opening his eyes. He woke up in the boat. Jeremy looked to the right of him, seeing Miss Pauling, then to his left, seeing Doctor Ludwig, both asleep.

Slowly, Scout stood up and attempted to not rock the boat.

Doctor Ludwig woke up anyway, sitting up straighter and cracking his neck and back. "Vhat happened?"

Pauling slowly sat up, yawning. "Did we make it?"

Scout scanned the area around with his eyes. "Hm.. looks like it. We ain't on ice anymore."

Ludwig slowly stood up, making sure to take it slow for a moment. "Ve best get a move on. Ve need to get off zhis beach and into zhe jungle."

The two nodded before grabbing their stuff that they had taken with them and following the doctor into the forest jungle. The sun was around the hour of 10 am.

The jungle was nothing like the cold artic. It was hot and sticky. Bugs were everywhere too. The three finally had to stop around 1 pm to take off some layers and take a breather.

Pauling ditched her coat, putting it inside of her back pack. She now wore only a dress with pants underneath them.

Ludwig on the other hand, only put his coat on his shoulders, and buttoning the sleeves together so it would make a shoulder length cloak on him.

Jeremy took his coat off, and did the same as the doctor, rolling up his sleeves and buttoning them so they'd stay up.

The three, after readjusting themselves, continued walking down the small dirt trail.

They steadily got closer to an Earth town. Ludwig pointed ahead. "Zhere. Zhere is vhere ve can stay for tonight." The time was now around 5pm.

Scout sighed in relief. "Oh my lord thank you! I'm so freaking tired of walking!"

Ludwig merely shook his head as the three of them went up to the town gate wall.

They had all got to the gate wall and they stopped by it. Its doors were drawn closed.

Ludwig looked confused. "Hello? Can anyvon let us in?"

Scout looked the gate up and down, trying to see if there was some kind of outpost thing. "I don't see anything. I don't think anyone's home."

"But this is a town right? There has to be people here." Pauling interjected.

"Hey!"

The foreign voice caused the three adventures to jolt and turn around. Behind them stood a man wearing traditional Earth kingdom colors and clothing. His skin was dark and one of his eyes was even missing. "You've past into the wrong neighborhood to pick on laddie's." A Scottish man was speaking to them.

Scout put his hands up. "Wait! Whoa whoa whoa! Slow down there man! We don't want any trouble!"

The Scot spoke again, drawing out a sword. "Psh. Like I haven't heard that before. Now how would you like to do this? The easy way or hard way?" He held his sword at them menacingly.

Pauling clutched her hands to fists, she looked determined to fight her way out of this.

Ludwig grabbed Pauling's arm, stopping her from doing anything dumb. "Ve really don't mean any trouble, ve just need a place to stay zhe night. Zhen ve'll be gone."

The man laughed. "Guess it's the hard way." The man suddenly charged at them, swinging his sword at them.

Scout, in a rush of adrenaline, pushed the two water benders out of the way and put his hands up, doing a push motion with both his hands. A huge gust of wind blew upward, blocking the Scotsman's swing down.

Pauling and Ludwig both stumbled different ways before steadying themselves. They quickly opened flasks of water and did different hand motions to pull the water out of the canteens.

The Scot took a sharp swing at the Air bender's side.

Jeremy yelped out, stumbling back. He went and put his hand over his side.

Finally, the guard took a final punch at the benders face, knocking him flat against his back on the ground.

Pauling and the Doctor both moved at the same time, running towards the guard and making a swiping motion with their hands, shooting water at the man.

The Scot quickly moved, dodging.

Pauling gritted her teeth. This guy was good. She made a large swoop motion with her arms and sent her water after the guard.

The man dodged once again, quickly moving up on Miss Pauling. He ran up and swung at her.

The water benders eyes widened, and she braced herself only slightly for the blade's strike. But it never came.

Ludwig jumped in front of her, holding a water spike on his hand and blocking the swordmans sword in a parry.

Doctor Ludwig struggled with the guard. This man was good. He didn't even appear to have any kind of bending abilities either. "Ve don't v-vant to fight you!" Ludwig managed out, still struggling to hold the parry.

The Scot held a firm glare, before the look of anger became a look of smugness. "Then this will be over pretty soon."

The doctor flinched, suddenly feeling the ground start to shake from around and underneath him.

The moment of hesitation gave the Scot a chance to take a solid punch at the doctor's gut.

Ludwig jolted and his bending faltered. He staggered to the ground, holding his stomach and coughing.

Pauling jolted. She rushed up to attack back at the guard. But from the ground, large stone slabs shot up, trapping her inside this stone box. "Hey! Let me out of here!" She shouted. She pounded against one of the walls. "Doctor Ludwig! Scout!" She cried out.

Jeremy opened his eyes, seeing several other earth kingdom guard looking people hovering over him. He groaned slightly, returning to his laying position with his head laying against the ground.

The Scotsman went and pointed his sword at Doctor Ludwig's head when the man had sat back up slightly. "Hey, you wanted the hard way. You got it. Take em away lads."

The other Earth kingdom guards started approaching the three who were now separated out.
